Pa Panang Salmon

I ordered panang salmon today , it very delicious as expected and good service good price , recommend to come .

Tom yum soup

This place is the real deal. Very good food! As soon as you walk in the door, you see it's small but comfortable, very clean and well decorated. The service is prompt and nice. I had the tom yum soup, vegetable salad with peanut sauce, spring (aka fresh) rolls, and vegetable stir fry. It was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. The salad contents were fresh, crisp, colorful and tasty. I will be back again and again. I highly recommend this establishment.

Vegetable 2 Piece Fried Veggie Rolls (burnt)
Candice S.

I was extremely disappointed, given the amount of positive reviews that I found on Yelp and Google. However beyond my foodbeing prepared quickly, and not being too expensive, everything else was a disaster. My food was burnt and I found three different items in my food that did not belong there. It was a very disgusting experience that I was not expecting. The sauce for the veggie rolls taste like rubbing alcohol. the veggie rolls themselves, we're so burnt that they were not enjoyable. The flavor of the pad Thai was okay until I found things in my food

Yellow Curry with pork (good portion and comes with white rice)
Kevin G.

I was very surprised how authentic this place is for Thai Food! I'm going to break this review down to sections. Location and parking: the restaurant is located at a little plaza with plenty of parking. Very convenient with no time wasted to park. Atmosphere: quiet, and standard restaurant decoration, average for atmosphere. But overall the restaurant is clean. Food: this is the best part. Their Tom Yum Soup is very authentic, not like most places I have been, I don't understand why some thai restaurant put so much tomato into the Tom yum soup and make it very sweet almost like a tomato soup, Thai star doesn't do that, good amount of seasoning and spices. The Fish Cake and chicken wings Appetizers are must tries! Very authentic and taste like the ones I have eaten in Thailand. Remember to ask for the spicy homemade hot sauce if you like Spicy! It is very spicy! I love the yellow curry at the restaurant, authentic, brings a bit of sweetness and let you pick out the spicy level you wanted. I will definitely go back to eat more Thai food from this place.

The food was amazing and the service was even better! Everything was fresh and flavorful! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to experience a true Thai meal, it was worth it and the price was very affordable!

Once inside, it's cozy, classy and impressively clean to the eye! Service was excellent - water glasses were kept full at all times. I ordered Pad Thai with crispy chicken and an order of fresh rolls. The fresh roll sauce was different from any I've ever had. Sort of a more peanut hoisin-like feel as opposed to the lighter peanut dressing. I loved it. The server asked how spicy we wanted our dishes, using a level of 1-5. Most said 2 but I went for 4 because no place ever makes it with enough of a kick when I ask for spicy. Well my 4 knocked my socks off. Only later did we find out that both servers can't even eat at a level 4!! That would have been grrrrreat to know ahead of time! Hahaaaa but it was delicious and I'd probably be silly enough to say "4" again! Prices were on par with other good Thai restaurants. We will definitely be back!

I got my 'usual' order from when it was the prior ownership/management and have to say I was less than impressed. I ordered spring rolls which have a large portion size (6 large rolls) which are much larger than the prior owners but the taste is just mainly of cabbage and oil. Not much flavor and they seemed to be a little dense/soggy with oil. The crab rangoons were made with imitation crab meat and had curry, not really any crab flavor. They seemed to use a thin premade wrapper. I also got pad thai which was okay. It was a bit on the mushy side. Flavor was okay but it just didn't seem to have the same fresh, clean quality as prior recipe. Tasted similar to a lot of other thai restaurants, which may not be a bad thing I guess. Finally I ordered drunken noodles for lunch the next day. These did not come spicy at all but instead came with a chili sauce on the side. The noodles themselves were really thick and gummy and bunched up (kind of a squareish size) rather than long ribbons. There was just almost no flavor to this dish and the flavor was just fish sauce or something similar. No complexity or layers of flavor. Very one dimensional. Overall, for the higher price it was relatively disappointing.

This dish tasted exactly how I remembered it in some of my favorite Bangkok restaurants that I've been to over the years. I've been to SE Asia many times over the years and will keep going back because of the WOW factor. So, details... the noodles are cooked perfectly. It's soft, but still has a slight crunch to it. The tamarind flavor is bold, but not overpowering. The peanuts, sprouts, chives and all the other ingredients were in the perfect proportion. The shrimp is fresh, crispy externally and tender when you bite down on it. This is by far the best Shrimp Pad Thai that I've had in Rhode Island. If anyone has another suggestion, then please let me hear it! The Thai Iced coffee was also BOMB! A nice caffeine jolt, creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet. The ambiance is that of a casual restaurant, the staff are awesome - knowledgeable, quick and kind. At first glance, you don't see much from Elmwood Ave, but veer to the right and everything opens up on the left, with a parking lot in the back. Ornate statues lead you to the entrance, and once inside you are instantly greeted with bold colors and beautiful art everywhere. I wanted to take the opportunity to try some Cambodian food, so after some quick research, I opted for Beef Lok Lak, which happened to be one of the lunch combos. I chose fried rice and nime chow for my lunch options and settled back to wait for my feast. They bring you a complementary pot of hot tea, which I enjoyed. I believe it was a straightforward unsweetened black tea. Perfect for me. Before long the rangoons arrived. I literally said "wow" when the runner set my plate down. Beautiful golden brown, small bubbles visible all over the outside, promising crispy goodness. And it delivered. What I didn't expect what the slight chewiness to the wrapper that enhanced the experience. The filling was super creamy and delicious, but I prefer my rangoons with scallions as well. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying every bite. Then my lunch came. The beef was perfectly cooked, the dressing tangy and peppery. The nime chow was herby and super fresh as it should be. And the rice had this extra depth of flavor that made me think of tomato paste? A lovely addition the dish. I had a great meal here and the rangoons are definitely worth having! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu!!
