We came here because another restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. We walked in. It was totally empty. I see there hasn't been a review in a while. I have to say the food was really good. We had the curry puffs, which were flaky, hot and delicious! We had the fat noodle pad Thai with chicken and it had a delicious smoky taste that I've never had before we also got the Thai fried rice with shrimp and the shrimp were cooked perfectly not overcooked and really big! The portions were big enough, but according to all of the reviews, people think it is a small portion, but it is not a small portion we had to take a third of our rice and a third of our pad Thai home The only negative, is the frozen mixed vegetables. Fresh onions and fresh cilantro, but bagged up frozen peas corn and carrots. Go check this place out! read more

This little eatery in a strip mall isn't fancy, but serves solid Thai fare. I always order Pad Thai at a new Thai restaurant and it was very good, although did not stand out among other restaurants in the area. Hub had the yellow curry and it was also tasty. We also ordered an app of crispy egg rolls. Both dishes were freshly prepared and ample. The egg rolls were very slim and a little over priced at $8.00 for 4. The total bill came to $46. before tip. We were quite happy. Everything was fresh, and staff were super attentive with even the small details. The highlights were the papaya salad and the fried rice, but we also enjoyed the salmon curry, fried pumpkin, and several other dishes. I hade a great lunch at Sri Thai yesterday. Our server, Michael, was very attentive without hovering. I've eaten there at least six times with different friends. Everyone of us thought that the food was superior to some other Thai restaurants. It's a small place, so nice and quiet. Best fresh spring rolls ever. Their green curry is one of my favorites. Having had some STUNNINGLY great Thai food, Sri's is pretty disappointing. The flavors here in comparison to most other Thai restaurants I've attended are pretty muted. The menu is large, though, with a wide variety of dishes. Ambiance is bright and open, and service is prompt and friendly. Curiously, there were no paper towels in the restroom, but the very friendly and professional waiter announced, "those are extra napkins since there are no towels" pointing to the napkins he'd just placed on my table. This was nice, but still odd that they just didn't put napkins in the restroom of replenish the towels. Parking is ample, and the lot has easy ingress and egress. If you're in the neighborhood and are dying for Thai food, Sri may fill the need, but I'd not recommend it as a destination in and of itself. read more

