    Pad Thai

This was my first time at this restaurant. We went during the lunch hour, and luckily, it wasn't too busy. I enjoyed the starter soup, but I wasn't a fan of my main dish, the Pad Thai. It was too saucy and a bit too sweet for my liking. I have heard good things about this place, so I am hoping for a better experience during my next visit.

Our go-option for Thai has only got better with the best lunch deal in the city. For under eight bucks you get a choice of entree--green curry with chicken at number 3 hot please--a spring egg roll and cup of chicken soup. Also recommended: the drunken noddles or the Pad Thai. Be patient--everything is prepared to order. And be warned: three hot brings the heat; four hot is too much for me; and five hot--can't imagine that. Clean, casual and even a bit oddly decorated. Located in the town's first shopping center from 1960, there's always plenty of parking.

Wow...where to start...this place is, in a word: FANTASTIC. The waitress was super friendly and accommodated everything we asked for and even made suggestions that uncovered things we didn't even know we wanted. While everything was delicious the "egg drop, sweet and spicy" soup was absolutely amazing. It's the house soup on Fridays only but well worth the wait. I don't rate 5 often but this place earns every star...my only regret is that I can't rate them 6 stars

Currently they are only offering delivery and takeout. I called in a take it order and it was ready in 5 mins! They have a window right inside where you can pay and pickup your food so there is very little interaction with staff or other customers. I ordered the vegetable pad thai and it was absolutely delicious. It included large chunks of onions, green beans and carrots. The pad thai it's self was not overly sweet (my favorite) and was very saucy!

I finally took the time to try Thai Pattaya, which I have been wanting to do for years. The problem is, when you find one or two really good places, it's hard to go anywhere else. But I bit the bullet and pulled the trigger tonight. I will say however, that I ordered to go instead of eating there because it was late and I wanted to get home and relax after a long day. Unfortunately, I wasn't as impressed as I was hoping to be. First, I was disappointed with the portion of the Thai Beef salad - it was puny. Second, the flavor just wasn't there for me. The beef salad was quite bland, the peanut sauce for the chicken satay had little peanut flavor and tasted watered down, and the Tom Kha Soup had a weak flavor too. I really hate to give anyone a 3 star rating, but I also hate wasting money on subpar tasting food. I wish this place great success, but I think I'll stick with the two or three places I frequent from now on.

Love, love, love this place! Specifically I love their drunken noodles with chicken, their crab rangoons, and the veggie egg rolls. I can't speak on anything outside of those menu items, but for what I order, everything is made fresh is well seasoned, and delivered to my table hot! The servers are always quick and very kind.

Awesome find! The service was very good, very friendly. I had the Sassy Curry with tofu. Tasty!! Hubby had the Spicy Mango Basil. I tried it and the mango/basil blend was different and nice. I wouldn't think of combining the two. Casual. I recommend!

The most beautiful bowl of Pho I've ever been served (see photos). Carrots, peppers, onions & a sprinkle of ground peanuts on top (of course you can order without & they do ask while ordering whether you want everything that it comes with). I also appreciate that they strip their chicken/beef into sections so that it's not just one or two big chunks. They don't serve sake, which is a con for me but they do have a beer selection. Service was great, fast & friendly. The location is a little obscure - I've lived in Mboro for years & never knew this was here until recently. Will definitely be back to try the curry & Pad Kra Pao.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted, my drink order was taken and I was reading a menu, right away I knew I had to try the Thai basil fried chicken with fried rice. I was soooooooo right! Hahaha! Because everything was cooked to order I had to wait which was fine as I was done driving for the day. When my food finally arrived the smell made me so happy, now I don't usually make happy sounds when I'm eating but I'm almost sure that I was this day. LOL! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the breading was light yet crispy and the bed of pickled veggies were an excellent addition. I think it came with six pieces of chicken, and the fried rice was a small up charge but well worth it. Light, fluffy, full or flavor, not oily and enough to take some home for later. So yourself a favor and check this place out if you are in the area and tip generously.

This was the first time that I get the option to select the milk in the Thai Iced Tea and I loved that. I opted for the coconut milk and it gave the drink an amazing creamy consistency. The curry puffs were packed with flavor, they are a great option to share with the table since they are vegan. The crab Rangoons were crispy, cheesy in the middle, and the homemade sweet & sour sauce complemented it very well. For the main course I went with the Beef Drunken Noodles level 2 in spice level. The flat rice noodles were soft coated in a savory brown sauce that paired really good with the broccoli, basil, peppers, onion, and jalapeños. Overall I was very satisfied with everything and plan to be back.

First time the service was horrendous the food was borderline and nothing appears to be authentic Thai. After the waiter kid stared at my plates on the kitchen window for about 10 minutes he finally brought them to me I'm sitting at the bar watching him watch my food motionless also apparently needing a reboot. The noodles on the plate were one solid clump that I picked up with my fork in one go and the green Thai curry was terrible. There is also no excuse for such pathetic service when there was maybe 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. I was stuck in the restaurant an hour and a half due to completely oblivious and incompetent employees. When I eat out by myself I would normally get in and out of a restaurant within 30 minutes (45 minutes would be a long stay) today I walk in and take a seat to wait for my to go order, the waitresses is standing in the doorway of the kitchen with a plate and a massive smile on her face with a blind stare in her eyes standing motionless seriously like the main frame needs to be rebooted or something. The young kid is helping people at the entrance, the waitress is still standing in the same place it has now been about seven minutes still standing motionless and apparently clueless on what to do with her plate. I find out she is waiting for The young waiter helping people at the front to instructor on which table the food goes to... at this point there are only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. If this place doesn't hire experienced management, waiters and waitresses they will end up closed/bankrupt like all the other restaurants before them in that spot.

The green bean salad at level 3 spice was perfect--just the right amount of heat with a fresh, crunchy texture that made every bite enjoyable. The Firecracker Shrimp definitely lived up to its name with a nice kick, while the fried meatballs were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft with a pleasant chew on the inside. Both paired wonderfully with the sweet chili sauce served alongside them. The 505 fried chicken skins were another standout. They had the perfect crunch and the seasoning added just enough spice to keep you reaching for another piece.
