We had fried tofu and crab Rangoon for appetizers. The sauce was so tasty. My entree was Ginger Lover with pork, truly a Ginger lover's delight!!! Other family members enjoyed Tom Kha Soup. We love Thai Station! I went to Thai Station with co-workers during our lunch break. Thai Station provided quick service. We all ordered Chick Pad Thai, their portions are big. They give you egg drop soup, side salad and an egg roll with your meal if you eat at the restaurant. I heard they don't provide the sides if you order take out. Ambiance is cozy, not a terribly big location. Menus could use an upgrade. Over all a cute spot. Give them a visit! read more

This was my first visit to Thai Station. We had great service and the food was very good. Thai Station is in a foodie strip mall across from Keystone at the Crossing. The dining room is small with a bar and about a dozen tables/booths. We were greeted and promptly seated in a booth. Soft rock was playing overhead. The lighting is subdued. We were the first customers of the day. Our server/host was friendly and attentive. Actually, several people waited on us as the staff works as a team. Each server was friendly, water kept filled and food came out quickly. Service was impeccable. The soup that comes with lunch was made with roasted garlic and more flavorful than other Thai restaurants. The soup was light and very good. Entrees came with a spring roll and small salad. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp. The generous portion of Pad Thai was very good and hot (I like hot). The shrimp were cooked perfectly and plump and the green onions were fresh. Order the pad thai! Rice noodles cooked in housemade pad thai sauce stir-fried with eggs, bean sprouts, green onions, and peanuts (I get it without the nuts). We also tried the crab rangoon, which was pretty good, but the veggie spring rolls with housemade sweet and sour sauce really stole the show. Service was great, and the food came out fast, and hot! I'd suggest waiting a moment before biting into the spring rolls, unless you like to live life on the edge. We stopped at Thai Station for dinner on a long drive back home to Alabama from Chicago. We were very pleased and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This restaurant is located in a strip mall with several other yummy-looking restaurants. Parking is adequate. They weren't super busy in the restaurant on a Sunday evening, but they were doing a brisk carryout. We were seated promptly. Everything looked clean and polished, including the single-person woman's restroom. The inside is kind of narrow but features bright and welcoming colors and the aroma of yummy food cooking. Service was timely and pleasant. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken and a Thai tea, while my husband got chicken panang curry, both medium spice. Food came out shockingly fast, especially for how fresh and sizzling hot it was. Overall, everything was quite good. My drunken noodles had a ton of crisp veggies though was maybe a little sparse on chicken. It had a lovely slightly smoky flavor and the noodles were soft without being gummy. Hubs enjoyed the creamy and aromatic panang curry too, though it was a little on the too-sweet side to be quite perfect. The spice level was ideal on his. I could've gone for a little bit more. I ordered thru Doordash and was amazed at how fast my food was delivered - the food was still steaming hot! I ordered a chicken pad thai, tofu tom yum soup, and mango curry with chicken. Even though I ordered all of my dishes with "mild" spice, everything still had a kick to it that was bearable. I was scared to order everything "mild," but luckily flavor was not compromised without the spice! This cute family owned restaurant was across the street from our hotel, and it caught my eye on our last day of the BIG tournament trip. I ordered the Tom Kha soup which was perfectly balanced between creamy coconut milk and spice. The chicken was okay in the soup, but nothing stellar. My entree was Pad Thai with pork which wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, and a very full portion. I got to save my leftovers for breakfast the next morning. Thai Station has lost me as a customer. Their food is so inconsistent. Sometimes it's great - with complex flavors. Sometimes it taste metallic like the tin from their wok has flecked off in the food. This last time I ordered green curry chicken medium spice. When I opened it there was zero spice like they'd forgotten to put it in. I've been ordering from there for two years so I know what their medium taste like. I called to complain, and they said, "If you want it medium you should order a little more spice next time." That's like ordering a burger from McDonald's and it has no pickle, mustard or ketchup. When you complain they say, "If you want those things you should order it next time." No effort to rectify the situation. No apology. I love this place. We were reluctant to try this place as we have a favorite spot on the south side and have yet to find a Tom Yum soup that compares. Well Thai Station is a very close second. It's very flavorful and always has lots of meat (whatever u choose). The pineapple fried rice and basil fried rice are also great. The place is small but a great, clean and welcoming atmosphere. After trying many different Thai restaurants via delivery we found Thai Station to be the best. We finally had a chance to eat there and I'm so glad we did. I forgot to take photos because we randomly ran into some good friends. It's in a shopping center and may not look like much, but the inside is nice and clean. Service was fantastic. The food came out very quickly. We always get the Thai fresh rolls with tofu and they were delicious. They won after tasting the chicken and shrimp ones. We got one of our usuals Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) with chicken. It was even better at the restaurant. It always has a good amount of vegetables for a Thai noodle dish, which I love. We also tried something new, the garlic and pepper stir fry with beef. It was great. On other occasions we've had a few of the curries, which are always delicious. The sweet and sour stir fry with chicken is also fantastic. This should be your go to Thai spot on the Northside! read more

