No gluten free menu although it is stated on the menu to ask. The duck and wonton soup tasted more like wet lettuce and water with super bland noodles. There was a little duck and only one wonton. Usually they ask about how spicy something should be served but the server didn't. My date's Panang Curry came out super hot and apparently had no peanut flavor to it. I was bit unsure about this place at first, seeing as the place is very dim and the decor is awful. They have some strings with decor hanging from the ceiling and it is pretty tacky. The pictures on the wall with the young Thai girls are great, but the rest of the decor makes the place feel very dim and run down. However, the owner (and chef) was very attentive. I asked him for help on choosing what to eat seeing I had never tried Thai before. When I had selected the Crying Tiger Steak, I was pleased to find out that he would cook the food to the requested spiciness. My boyfriend ordered sesame chicken with chow mein. My grandfather ordered beef and broccoli. Everything came out insanely fresh and hot. I sampled the Sesame chicken and it was good, maybe a bit bland, but the rice mixed with the sauce was surprisingly good. The breading on the chicken was good. The Chow Mein was good as well. My steak came to the table on a steaming plate and was literally cooking as I ate it. It was cooked just right, and had obviously been marinated long enough for the flavour to set in. The spices over the top were just right, not too hot at all for me! I actually took the jucies and steak and mixed it in the rice, it was just too good. I took that home with me. Food is average Thai food. First time I went, it was decent, and the second time it was just okay. I got pad Thai the second time. It smelled weird and tasted okay. I will not be going back. The high inflated prices (which are much higher than the prices on the pictures of the menu online) are not worth the level of quality you get. There are places with better reviews in town that I will try. Even though I am less than 5 minutes away from Thai Spice, I would rather drive to Lebanon to Bangkok Pad Thai than eat here again. That is the best Thai food I have ever found and the prices are so much better that I would probably save money burning the gas to go out to Lebanon. read more

One of my all time favorites in Murfreesboro! Best Tom Kha Gai soup in town. I also love the Pad Ka Pow Beef dish with the fried egg on top. The food is fresh and hot and consistently delicious. This place is a no brainer if you want great Thai food. My only wish is that it were closer to my place. But if your visiting MTSU for any reason, these guys are just around the corner. When I went in today, there were no customers in the dining room, and 6 of their 11 tables had dirty dishes on them. Since they remodeled, it looks nice, but they need to clean more often. I just recently moved to Murfreesboro from boring old Gordonsville in the middle of March. After I moved in, Chris told me there was a good Thai restaurant just around the corner from where I now live, so we went for dinner. I got the BBQ Pork and Wonton Soup. It is so delicious with perfect spices and flavors. It was so good that I went again two days later after work when I was feeling sick. I also got wontons as an appetizer my second visit. In fact, they had made two servings of wontons and gave the second serving to me for free to take home. I went again just last night and it was just as delicious. My husband and I were craving bubble tea, so we ordered some to-go. It took a total of 40 minutes to get our order. The waitress did not let us know that they didn't have any bubbles ready and would have to cook some. Usually, restaurants let you know these things ahead of time to see if you still want to order that. So, I waited with my screaming baby in the car while Hubby waited inside. After about 20 minutes, he asked her if the teas were ready and that's when she mentioned having to cook the bubbles. The restaurant was not busy at all. So, when she gave him the teas, they had chunks of ice in them and maybe 5 bubbles in each tea. We were so upset because we had wasted all that time. The waitress didn't even seem apologetic about our wait. We will not be returning here. I recommend Taste of Thai...friendlier staff and better food (including bubble tea!) read more

Pad thai is sweeter than most but almost always the portions are generous. They offer gluten free rice and general tsos and have other vegetarians options. I ordered delivery from here and not only did I have to go pick up my room temperature food myself after waiting for an hour and a half, but the girl who took my order lied to my girlfriend over the phone and said that it was already out for delivery before I even got into the restaurant. I waited an hour after I placed my order, then I called back to check on the status. A man answers the phone and asks me to hold while he finds the girl who took my order. He puts the phone down and I can hear background noise for over 10 minutes before I hang up. I tried calling back multiple times, but it was busy (I assumed because the phone was still sitting off the hook). Finally, I decided to just drive there to see what's going on because I was starving. When I get there, I see a younger girl busing a table, not looking very busy. I speak to the man behind the counter and he says to the girl, "I told you to answer the phone!" and she walks away. He goes to the back and grabs my food off the counter and I pay for it. As I'm getting in my car, I notice a text from my girlfriend that says she got through to the restaurant and the girl who took our order told her that the delivery guy was already out with our food and should be there any minute.
