We are so grateful to have found this place. The other Thai place we used to eat at really went downhill after the pandemic. Not so with this establishment. I had chicken Pad Thai & my husband had Shrimp Pad Thai. Friendly staff, food presentation, taste, the freshness of the vegetables, the moistness of the chicken, shrimp cooked to the perfect temperature- couldn't have been better. We will be coming back here in the future. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some outstanding Thai food. read more

Wonderful selection of dishes and diverse menu choices! Being Vegan I was in the mood for something more than your average salad, and this Thai food was amazing and hit the spot! Every dish had the option to be made vegetarian or with tofu and the price was laid out clearly on the menu along with the different meat choice prices as well. The waitress was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in regards to each of the dishes! We loved everything we ordered: 7 plates total for a group of 7! Plus two appetizers. Authentic. Great customer service. Delicious food, and a romantic ambiance! I would come here again and again and again! Started off with crispy spring rolls, pretty decent egg rolls, fried nicely and served with the sweet chili sauce. I've also been to Thai places where the orange chicken was mostly the batter but here.. there's actually chicken inside! The Thai tea was good, not that bad. Tom yum was great, not extremely flavorful, but nothing really wrong with it. To top off the dinner was the mango sticky rice. Honestly the best I've ever had and I've tried plenty of authentic places. So on the way out we ordered another sticky rice to go! The portions were decent and pretty average prices. I wish there was more sticky rice though! read more

Formerly the King & I, this place is now under new ownership and has been renovated on the interior. The menu is similar to the old menu, but the food has been updated and was delicious. Favorites: The peanut sauce with the salad rolls has an added level of thai spice zip to it that I haven't tasted at other places. It was a nice touch. The roasted duck curry was also outstanding. This is one of the (if not "the") best Thai restaurants in the Tri-Cities. We've only ever had take-out -- but it's SO good! Our favorite is the Panang Curry with chicken. We order 4 stars and it's nice and spicy. Our food is always ready when we get there to pick it up (we call ahead.) We hope people continue to go here, it would be a shame if they went out of business. Also, the crispy spring rolls are a really tasty appetizer! Enjoy. read more

I have dined at Thai Elephant on 3 occasions and it has been excellent each time. The Pad Thai has awesome flavors, the noodles cooked to perfection, the Orange chicken had tons of flavor and a very nice presentation and today, I had the Beef Pho Soup, the flavors again jump out and awaken your taste buds. Compared to all the other Thai Restaurants in town, hands down the food has more exciting flavor than any of the others. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, an upscale of your typical Thai Restaurant. The food came out very fast each time and Service was above average for a Thai Place. I would like to see these guys take it a step further in the service direction to bring on well trained staff who can really create the complete dining experience as I have not had this good of Thai food since I dined at Typhoon in Seattle. Get in and give them a try, and help keep them here. It would be a shame to lose another gem in the Tri Cities. read more

After experiencing another disappointing - dinner at Mezzo Thai Fusion, we decided to try Thai Elephant. I am happy to report success! It was a Saturday night (8:00 PM) .... the restaurant was busy - serving about eight tables of three or more per table .... plus a party of twelve in another part of the restaurant. We were greeted and immediately and taken to our table, given menus and served water. About three minutes later our waiter appeared and asked us if we would like to have something to drink. We ordered a couple of Thai beers and were served within five minutes. Then we ordered "Fresh Salad Rolls (4) for $4.95 and served about five minutes later. We took the advice of fellow YELPER Recommendations and ordered Pork Drunken Noodles ($9.95) and Pang Chicken Curry ($9.95) ... a bowl of rice was included at no extra charge. Kitchen efficiency and waiter service was perfectly timed. We were served our entrees immediately after eating our delicious appetizer. The food was delicious with generous servings. Prices were about 30% to 50% less than Mezzo Thai Fusion. The ambiance of restaurant with its lighting, décor and background jazz music was perfect. We will be back! read more

I eat at this establishment at least twice a month, and every single time I feel welcome and appreciated. I have tried a variety of the menu items and not one has been poorly presented, and everything tastes fresh and amazing! I just have to say, for being one person, Song does a great job of Manning the floor as well as help in the kitchen. I don't know any restaurant owner that works harder, and I never feel neglected. I have to say that place is pretty awesome. Decor, service, food... all impressed. Even the prices were on par. The only thing that left me a little set back was that they failed to put tomatoes in the Tom Kha soup. When I told the waiter about it, he did ask if we wanted more soup, but when we told him no, and that we just wanted to make the chef aware of the fact, he just walked away and said nothing more. Strange that they didn't apologise or offer an explanation as to why. But all in all, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back! read more

