I don't know why the rating is so high on this place...I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants and this doesn't even compare to the others. There was no heat at all overall more bland flavor . The prices were good and portions were good. Service was good but it was not was I was expecting. This was not authentic Thai food. We had high expectations especially since we are from the Bellevue area originally and have had some of the best Thai cuisine. My husband was thrilled with the food, I was not. I had the Showering Rama. Hubby had Pad See Ew. The Showering Rama was drowning in peanut sauce which wasn't mixed well and had too much oyster sauce in it. The chicken was jerky. I ordered a big takeout order from Thai Elephant back at the beginning of 2020 (the first time I've gotten food there). I ordered the panang curry and the clear broth noodle soup with chicken (basically, pho). I thought the soup was the best pho I've ever had. The panang curry was very tasty too, though it wasn't quite the flavor I've been searching for since I had the best panang curry of my life in 2015. The portions were very generous, but sadly I got the flu the next day (unrelated) and I wasn't able to finish my takeout. I'll try them again soon! read more

I wanted to try something new and my husband wanted Thai for our dating anniversary. So we picked this place. Boy are we glad we did. We started with the potstickers, which were good. Then we split three entrees: Chicken Noodle, which was delicious. The Cashew Chicken, which was pretty good. And the Pork Thai Fried Rice, which was AMAZING! So flavorful. Whew.... We ate here a few weeks ago for the first time, choosing this restaurant, based solely on the reviews from Yelp. It was mediocre then. Our new favorite Thai restaurant (we're new to the area) last night was not open, so we opted for Thai Elephant again. It went from mediocre to awful the second time around. All of our food was just warm, nothing was hot or fresh. The pad Thai was probably one of the worst I've ever had. Noodles were way overcooked, soggy and mushy. It all fell apart in your mouth. Slightly gag-inducing. The flavors were exceptionally flat, with no spice or heat. The Pho lacked any depth of flavor too. So much so we had to add salt. In my 20 years of enjoying Thai food I've never had to add salt, particularly to pho. I'm not convinced their pho is authentic bone broth. The normal hints of spice (star anise, cinnamon, clove, fennel etc.,) were lost in the blandness. Tasted much like premade broth from a carton. The appetizers aren't worth the time to review. We gave them a second chance and they lost us completely with this to-go order. Will stick with our favorite. I'm not entirely sure how they're earning such good reviews. You can do significantly better elsewhere in the region...even up the road a mile there's phenomenal options. read more

Amazing amazing food. I've yet to try something on the menu I don't enjoy. The service is always fast and friendly whether I am dining in or order to go. The portions are generous for the pricing and the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere with icicle lights surrounding the seating area. With a beautiful atmosphere and friendly, attentive service, this is one of the best places to go on a nice date or spoil yourself. The owners are Thai natives that have run this place for a long time, and have quality consistency down like a science. They stay true to authenticity while still catering to American taste buds. The curry here is killer and they even serve duck if you're feeling adventurous. I also love their pad thai, fresh rolls (that they serve with actual peanut sauce!) and noodle dishes. The one thing I didn't like from here was their shrimp tom yum soup. I expected it to be spicier (which I should have requested). The broth was pretty good, very herby and rather reminiscent of tomato soup. But the shrimps were a little hard and fishy tasting like they hadn't steeped in the broth long enough. I'd also had preferred they had used the lighter tasting "button" mushrooms that you commonly see in this soup instead of dark creminis. Sorry to vent, I'm just obsessed with this soup and tend to compare it at all Thai restaurants I visit! Overall this restaurant is very, very good! read more

The portion size was great, the price was fair and the service was very good. The food also came very quickly and well presented. It was also some of the best tasting food I have eaten in the TriCities in 12 years I've been here. The only down side (for me) was the heat level. Simply wonderful! Love the green curry with vegetables and tofu. I recommend making it spicy! Drunken Noodles with Tofu and a spice level 4 is where it's at! So freaking good! I loved the flavor. My new favorite. And then Shrimp Pad Thai with added Vegetables. Yum! So so good. Also loved their coconut shrimp and delicious Orange chicken. Flavors were all on point. Great service. Huge portions for your money. You can easily share each meal with more than one other person...in fact, I recommend doing so, so you can try more items. I love their food, every dish I've tried is filling and deliciously seasoned. The staff are friendly and welcoming; my problem lies in how they take orders for customers dining in. Rather than separating payment at the end, they want to know up front if you're splitting the check, then they enter orders separately. My friend got her hot meal a full five minutes before I got my cold appetizer - then I waited another ten minutes for my hot food. Every table seated near us (also parties of two, but both couples on the same ticket) also received their meals close to five minutes apart. This isn't a fun way to dine; I'll continue ordering food to go, but I'll be skipping the dining in experience unless they change the way they run orders. read more

The Halibut with Tamarind is amazing, but I've tried many of the dishes and each was great. You are absolutely assured of having something delicious if you go with any of the fresh curries. The tom kha presentation is worth the visit alone! Pair that with some larb, papaya salad, sticky rice and Thai tea, and you cannot go wrong. All super fresh and delicious. We are so grateful to have found this place. The other Thai place we used to eat at really went downhill after the pandemic. Not so with this establishment. I had chicken Pad Thai & my husband had Shrimp Pad Thai. Friendly staff, food presentation, taste, the freshness of the vegetables, the moistness of the chicken, shrimp cooked to the perfect temperature- couldn't have been better.
