The food was good and the restaurant seemed clean, but the service completely ruined the experience for me. From the moment me and my husband walked in, the server did not seem welcoming at all. When I politely asked about my order, she responded with an attitude that felt dismissive. Throughout our entire visit, she never once checked on our table, yet I saw her checking on other customers. She didn't even say "thank you" or even a smile for the conversation. As a customer, that doesn't sit right with me. Money is hard to earn, and when people choose to spend it at a restaurant, they deserve to feel welcomed and appreciated. Good customer service doesn't require anything extraordinary, just basic courtesy and respect. I've worked as a server before, so I understand that the job can be stressful. We stopped in Noblesville for the night and decided to eat dinner here. What a GREAT decision!!!!! It's located in a small strip mall with plenty of free parking in front. Upon walking in, you truly get the sense that you are in a garden! The walls and ceilings are fully decorated with both artificial greenery and flowers, giving off a very serene feel. I loved it! Delicious Thai Food! My wife and I visited for dinner and Thai Garden greatly exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is thoughtfully decorated, warm, and inviting. The staff are super friendly and the menu has a great selection of both classic Thai dishes and their own Chef's Specialties. I started with the Papaya Salad and it was delicious. It was large with fresh ingredients and big spices. I ordered medium spice and it had the perfect amount of heat. Hot would have been too spicy. The Papaya Salad itself would have been an entree for most people. But, I had to try the Mango Curry (#65 on the Chef's Specials Menu) because I don't believe I've ever previously seen it on a Thai restaurant menu. The dish was excellent! It had large Shrimp, lots of Chicken, and delicious chunks of Mango! I thought they were potatoes at first, but then you bite into them and the mango flavor and texture hits you. One of the best thai places I've ever been to! They have huge portions, so be ready to share or have leftovers. All of their entrees are so flavorful! Highly recommend the classics like fried rice and pad thai, but also give some of their chef specials a try like the taste of tilapia. The service is good, but the restaurant is really small, so it's not the best place for a big group of people. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. There's free parking right outside as well. Stoped in here on a random Tuesday after Christmas. Didn't have reservations but was able to be seated right away. Very cute inside, not super big, but quaint. Our server was very straight to the point, no smiles, no conversation just seating people, taking orders, bringing out orders and handy to go orders. Really good menu and priced reasonable. I had chicken fried rice, it was very good. The rice is very fluffy and moist. While this doesn't seem like a big deal, it kind of is because I've had other fried rice that was very dry. I took my girlfriend here for a date, and while the food was honestly delicious, the service was unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with obvious disdain. Our menus were *thrown* onto the table, and the server just said "go ahead". Meanwhile, everyone around us was being greeted kindly and treated with basic respect. Our waitress didn't look at us once, never checked in, and made us feel completely unwelcome. I even considered asking for the food to-go after we'd already ordered (that's how uncomfortable it was). I was craving fried rice one evening and since there's really no awesome Chinese food in the area that I've found, I stopped here. It's such a cute little place to have a nice meal. 2 stars. Bottom line - Don't waste your time here. It's a small, yet beautifully designed spot where the food, flavors, and service will leave you feeling disappointed. After waiting several weeks for their opening, I decided to stop in for lunch on Saturday. I saw the good reviews and looked over the menu before arriving so I would know exactly what I wanted to try. They have my favorite Prince of Peace ginger tea, but it's $3. That's quite an up charge for a small package that they prolly pay less than $0.10 for. Other places usually sell it for $1.50...that's more reasonable. I passed on the tea and just got water. But my water was cloudy and didn't look appetizing and I never drank it. By the end of my meal, there was a white settlement at the bottom of my glass. When I moved my straw, you could see it swirl. Yuck. The appetizer sampler sounded good, but I couldn't eat all that fried food. (Okay...I could, but I knew I shouldn't!) The table across the restaurant ordered it and it looked like it would be a great option for 2-3 people. Was hoping to do one of the $8.99 lunch specials, but they are only offered Monday thru Friday. I wish that piece of info had been on the menu on the website. Instead, I tried a new dish...Ginger Lovers. It's $11.99, but doesn't come with anything. I'm not a fan of bell peppers, so I asked to sub cabbage. I was told "cabbage doesn't belong in that dish" and that I could only ask for more of something that's already in there. Weird, but okay. The menus listed ginger, carrots, onion, mushroom, and bell pepper. So, I did extra mushroom. She said the 5 spice levels go from mild to Thai hot. I went with mild spice because I just wanted a little heat. After about 15 minutes, the dish arrives at my table...it looked delicious except for the baby corn and water chestnuts! They weren't listed on the menu or I would've asked them to hold those, too. To make matters worse...the food was lukewarm. Some bites were cold. As if it were not heated thoroughly. That was concerning. My server was sitting with another at a back table eating Dairy Queen and I couldn't manage to get her attention. There was one other table dining, so I didn't wanna shout. When she finally came over, I asked about the lack of spice and she explained that "mild means no spice". So, if I asked for it to be "a little spicy" how does that equate to "no spice"? She didn't offer to bring any chili paste or anything...I had to ask another server for it later. I asked if they had a microwave, and she said "yes". So, I asked her to nuke my plate. Well, five minutes later, she returned with my plate. All the little corn and water chestnut pieces I had picked out had been tossed back into my food. But that's not the worst part.... guess what - my food was STILL COLD. Same as it was when she took it away. And I am not one to send my food back, so I took a chance cause I can't eat cold Thai. My server never returned. I sat waiting for my check forever. The girl who was eating Dairy Queen was engaged in convo with the other table. Apparently, she's a frequent customer of their other location somewhere in the city near her job. I finally got her attention and asked for my check. Paid and left. I started feeling ill about 30 minutes later. I don't anticipate returning and I wouldn't recommend you risk your health or wasted your time and money, either. I was looking to get some take out last night. Luckily when I called my sister she was already ordering from Thai Garden and my decision on where to go was easy. No delivery fees when it's family! I didn't have time to look at the menu, so I got a staple, pad Thai with beef, spicy level 4 (of 6), which was extra hot. I only planned on eating half as the portion was quite large. However, as I got into it, I kept saying to myself, out loud, to no one else in the room, "this is the best pad Thai I've ever had."
