Exactly what I was hoping for. I usually order Thai Spicy levels of spice but this was my first time trying Thai Time so I went with just Very Spicy and it's PERFECT. Both dishes are SO tasty. The basil dish is a taaaad bit oversalted but I don't really mind. The sticky rice is a tiny bit crunchy on the outside? Not sure how that happened but again, don't mind altogether much. My co workers and I decided to come here for lunch one day. The service has always been spectacular and upnotch. We appreciate the speediness because we only have a short amount of time to eat lunch. We each ordered our own dish and they all came out at the same time. Thank you the kitchen staff for their immaculate timing. Our food was so good. Hits the spot every time!! Really friendly & amazingly fast, especially considering the quality!!! This is clearly a smooth operation, prep is done & they are ready! Today I walked in, asked for some customization (happily pay, it's rude to expect NOT to when adding to your order people) anyhow it's perfection in my mouth, and they had me out the door within 5 minutes!!! I have been to this location to dine and also have had food delivered. They pack the food tightly so that soups and curry do not spill out. The food is great! Do I dare say that I think they give more food when you order delivery? Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like so much food! I always ask for the spice level to be medium, which is still a bit spicy, but that's how I like it. Any higher and I'll be burning up! My recommendations is based on what I have had. Massaman Curry with chicken Pad Thai with Chicken Tom Kha Soup with Chicken (honestly, this could be a meal in itself) Pork Pot Stickers I definitely recommend this place. I came here for lunch because of its great Yelp reviews! The outside kind of fools you into thinking it's a messy, unhygienic place, but inside, it was spacious and clean-looking! When I went, the wait staff consisted of just one young lady, who was very friendly and attentive! The iced Thai tea was spot on, as in most places I have visited! For appetizer, I ordered the Thai Curry puff(5 pieces), which came hot & fresh! It's just the perfect crunch. Then, for the main course, I ordered seafood pad Thai. I've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants here in the Portland metro area in the past 20 years. I may be missing a few of the lesser known or advertised spots, but for the proximity to my house, service and food quality, Thai Time here in Vancouver is very hard to beat. I have been eating the same 5 dishes here without fail or variation and the food is consistently delicious. You get what you pay for...and what you pay for is quality ingredients and ample quantity. Highly recommended....the standout dish for me and everyone I've introduced is Crying Tiger....delicious grilled ribeye, jasmine rice, sauce, cucumber and pineapple. Simple and incredibly delicious. Go ahead and try the Basil Fried (Pad Krapow or whatever it's called at your local spot) along with the Pad Thai or Pad See Ew and you won't be disappointed. Their crying tiger used to be one of my favorite dishes in town, but the quality has taken a nosedive. The last time I ordered it, I couldn't even recognize it as ribeye steak. No flavor, low quality meat, overcooked (ordered medium rare)... hard pass for me in the future! Well, I think I have found my most favorite Thai place in Vancouver.. finally! I think this place has only been around for a couple of years now? But I wish I would've stopped in before today! I had the salad rolls along with their wonderful peanut and plum sauce. I ordered just veggie rolls instead of having shrimp or tofu and they were so good! It's sort of rare to find pieces of cucumbers in salad rolls for some reason. I also ordered the pad khee mao, also known as drunken noodles. It was wonderful! Cooked and flavored perfectly! Excellent! Found in a small strip mall off of 12th in Vancouver. An unlikely location for a delicious and nice atmosphere to dine. I have driven by many times and never noticed this place. Sometimes when you see a sign of business, if the surroundings are questionable you don't stop. My friend took me here and when we walked in, I was very impressed. An industrial feel of decor and clean. Greeted by 2 employees. We had our choice of seating. Water and menus quickly served. I didn't get to see the whole menu, because the Eggplant Chicken and Shrimp dish immediately caught my attention. So delicious and very impressed. I have eaten here several times and tried a few dishes. The pineapple fried rice was ok. The calamari was tough and very chewy. I would avoid this. Definitely frozen and possibly old calamari. The panang curry is pretty good along with the tom yum soup. The thai iced tea was delicious as good as non-noms. The salad rolls were good but the shrimp was over cooked. And the shrimp was over cooked in the tom yum soup. Obviously they have an issue cooking shrimp. Overall I would recommend this place. Their prices are a bit high. Thai Wok kitchen has better food cheaper prices. Non-noms on C Street does excellent Thai as well but a smaller Thai menu than here. I will say their peanut sauce is excellent! read more

Based on the other reviews, I popped into this nice, tucked-away eatery for take out. It is small, but has a warm, cozy vibe. Toward the back of the restaurant is a cute bar. The staff are friendly and professional and the space is very clean (the chefs wear masks and hairnets...I never see that anymore). I always order the chicken pad Thai whenever I try a new Thai restaurant and their version was yummy. The portions are ample, with plenty of moist chicken and it arrives piping hot. I also ordered a side of crispy egg rolls that were tender and crunchy. Most places give you three in an order, here, they serve four. I only visit Vancouver once a year but every time I'm in town, I need to get food at Thai Time. So glad to have found a Thai restaurant with so many gluten free options, and they are all delicious!