The servers here are so attentive, genuine, and professional. This was the best experience I've had with wait staff in a very long time, anywhere. We ordered the Mango Chicken, Green Curry, Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai, & the Pineapple Curry. Every dish was beautifully plated, fragrant, & flavorful. The Pad Thai & Pineapple Curry will be my new go-tos for date nights in the future. The mango sticky rice wrapped it all up with a not-too-sweet bow. Wow! I have been missing out! I need to make Vancouver my destination for great Thai food! I was just over the bridge from Portland and decided to try a new place rather than my usual spots in Portland. So happy I did Sri Thai Cuisine is the best I have had! The service is excellent; promptly greeted and searted with a smile upon entering. Ice water served after sitting along with the menu. They move fast! I ordered the papaya salad - hot spice, delicious! This is how papaya salad should be! Also, I had the green curry with chicken! OMG! Thick, creamy curry filled, i mean filled with chicken, eggplant, bamboo shoots, basil - lots of basil (can you imagine the flavor?). The restaurant is has a casual atmosphere, normal noise level but nice decor! I would take a date here, Came back a week later and tried their drunken noodles, not so good compared to other places I frequent. Thats how it goes sometimes some dishes are better, some are not. This place was just ok. I came in and got an order of the #36 the Pad ke Mao and the veggie rolls with shrimp. The food came out pretty fast in about less than 10 mins and I was on my way home. I ate one of the shrimp veggie rolls on my way home. It was really good with the warm peanut sauce. I got home and ate the pad ke mao. I was surprised as there was not alot of food there. I mean other places pole on the noodles. There was only 1 cherry tomatoe in it. But it did have a lot of other veggies tho. The chicken meat was kind of dry and I was surprised because there was actually a lot of chicken. Overall I have had better pad ke mao elsewhere but, I wanted to check this place out for awhile now. A great lunch at a nice place. Sri Thai was decorative and clean. Sri Thai did not disappoint. The service was great, never had to wait. The waitress was very helpful in explaining what ingredients our plates had. I had the Eggplant in a red curry sauce. It was delicious! We have been coming here for years. We live in Oregon. Yesterday we came around noon. There was not 1 person dining. Usually it is pretty busy. My husband ordered a Thai coffee. Tasted like old bitter coffee. Sad that I can make a better Thai coffee and I am not Thai. My husband had the mango chicken. He was asked how spicy? He said medium. It was covered with very hot red pepper. He said it was so hot he couldn't taste the food. I ordered the FRESH spring rolls with shrimp. The presentation looked ok. The shredded purple cabbage was pretty brown. I usually eat the garnish. I bit into the spring roll. It was like mush. It tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for a week gathering all the other odors from ​the leftover food. The lettuce was finely shredded and brownish and wrapped around a larger piece of lettuce. The shrimp was pretty mealy. I sent the spring rolls back. I also ordered some pot stickers. They were pretty tasty but a bit over cooked. All in all. We were pretty disappointed in a place that we made as a destination. Not sure what happened. Decided to try this place out tonight since our favorite Thai place is closed for renovations and I am so glad we did! We had such a warm and welcoming greeting as soon as we walked in. The place was nice, clean and not too big. Nice pictures on the walls. They are located behind right next to a sushi place and Angel's Donuts, with their own parking lot. The food was delicious, flavorful and big portions. We ordered the combination fried rice, chicken wontons, Tom yum noodle soup, and the minced chicken and shrimp with crispy Basil dish. Im tired of getting ripped off when I go to Thai restaurants and this place rips you off. $17 for small portions and leaving hungry pisses me off. Buathong Thai serves 2.5x the amount of food for the same price. It's actually hard to finish their entrees and the amount yiu take home to go is the same size as Sri Thai entree. I also asked for Thai chillies and was told by the server they don't carry Thai chillies what kinda Thi food place doesnt carry Thai chillies its disgraceful. The server was up front and very honest and was respectful when I told him this business is ripping people off and that I wouldn't return. I also gave 2 places who serve outstanding Thai food 1: Buathong Thai and 2: Thai Bloom and told him to tell the owner to go eat at both places to reevaluate his own food and prices. This was our second time trying Thai in the Vancouver area. It was decent. The restaurant is located in the ever popular Vancouver Mall area. We ordered online and picked up an order of chicken pad thai and a tofu pad see ew for me. I can't speak for the service or even on the inside of this place since my bf went inside to get it while I parked. The portions are generous compared to other places we've been and plastic containers are great for holding garbage you won't be able to get rid of until Friday (our pickup day). Unfortunately, our love of Bowl Thai and Manaow makes for a tough comparison. I tried both dishes and they're good but there's nothing to really savor. We added the spring rolls and that meant our dinner cost around $44 with tip. That's 2023 cost of living. We'll keep exploring. So far the Vancouver food scene appears limited sadly. read more

