You know your girl ordered the pad Thai. I almost felt bad, like a person who has no imagination. There are dozens and dozens of other Thai dishes on the menu at Thai Season, and each of them sounded tasty, but I felt drawn to the pad Thai. I also felt like I had to order it for "the people," meaning you all who are reading this review and looking for good pad Thai. I am always searching for the best pad Thai, and I'm sure others are too, so it felt like a public service. They have some very good pad Thai here at Thai Season. I forgot to order it with steamed rice, like I usually do with pad Thai (carbs on carbs). But even without rice, it was delicious and well-balanced. This pad Thai was not too sweet, which was a blessing. There's nothing worse than a too-sweet pad Thai! (Not really, but you know what I mean.) I ordered it mild, and it was indeed mild. We also got the laad nah, which is broad, flat noodles cooked with cabbage, broccoli, carrots and mushrooms in a brown gravy. It was super tasty, almost like a stew with noodles. It was ordered medium spicy, and I thought it was indeed medium spicy! The spice levels here seem to be right on. The Thai iced tea is great -- sweet and creamy. If you've never had a Thai iced tea, you should definitely try one. The decor and service is top-notch. There's a full bar here, so it seems like a nice place to pop in and get a drink, even if you're not here to eat a full meal. read more

Had an instant craving for good Thai food for dinner, and Thai Season turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with big smiles. The interior has a very calm, zen-like vibe, simple, cute, and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They kept refilling my water so often that I probably drank my entire daily water intake during dinner... not complaining though! Honestly, one of the best service experiences I've had in a while. We started with the shrimp tom yum soup and papaya salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. With a recommendation from the owner, we ordered the shrimp pad thai and pork basil for our main dishes. Great choice, both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. One small detail I really appreciated was the dinnerware. The plates and dishes were beautiful and clearly not the cheap kind you sometimes see. It added a nice touch to the whole dining experience. Great food, excellent service, and as a bonus, the bathroom was clean (which always scores extra points in my book). Free parking is also available. This is my local Thai go to place. The food is never a disappointment but they are just very "business-like" and not warm and fuzzy. Most mom and pops are warm and fuzzy but found out this is a chain owned by one company so it makes sense. The employees are not the owners and it def makes a difference. read more

