The service is incredibly personalized--everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely joyful. It really feels like they care about your experience, which keeps us coming back. I ordered the Kee Mao (chicken chow mein again), and it was fresh and excellent as always. My wife had the delicious salad rolls, and we also tried the fried banana dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish--light, warm, and delicious. We've eaten at a lot of Thai and Chinese spots around Portland, Happy Valley, Clackamas, and Gresham, but every time we come back here, we're reminded how consistently fresh and well-prepared everything is. You can really taste the care that goes into the food. I also love their curries, and the barbecue pork plate is another great option we come back to from time to time. The pineapple fried rice--with cashews--is also a standout. Honestly, everything we've tried has been great. Next time, I'm planning to branch out and try something new--but it's hard when everything here is so good.

We had several questions when choosing which dishes to order and she patiently helped us choose. We ordered a variety of dishes with pork, chicken and crab. Everything was very good! The dishes have great flavors, prepared perfectly and served hot. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. There's a nice variety of dishes, sides, appetizers and drinks to choose from. There's plenty of parking in the large parking lot. Our go to order is pad Thai with shrimp, cashew nut with chicken, mango sticky rice, spring rolls and tempura shrimp. Never disappointed and we get 2 meals out of it! Done well, as Krua does, the flavors are fare more complex and have a far greater depth than you'd expect, and I still have no idea HOW they do it. Parking at Corner 14 is just awful, and despite each table having a tabletop propane fire, it can be miserably cold. If you can eat inside, it's generally a better choice. If you do go to Corner 14, be sure to give Krua a try! You can't go wrong.

I know that SE asians are sweet to profile us pale people as no heat, but I was really looking forward to spice.... So for next time I will request heat added as I am a non-practicing alabaster person. To be fair, every fair complexion person with a togo order clarified that their food was "non spicy." We also love the pho here. The broth is so flavorful and the meats and noodles are all good quality. They've even added soy sauce to their condiment selection! We love the spicy sauce they serve at the table as well. It gives the pho the perfect added spice. They've added a selection of desserts to choose from now. We recently tried the creme brûlée and it was very good. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. They will check in at tables regularly. It's a clean restaurant with nice decor and seating. Give them a try. There's sure to be something on the large menu for everyone.
