Pineapple Fried Rice w. Crispy Pork Belly and an Iced Thai Tea with milk.
    Jonathan C.

First taste of the crispy pork belly and I was writing a review. The crunch could have woken the dead. Food was perfect and the iced tea was exactly what I needed. Veggies were crisp and cooked to perfection. Counter service was quick and easy. I took the food to go and ate it back at my hotel room. I eat Thai often on the road and it's not always good, was really happy with this find. Wish I was in town longer to try a couple more items from the menu.

I just randomly stumbled upon this place and I'm so absolutely happy that I did. No tables in there which hopefully they add a couple which there's room for maybe two or three but I'm OK with takeout for now. The papaya salad has two big shrimp in it, my Tom Yum soup is the perfect amount of spice and flavor and I couldn't be happier. I cannot wait to go back and try more things on this menu so don't be deceived if you drive by it definitely try it

Great food! Nice to find Thai nearby. Curries are fresh, well seasoned. Pad Thai is so great!

Once inside, it's cozy, classy and impressively clean to the eye! Service was excellent - water glasses were kept full at all times. I ordered Pad Thai with crispy chicken and an order of fresh rolls. The fresh roll sauce was different from any I've ever had. Sort of a more peanut hoisin-like feel as opposed to the lighter peanut dressing. I loved it. The server asked how spicy we wanted our dishes, using a level of 1-5. Most said 2 but I went for 4 because no place ever makes it with enough of a kick when I ask for spicy. Well my 4 knocked my socks off. Only later did we find out that both servers can't even eat at a level 4!! That would have been grrrrreat to know ahead of time! Hahaaaa but it was delicious and I'd probably be silly enough to say "4" again! Prices were on par with other good Thai restaurants. We will definitely be back!

What makes me want to say that starts by the welcome from the warmth and kindness from the staff. Tate made me feel at home. He did not make me feel rushed. I work at Amazon and for those of you who have worked for Amazon, rushing is crawling while sprinting is walking. Tate did not rush me at all. So, I felt right at home. I was tired and I was thankful for not being rushed. I ordered my drink and sauted clams. The drink only took less than 4 mins to make. The clams came out quickly. Then my Drunken Noodle dish came out and it was spicy to my liking ... Thai Hot #10. I also asked for additional hot pepper. I recommend Thai Excursion for anyone to try. You will not be disappointed.

I'd say three people can split it! The broth is very rich and hearty! I wanted to sample everything since we never been here before and everything was delicious. The clams were tasty with a little kick of spice. Mini wings were cute and yummy. We also ordered their ribs platter as an all bc we're fatties and it reminded me of my parent's ribs. Now that says a lot! I was pretty full from all the apps so I ordered two small soups as my entree bc again, wanted to sample everything. I got shrimp tom yum soup (best I've had so far) and clear soup. Very very light and soothing with clear noodz. We'll definitely be back. Our server was very very nice and accommodating.

Plenty of parking in the lot and the space had a good amount of tables. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. The only weird thing was there was a whole wing of the restaurant that had cornhole boards set up - it takes away a bit of the ambiance, I think it might be better if that room was closed off to separate dining from leisure but no one was really playing except for a few kids so it wasn't bothersome. We ordered the Kana Moo Grab (pork belly with Chinese broccoli), Chicken Pad Thai, a wonton soup and a side of sticky rice. We enjoyed everything! Food came out fast and hot and was delicious! There wasn't too much foot traffic, a few other tables and takeout orders only. Would def return here to try other options!

The proprietor was kind and attentive. Told us which dishes were ideally suited for no spice for the littles. She also let us know about a community event a block down. Hot basil stir fry had reasonable spice (which is to say that it actually had some bite). We also got tamarind duck and a beef stir fry with no spice... Flavors seemed a bit americanized, which isnt our cup of tea.

This dish tasted exactly how I remembered it in some of my favorite Bangkok restaurants that I've been to over the years. I've been to SE Asia many times over the years and will keep going back because of the WOW factor. So, details... the noodles are cooked perfectly. It's soft, but still has a slight crunch to it. The tamarind flavor is bold, but not overpowering. The peanuts, sprouts, chives and all the other ingredients were in the perfect proportion. The shrimp is fresh, crispy externally and tender when you bite down on it. This is by far the best Shrimp Pad Thai that I've had in Rhode Island. If anyone has another suggestion, then please let me hear it! The Thai Iced coffee was also BOMB! A nice caffeine jolt, creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet. I love the spring rolls and for the last few times I've ordered them, they've been small, overcooked until hard, and with minimal veggies in the middle.