Great spring rolls! However, I found the chicken pad Thai to be incredibly bland. It lacked sauce and really just tasted like plain noodles. The drunken noodles were flavorful with a little spice. My new favorite Thai Restaurant!! I've been twice in less than 2 weeks. The crab Rangoon is my favorite in the city! Both times I ordered fried rice, dumplings, rangoon and Thai iced tea and they were consistent and delicious both times! The service was pretty good especially with the amount of to go orders coming in and out the whole time. There didn't appear to be a ton of staff, but we were well taken care of and didn't have to wait around too long. Thai Station is located in a busy strip mall off of 82nd Street. The location is great as it's easy to access, as there is plenty of shopping nearby. I was not very adventurous, and ordered mild chicken pad Thai. (You can't beat pad thai). The food was outstanding, and tons of flavor came through. My friends and I stopped in here after a long day at a clothing convention. When we walked in we were promptly seated and our waitress came over a few minutes later to get our drink orders. The place was small but cute and had decent decor. After a few more minutes we put our food order in. We ordered the spring rolls, chicken wontons and dumplings as our appetizers. All 3 were amazing. After our appetizers we were served our food and we loved every dish. My friends got all different things and loved them. I got the orange chicken and thought it was one of the better orange chickens I've ever had. I would definitely come back here. The best Thai food in Indy hands down. Anytime I am craving Thai food I always go here even though it's almost a 30 minute drive from where I live. Service is always so quick and friendly. Everything we ordered came out hot and fresh. They do so much takeout so you know it's a good spot! The interior of the restaurant is pretty small but I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. There's small bar section to the right upon entrance. Stumbled on this Thai place while up north. Very small, intimate feel for the restaurant itself. It could maybe hold 10 tables max. They offer carry out as well, as I saw a lot come in for that. We had spring rolls and dumplings for an appetizer. The dumplings were SO good, juicy, and the dumpling part was so soft and tender. The sauce to dip really complimented it. For dinner we had the mango curry (which seemed like a popular option because I heard it recapped in a few to-go orders while I was there). Also got the garlic chicken that came with lots of grilled veggies in a garlic sauce. Both we got med/hot for spice. Everything was so good and full of flavor. Place is fairly new and is making waves already so we had to try them. As usual we started with sweet Thai calamari. The sauce was good even though it wasn't on the side, the calamari were still very crispy. No tentacles unfortunately. Then we had the shrimp blanket. This was new to us and it's just like any spring rolls but with a whole shrimp instead. With or without the sauce, they were enjoyable. Main course: Crab fried rice was very enjoyable. Something about crab meat that makes the fried rice good. Then we had the orange chicken and tilapia. I had to have the sauce on the side for the tilapia as we noticed that most of the food we had were very saucy. It's not bad but I'm not a sauce guy. I think sauce is their main magic but to have everything with it gets old. Good thing you can request to have the sauce on the side. And for drinks, Thai ice tea never fails!! I'll be thinking about the drunken noodles for a looongg time. We were driving down the road thinking about what we wanted for dinner and what did we spy with our little eyes but Thai Station. I have a friend who raves about this place so I knew it was a good choice. We popped in to order carry out and were greeted promptly, reviewed the menu's and placed out order. We started with the Thai Fresh Roll (Rice paper wrap with fresh vegetable and choice of chicken, tofu or shrimp served with peanut sauce and sweet and sour sauce). They were pretty darn good I have to admit. Although I was a little taken aback that it was $7.99 for two small rolls. I tried the Eggplant Lover with chicken (Your choice of meat stir-fried with eggplant carrots, bell peppers, and basil in Thai special brown sauce). and my friend went with the Vegetable Deluxe with chicken (Mixed vegetables: broccoli, carrots, cabbage, green beans, mushrooms, water chestnut, baby corn, bell peppers, onions, celery, beansprout and green onion stir-fried with your choice of meat in a special brown sauce). Both dishes were perfectly prepared and flavorful. so so good. My only reservation is the smaller than normal portions and the pricing on the appetizer being substantially smaller and mover expensive than their competitors. I will definitely be coming back for more of the Eggplant Lovers! read more