First time customer & won't be back!! Wanted to like them because they offer lemongrass chicken but we're left feeling disappointed with our meal. We ordered our food to go, here is our review of each item. -Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai, chicken was diced and rubbery, it was not a grilled chicken breast fillet as expected. When you order LGC you pay more for quality and that's not what we got. Mussaman Chicken Curry, the sauce was bland, we even ordered mild. My biggest complaint was the sauce was runny, it was very thin almost like broth and hardly any peanuts could be found. Fresh tofu spring rolls, 90% lettuce, 2 pieces of tofu and they forgot our peanut dipping sauce!!! Major fail!! Again, we ordered to go so we didn't notice until we got home they didn't give us any peanut sauce! We had a literal complaint with each item we ordered, therefore I don't recommend you spend your hard earned money here. Eating out, even takeout isn't cheap these days as we spent $50 with no drinks or service! It's hard to keep spending money on eating out when you don't enjoy your meal. My advice, dine elsewhere. Perfectly acceptable Thai food, generally seasoned to be palatable for Americans, e.g, the larb is heavily lime flavored with very little fish sauce flavor, dishes aren't very spicy even if you ask for them to be very spicy, etc. If that's what you're looking for, the food is quite tasty for what it is. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if I'm in the neighborhood, it's a decent place to grab some take out. One caveat is that the beef in a lot of their dishes is extremely tough, as in, tougher than beef jerky. It seems like they use a cut of beef that should really be used in stews and they just stir fry it? Very odd. The chicken is generally reasonably prepared, whether you get it as a satay or in a dish, but the beef dishes are really hit or miss. read more

Cashier did give me some spice at checkout so I could remedy that, so wasn't a deal breaker. I'd rather add spice then get it too spicy. Good flavor. I'd try the dish again as well as other menu items but the Verdict is still out on how great they are. Potential. I wont keep going if they burn food often. But likely just a fluke. I drive by here a lot and had never stopped in, and I'm very happy I did today! I went in for a late lunch with my partner. The service was fast and the menu was decently extensive. My partner got the crispy rolls and an entree I didn't overhear the name of. I got the fresh rolls with shrimp and the pad prik khing. The fresh rolls were a star here. The rice paper was tender and not chewy, they had very fresh herbs in them, and the vegetables were crisp. The entree had a wonderful flavored sauce with very tender chicken and the rice was cooked flawlessly. We will definitely be back :) read more

First new spot of the new year! Our regular spot was closed Sunday so we took it as a sign to finally try this place. We were seated right away. We ordered the crispy basil chicken shrimp, beef salad, and a cup of Tom Kha. The food came out within 10 minutes, and it was delicious! The cripsy basil came out perfect and not soggy. Tom Kha had a lot of flavor. The beef salad was great but could use more of that dressing! The ambience is homey in a way, there's still a 2020 calendar up and we thought it was funny and relatable somehow. Great service. We'll be back! read more

This place was recommended as one of the best places one of our friends had tried pad Thai at, so we gave it a try! And indeed, our dinner was delicious! We began our dinner with some Calamari. It was Crunchy/fried on the outside- nice and flavor-filled over all with some delicious dipping sauces. The kitchen accommodated my dietary needs. My friends ordered a curry and noodle soup, both expressing how good it was, even saying the noodle soup was better than what they had on a trip to LA. We went for supper here last night. It was not are first choice....but both of the other places we wanted to go to were closed. I had read all the fantastic reviews for this place. So I made the suggestion to go here. My friend really didn't want to. But I assured them that it will be good I've read so many good reviews about how good the food is. We both order papaya salads, and I got red curry with veggies and my friend got pad Thai with glass noodles seafood combo. The papaya salads were too salty idk what it was and it had no limes My curry was the consistency of pancake batter and the veggies were all cut up so small that by the time I pulled them out of the curry they were wilted and not good. The curry itself was heavy and sweet. I was hoping for a light healthy red curry that I've had at other Thai restaurants..also in addition to the veggies being over cooked ; it was mostly thinly sliced bamboo shoots I'll provide a photo. It was just awful I left most of it on the table. My friend was at least eating his noodles but he said their was too much grease and it tasted like they used old oil and remarked that this was one place he didn't want to return to. Their you have it. No fun giving one star reviews. But I feel it's necessary to share the great ones as well as the not so great ones. I wish Sri Thai many of Gods blessings for the future. Service was very nice. Food not good. The crab puffs were frozen and had a very fishy taste. The Pad Wen Su we ordered was tasteless. No heat, no salt, no herbiness. We didn't eat the PAd Wen Su and didn't pay for it after speaking with our server. After asking about what they could change on it the person gave a very defeated response which makes me think there's a new chef in the kitchen who's not going to make it.
