So we have gotten carry out from here twice in the past week. We love Chinese food but have never tried Thai food before so weren't sure what to expect. The first time we got Pad Thai and Cashew chicken both with a heat level of 2 out of 5 and I will tell you we like spicy food but this was unexpected so I can only imagine how hot 3,4,5 would be. So be forewarned. Both were delicious and came with egg/spring rolls which we loved. A disappointment was the cashew chicken should have came with rice but we got none. So that visit was a 4 star visit. The manager was Lucas and he is also related to the owners and he was very helpful while training someone else. Our second visit we encountered friendly staff who were eager to help me and I asked if the cashew chicken comes with rice and I explained last time we got none so they made sure to get us some this time. And it was great. Then we ordered the veggie fried rice and that was some 5 star fried rice. Better than any I have ever eaten. Lots of veggies and they put tomatoes in theirs as well. It was very moist and flavorful and I loved it. Then I ordered the orange chicken which the menu and the staff confirmed it was white meat chicken breast and it turned out to be dark meat thighs which we won't eat so that meal went to the trash can. The sauce on that orange chicken was delicious. So I called back to the restaurant and questioned the chicken and they weren't sure so they asked me to take a pic and send it to them and were going to have Lucas call me and as of this review I haven't heard back from them. I also questioned why we didn't receive the egg rolls this time and they said that was a lunch combo deal and doesn't come with the entree. So you pay more but get less? I definitely recommend trying this place out and for sure get the fried rice and cashew chicken. read more

I was there on opening day, and Thai Isaan is just as good as their sister restaurant (Thai & Go) on the other end of town. I was the only person dining in while I was there, but I saw five or six people come in to get large carry out orders while I was there. I ordered one of my favorites (#30 kra prow) and it was excellent. I really like the larger platters they use here instead of the smaller plates. It makes mixing the sauce and rice much easier. Their sticky rice with mango was great for desert! I'm looking forward to going back again. read more

The first time we tried Thai Isaan we dined inside. It's a smallish but airy dining room with tables but no booths. It is very clean and comfortable and everyone there was helpful, attentive and polite. The food was delicious and about 2/3 the price of some nearby places. Tonight we ordered Pho for delivery and we were really impressed. It's hard to find Pho in Westfield, let alone really good Pho (and delivered as fresh as had we been in store) so we were pleasantly surprised how hot and flavorful it was. I had medium hot and added chicken. It was plenty spicy, the noodles were just the right texture and interacted wonderfully with the broth and flavoring. My husband and I dined here for lunch today for the very first time. From the minute we walked in we were not sure if we should stay. There was one customer waiting for her order and another at the counter looking over the menu. Two workers were present. One continued to stay seated at a table folding napkins. We were told to let her know when we were ready to order. The other server was busy getting carry out orders ready. The person waiting on her order informed us about the lunch menu and where to find it. My husband ordered yellow curry which he enjoyed. I ordered pad se ew which I order at every Thai restaurant. The noodles seemed a little thicker than normal which was fine. However, they were slimy and I could not get past the texture. While sitting there the server, who I asked if she was new (because she was clueless about answers to questions) said she does not normally work at lunchtime. After she brought our lunch she sat back down and continued to fold napkins then look at her phone and rub her index finger and thumb together to get rid of what she found in her nose. She then continued to be engrossed in her phone and began chewing her knuckle. She also took a break for a vape in the bathroom and came out reeking of smoke. The whole experience was awkward.