The food is fresh and delicious and the service impeccable at Thai Season! Lunches include entree, spring roll, soup, and salad. The soup is really lovely with great flavor. The spring roll is crispy with a cabbage filling and a dipping sauce. The salad was just ok (maybe bagged). I had the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp. There is a small up charge for shrimp, but the shrimp were plump and flavorful. Their handmade sauce is light and delightful, not too sweet. I had the medium heat, which was the perfect amount of spice for me. All the vegetables were super fresh (not frozen) and there were a lot of veggies. I loved my entree and would highly recommend. My husband had the Chicken Pad Thai, which is his go-to entree. He devoured his Pad Thai and said it was good. Our server, Matt was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly, water filled and plates cleared. Different people handle the food and money, which is how it should be. The dining room is upscale with a subtle Thai ambiance. The small bar is inviting and the booth seating is comfortable. Soft rock plays overhead. This is a perfect spot for date night. The dining room is immaculate (just as I like). I also had the Wun Sen salad which is one of my favorites and it is especially delicious here. The rest of my little foodie group all enjoyed their meals also. I've been to Thai Season several times now, usually with a couple of friends and once with a large group. Service and food are always excellent. The dining area is attractive, nice decor and comfortable seating I have ordered several different menu items and my favorite is drunken noodles with tofu. The basil fried rice is very good as well, and so is the eggplant lover. My friends have ordered several different entrées and everyone has always been very happy with their food. Very good Thai Restaurant. My wife got the Tom Yum Soup, Chicken. A large was $11.99. She loved it. It had lemon grass, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. She was surprised that it did not come with a side of rice to help with the flavorful broth. But I gave her some of mine so all was right with the world. I got the Thai Basil with chicken for $13.99 and it was very good as well. In fact, it looked so good that I promptly dove right in, forgetting to take a picture! The food was served quickly and was hot and made with fresh ingredients. Service was attentive. The atmosphere is nice. Upscale casual. Our Matters of Taste foodie group came to Thai Season for dinner one night this week and we were very impressed with the food. I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while because everyone spoke very highly of Thai Season. I now know why because the food is wonderful and the service is on point. The ambiance is beautiful with a very nice bar area in the back of the dining room. When we arrived, it was practically empty, and while dining in the restaurant, it did not get too busy as well. We did see a lot of people coming in and picking up carry out orders, so that tells me that is the majority of their sales and business. Regardless, our group did enjoy the dining experience and the service. I ordered hot ginger tea to drink and the ginger love chicken entree for dinner along with the spring rolls appetizer. Everything was terrific!! The spring rolls tasted perfect with the dipping sauce and had a nice texture to them. The ginger love chicken entree tasted incredible with the steamed rice at a medium spicy level. The medium spicy level was hot, so keep in mind if you order food here, think about the spice level you want because medium level is hot. The hot ginger tea was probably the best tea I have ever had in a Thai restaurant. It was excellent and tasted amazing. Everyone in our group loved their food and were impressed with the quality of the food. I do hope Thai Season sticks around for a while because the dining experience was great. It is good that carry out orders keeps them busy and in business, because otherwise, they would not exist anymore. Service very good, polite and very accurate with orders in case there's a little accommodation one wants the kitchen to make. e.g., due to allergies. The dining room is neat 'n clean, and quite pretty -- I could see wanting to extend a lunch hour there, relaxing and finishing up tea. There is no doubt on the freshness and quality ingredients the staff acquires and their kitchen pros use. It all makes for delicious dishes. My nieces recently had a very upsetting experience at this restaurant. They were given the wrong food, and instead of the situation being handled with professionalism, the waitress brought the receipt back to the table and implied that they needed to leave a tip. She even suggested that if they couldn't afford one, they should "do the best they could." This was inappropriate and uncomfortable. A tip is not something customers are forced to give it's meant to show appreciation for good service. Being pressured to leave a tip, especially after receiving the wrong order, is unacceptable. What made the situation even more troubling was the way my nieces were treated. They are young, educated Black women accompanied by their brown friend, and the interaction came across as disrespectful and discriminatory. No one should feel singled out or pressured like this while simply trying to enjoy a meal. Restaurants should focus on correcting mistakes and treating customers with respect not pressuring them about tips. read more

If I was giving this rating just on the decor loan, I would give it a five! Since it's about the total experience, I'm giving it a four because I don't have an option to do 4 1/2. The food is excellent, the pricing is very fair, and if you enjoy soft drinks, these are some of the best price soft drinks I've seen in years. They couldn't answer any questions about food safety for my wife who has celiac disease, so I'm not sure how allergy friendly they are compared to someplace else like Siam Star. But the overall experience was excellent, and I'll definitely be back in the future. They also have great lunch specials. read more

First, the dining area is beautifu, with a brown wood tone, and warm lighting. I liked the touch of (fake) vines and foliage on the lamps and wall near the booth my wife and I were sitting at. I started with the tempura vegetable, and I must say, it was great! super crispy batter that had a texture and crunch like I've never had before. I don't know what they did, but I highly recommend it! My wife had the ...Kae Bee...I forget the name, but it was a rice noodle dish with vegetable. The flavor was outstanding. I had about a third of her meal because it was so good! I got the Penang Curry myself. It was just the right a of spic, and the curry sauce was excellen. I am no Thai food exper, but I greatly enjoyed this meal, and will go again the next time I'm in Carmel. read more

It's a cute little restaurant with a welcoming ambience. We tried their green curry, drunken noodles, crab Rangoon and kids combo meal, and everything was great. I asked them for a bowl to share the curry with my husband and they got a tiny bowl which was disappointing. They charged us 20% gratuity because we were a party of 6 of which 2 were young toddlers who sat in high chairs. Maybe it's a norm, but I just felt strange about it.
