I don't normally go out of my way to leave reviews, but this place was very kind. I got the Pad Khee Mao and Pork Gyo-Za, both of which were great dishes. My phone died just as I rolled up on this restaurant so I didn't have the benefit of any Yelpy research. If I had read the reviews I probably would have skipped it. On the plus side the service was friendly, the portions were large, and my dinner was served hot. But these people have a transparently naked love affair with sugar. Things that are never sweet at other restaurants, things that have no business being sweet anywhere are sweet here. And their Thai tea is a massive, Thai flavored sugar bomb. The Thai tea was ok and it had a nice portion. I ordered the vegetable Thai curry meal. The curry sauce tasted okay;but,the vegetables weren't. The vegetables included celery ( I hate celery), bits of broccoli, tomato, green onion, onion, bell pepper, mushroom, and cabbage. I think that the vegetables needed to be different. Food was bad. My chicken pad thai had raw chicken. Egg roles and shrimp roles were so greasy that by the time we got them back to the room, they turned to moosh. Sad! read more

So I order this soup the first time I go there and it was amazing. So I call in and order the same thing three time now and not once has it been the same thing. Three times now three different broths three different noodles. I have know idea what is going on but they must be simple. I just keep hoping that I get the first soup that I had. HORRIBLE!! Do not waste your time here. As a person who has tried Thai food all over the country, including actually being in Thailand. I can say with out a doubt this place is a sorry excuse for Thai food. Nothing about the food speaks Thai food. The rice is old and not even close to being fried rice. I ordered some beef Thai food and wanted for it to be a little more spicy, all I got was powdered red pepper sprinkled on to it from a bottle. The Thai tea was super sweet and I can taste the tap water used for it. My sons mother ordered the Mongolian beef and it came out looking more like soup instead of a pan fried meal. The beef was cheap, tough meat. I'm hoping I don't end up with food poisoning when I leave this place. Do not waste your time here. You are warned. read more

Anyone who knows or appreciates Asian food need not come here. The flavor is more bland with some salt, the steam rice looks like Uncle Ben's, My poorly flavored meal cost me $11.37, considering the taste, I'm not impressed. Id rather eat microwave Asian food from a grocery store than ever eat here again. You're better off driving to Sunray and eating at the Thai Chinese restaurant on the left side as soon as you drive in to town -- that place is way better. read more

My mother and husband had to wait in line for an hour to get our food. The combination fried rice is more like overcooked mushy rice with two pieces of beef, chicken and shrimp in it. The best part of the meal was the egg rolls and that's probably because they come out of a box. We will not be ordering from here again. read more

You know without being overly critical I will have to agree with just about everybody else on this place. The people are great. But perhaps they could open up a dry cleaning store or rent to own or something else besides a restaurant. Or at the very least rename the place soups R Us. That's because everything you get will be a soup. Everything is far too sweet with everything you eat tasting like a candy bar. I wanted to do cartwheels in the parking lot when I left this place I ate so much sugar. The shrimp rolls that I ordered were so overcooked they looked and tasted like cardboard. We live in a small town on the board of New Mexico and Texas. We don't have any Chinese food. So we went to Dumas, TX and found this place. At first, we thought well, usually good is good at a hole in the wall. The food started out ok, until I found a piece of broken glass from a plate in my chicken fried rice! The worst Thai food I have ever bought! It's Mexican food being passed off as Thai! Besides being overpriced it's not very good Mexican food the rice was clumpy the calamari was tough and chewy the chow mein was ramen noodles! Don't go there! read more

I have never had a bad meal here or been disappointed in any way(except when they're out of my fave bubble tea flavor). I've eaten at this place the majority of my life and it has always been consistent. I have eaten at a plethora of other Thai restaurants in bigger cities in all kinds of price ranges. This one still ranks up there in the top for me as the flavors and quality match those other places. read more

For a small country town, this Thai wasn't bad! We were driving through to Colorado and craving Thai thinking there was no way we'd find it. But then there was Thai Siam! The girls up front taking our to-go order were sooooo sweet and helpful. The food wasn't the best Thai I've ever had, but it was very good quality and totally gave us our fix. We had the yellow curry and the pad Thai. One recommendation though would be that they need to ask for spicy levels. Neither dish had any spice at all and we like it with a kick. read more

Officially the worst place to eat in Dumas. The waitress was great but the food was bland and watery for lad na combo noodles, my wife and daughter's food was over cooked, the fried rice we ordered was nothing more than steamed rice that was repurposed with egg and soy sauce. We ate there 5 years ago, took a chance and will never eat there again. I've eaten Lao and Thai food almost all my life, that food was not even close to Asian. read more

I do not like the food here. Bad taste, definitely not real Thai. Fried rice is disappointing.

I wish there was 3.5 stars because it's better than 3. First of all, it's a dive. Not surprising for the panhandle, but no decor to speak of. The menu is written in a way that throws you off. They don't list things as most Thai restaurants would such as green curry, red curry, etc, so ordering is a confusing process. They also had many Chinese dishes featured instead of Thai. I finally just asked them if they yellow chicken curry and told them what I wanted in it, and that worked. The service was extremely slow - only one kitchen worker and one waitress/hostess/cashier. My party had 2 people and one meal came out 5 minutes before the other - odd! The food though, was excellent. I tried their fried rice, which was way above average, and the yellow chicken curry with onions, carrots and a few asian veggies was outstanding. I recommend this place if you have patience and are craving Thai in a very out of the way locale. read more

I really like their lemon chicken. Tender individual chicken tenders. I get the sauce in the side to dip them. I like the Charlie's Special too. They have had an issue with flies at one time in the first dinning room. But, last time we went, the flies were gone. read more

This is not to be missed. Made fresh while you wait. I ve had the Pad Thai, and many of the special...its legit...and compares to anything in Dallas, Lubbock, Houston, or Amarillo. Make a point to hit this spot if going through Dumas. read more

We were driving through on our way to Colo. Not many choices and we love Thai so we decided it could b our best option. We liked the chicken panang. The flavor was as good as anywhere we've had it. Pretty simple just with peppers. The cashew chicken was okay. If you want veggies maybe order a side. The Thai ice tea was not great. The waitress was sweet and efficient. The combination fried rice is pretty tasty. The portion sizes are huge. Just an okay ratio of meat and vegetable to rice. The menu has great variety. Not a huge fan of their orange beef though. It's super oily and sweet. It takes a while to get your order but it wasn't unbearably long. The Thai tea here is decent at best. Order sticky rice and chicken. Got home to find a cockroach in my sticky rice. I called to let them know and got the following response. "Oh, really?? Do you want to come back and get something else?" I declined, and will be going for a refund. read more