Awesome Thai food. My wife and I went for lunch. We had Calamari for an appetizer. The calamari was crisp and fresh tasting with a yummy spicy glaze. She had a pumpkin curry while I had rice noodles with peanut sauce (both with chickent). Both plates had enough food for two people! (Though we both ate all of our food because it was so good, we were both so full we couldn't eat dinner five hours later.) I would recommend this place to anybody. The dining atmosphere is great for dates and there is a good selection of wines. There's also a fair selection of beer. They weren't very busy at lunch time on Saturday so service was prompt and the food was really fast (we waited less than 10 minutes for our entree). This place is still in start up mode so more people need to try it to keep them going. The food is awesome. read more

Really disappointing considering such high ratings from others. The place is very nicely decorated and set ups with white cloth napkins and nice silverware. The menu was moderate - with your classic Thai dishes - red green musaman Panang curries, Pad Thai and Drunken noodles, specials and various appetizers. We had the fried chicken wings, Panang curry, pad Thai, and fish with tamarind sauce. The chicken wings were too crunchy ( almost a hard crust) that was saved only by the store bought chili sauce ( sweet spicy chili sauce in a bottle). Fish with tamarind sauce was a bust. Fried fish was tasty but the tamarind sauce was ???? Seems more like your store bought chili sauce adjusted with ??? Pad Thai - I should have known better- only in Bangkok is it ever good! Panang curry ( level 2 heat ) was excellent. Portions were generous and reflected in the price. read more

I've been here many times before and always get either the Pad Thai or Drunken Noodles. The food has always been good and consistent. Today, the fried fish cake appetizer we got for the first time was inedible. It was so rubbery, it was hard to cut with a knife, let alone chew it. It was very unevenly cooked and dried out, like it was cooked in a microwave. My Pad Thai was overly sweet with very few tiny egg pieces. I picked at it and didn't even take the leftovers home, which I NEVER do. Our server was an angry Asian woman who never came back to check on us. The usual man that works the cash register wasn't there tonight. They had also changed their cloth napkins for paper and they had those cheap chopsticks with splinters. This was such a different experience with rude wait staff that I don't know if we'll be back. read more

Definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in the Tri-Cities (and better than most Thai places I've been in other, bigger cities). This is our go-to place whenever we have a craving, which is about once a week. Whether you dine in or get food to go the service is phenomenal. They are always friendly and are willing to go out of their way to make your experience pleasant. We usually get the salad rolls (which is what I would typically call a spring roll - they have "spring rolls" also which are more like egg rolls in my opinion but that's just semantics) which come with an awesome peanut dipping sauce, along with panang curry and the pad ka-pao. The drunken noodles are also delicious. My wife has recently been cutting meat out of her diet so we get tofu in both main dishes so that we can share. It's always a little crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. They were even nice enough to tell us which dishes had fish sauce so that we could avoid them if we wanted to. I used to get the chicken in the pad ka-pao and was never disappointed. I highly recommend Thai Elephant to anyone who likes Thai food. read more

We really love the food here. I had the Yakisoba noodles which was really mostly chicken and vegetables which was great. My husband had the chicken stir-fry with green beans and he really enjoyed it. The owner's son was able to answer a lot of questions and was able to accommodate my husband's Thai hot food preference. The level 2 spice was perfect for me (enough to get my nose all runny, but not enough to not like the dish, or cry while eating it. And the Thai tea was gigantic. Everything was ON POINT THO! I don't know if he's the owner, but the gentleman server is kind and soft-spoken- he always makes me want to leave him an outrageous and inappropriate tip. haha. Best Thai food in the Tr-Cities. Fast friendly service and large portions. We eat there often, the food is always excellent and we always have enough leftovers for another meal later. One time they included an extra meal to try on our takeout order and now the pumpkin curry has become one of our favorites. Words can't describe how amazing this place was!!! My husband and I started with the appetizer combo platter , all of it was outstanding!!! The spring rolls, the chicken sateh, the royal butterflies, and the coconut shrimp ! The sweet sauce , cabbage salad and the peanut sauce to go with the appetizers were perfect! Their Thai Ice tea is some of the BEST I have ever had!!! For dinner , I had the evil jungle noodle dish and my husband had the drunken noodle dish- both were beyond incredible!!!
