    Seaweed Salad

Small place in a small plaza - blink and you'll miss it but food is good. Just look for Brickyard Wine and Spirits, it's in the same plaza. We came on a Friday night very hungry and looking for good Thai food - this place fit the bill. The place isn't anything fancy and is small but it wasn't busy so no wait on this rainy Friday night. We ordered chicken tom yum soup, seaweed salad, appetizer platter for 2, chicken pineapple fried rice and chicken yellow curry. Tom Yum soup was good, nice balance of sour and spicy (could've been spicier IMO) but broth was delicious. Seaweed salad came out warm, that was a first - I typically have it cold. Came on a heaping pile of spiraled carrots which surprisingly tasted good - it could've just been for garnish but we ate it, lol. Appetizer platter - we liked pretty much everything on there - a few we could do without were the chicken satay (bit bland) and fresh rolls (just ok). Sprill rolls were good and although they were super crispy, I liked the wings - had a nice flavor. Rice was good but I think it could've used a bit more curry powder. The yellow curry was delicious - great flavor with just enough kick to coat your palate. We enjoyed our meal and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be making a trip back here again.

So pleased and impressed! We do have a very nice Thai restaurant in Bristol but we took the extra 10 minutes to try The Boss out for take-out tonight. So glad we did! Truly authentic balanced Thai flavors and with the right amount of heat for the spicy dishes. We got a diverse selection and everything was excellent and traveled well. I LOVE the basil Pad Thai - never had that before and it's got a unique kick to it! I'm always adding stuff to take out meals, finding many under seasoned or not the right amount of spice or acid - everything here is perfect as is! Will be ordering more for sure! Thank you Boss man/woman!

My family order foods here once a week. Today I found a very sharp iron particle in the fried rice. I was so disappointed with it.

    Where's the beef

Spent $100 on 4 bowls of soup. The three beef bowls had two meatballs and two small pieces of steak, see photo. Absolutely not worth it and to top it off you have to tip them on line or you can't order. What a ripoff. Where's the beef?

    Lemongrass Veggies

I have not been here in a while. Disappointed this last time ordering take out. The prices are much higher and the portions are smaller. I was surprised. The food was good but at these prices. I will go elsewhere. My lemongrass with veggies was $16.95 and the green beans with tofu was $17.95. It is not the prices as much as the portion. The service is always friendly so I gave them two stars.

I like the food, the place is very clean and the server is so cute and very very polite! I had seafood pho, which I eat a lot and this was my first time having mussels inside and it was SO good!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The tam buk hong(papaya salad) and kapoon(noodle soup) bring back many fond memories of my childhood!

Perfect place for a special event. The apps, desserts, sautéed udon, duck noodle soup... so good. The choices of tea are plentiful! We tried cherry blossom, brown rice tea, and an iced peach tea. All so so good! My favorite dessert was sticky rice with a sweet sauce (coconut cream?) and chopped mango. I can't wait to come back!

I love the spring rolls and for the last few times I've ordered them, they've been small, overcooked until hard, and with minimal veggies in the middle. This dish tasted exactly how I remembered it in some of my favorite Bangkok restaurants that I've been to over the years. I've been to SE Asia many times over the years and will keep going back because of the WOW factor. So, details... the noodles are cooked perfectly. It's soft, but still has a slight crunch to it. The tamarind flavor is bold, but not overpowering. The peanuts, sprouts, chives and all the other ingredients were in the perfect proportion. The shrimp is fresh, crispy externally and tender when you bite down on it. This is by far the best Shrimp Pad Thai that I've had in Rhode Island. If anyone has another suggestion, then please let me hear it! The Thai Iced coffee was also BOMB! A nice caffeine jolt, creamy and not overwhelmingly sweet. The ambiance is that of a casual restaurant, the staff are awesome - knowledgeable, quick and kind. This cozy restaurant really delivers some authentic Thai magic. Chicken Satay - Best chicken satay I've had ever. The chicken appears to be marinated because there's flavor throughout the entire piece of meat. Appetizer comes with 4x large pieces. Nothing small about them and the accompanying peanut sauce and pickled vegetables are on point. Meat is "moist" and "tender". Yes... those quotes were necessary. Thai Iced Tea - The drink is a regular order for me at a lot of Thai restaurants. To my surprise, I really enjoyed this one the most because it was not atypically as overly sweet as other restaurants I've been too. Green Curry with Seafood - All ingredients in this dish were on point and fresh. Nothing tasted frozen or out of a can. Seafood was not over cooked and everything tasted clean. Flavors and quantity were all present. The curry had spice and did not disappoint. Kra Pow with Minced Chicken - Again, all the added veggies were fresh and not overly cooked. Vegetables really spoke for themselves. Flavor in the kra pow were solid and had a reasonable level of heat/spice, but not overwhelming. Again, very good portions. Overall, this place was amazing. I was a bit thrown off when they didn't ask how spicy our party wanted our food as with most other Thai restaurants we've been to, but they hit it out of the park. In my honest opinion, it's not the typical American levels of spice, so be forewarned. The level is probably a bit more on the mild side of Thai level heat. Service is very friendly here and prompt. I have to say whoever the cook, grandma, or magic elf they have hidden away in the kitchen... don't ever let them go.
