I would have given higher marks if there had been any effort at all in making the decor, and especially the tables, more inviting. i've been going here for years, the food & service was always the best in town when it came to thai food. last night i went after not eating there for a while, the food was unflavorful & the wontons had a weird fishy taste. i went thru the drive thru & the girl working it gave me the wrong change so i went in to get it fixed & they accused me of lying & said i didn't give her 40 (i handed her 2 20s). safe to say i unfortunately will not come back here which is sad because i've been coming here since 2018 when i moved here. i was extremely disappointed paying almost 40 dollars for terrible service and unflavorful food. read more

Stopped in Amarillo for the night and checked out TT for dinner. Closing at 9pm, we just got in at 8:30pm. Ordered our food and they had K-Wave playing which was a plus! Luv good Christian music. Got the eggrolls and wanton for Aps. Eggrolls tasted like Jack in Box(I like them too) and wantons were Not good. Got the pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai for main course. I must have eaten here at least 10x and now finally writing a Yelp review. I'll keep it simple. Great food, good prices, and even better customer service. The dish I order the most is the combo pad thai (chicken, beef, and schrimp). I love the way they stir fry the noodles. I hate soggy noodles and Thai Thai does it right. The noodles are chewy, the pad Thai sauce is sweet and mildly salty, and after adding their home made chili oil, it's just BOMB! Everything is good on the menu. Presentation isn't fancy, nor is the restaurant's decor. It's pretty bare bones. But do you go to a Thai restaurant for fancy decorations? Thai Thai is clean, neat, orderly. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We received our food in no time on a Friday evening. And it's affordable. The next time I pass through Amarillo, I'm stopping here. This restaurant had some Great reviews so I decided to check out the menu here on Yelp. The menu looked really good & had some Chinese as well as Thai favorites. My accomplice & I ordered via Take Out the sesame chicken along with sweet-and-sour pork. I opted for steamed rice & my associate had fried rice. My expectations for sweet-and-sour pork are as follows: chunks of pork dipped in batter & fried, then smothered in sweet-and-sour sauce with chunks of white onion, bell pepper, & pineapple. What I received was chunks of battered fried pork dry with no sauce or vegetables served with a small styro cup of a liquid on the side. THEN ... Sesame chicken should be chunks of chicken battered & deep-fried then coated with a tangy sticky orange sauce tainted with one or two dried Cayenne peppers buried in the sticky gooey mess with sesame seeds sprinkled over the top. Instead, what we received was basically identical to the other dish being battered & fried served dry with a small styro cup of liquid with sesame seeds floating on top. The food was bitterly disappointing. The lesson learned is I should have inspected the food before I doled out 26 bucks & walked out the door. If I had been a dine-in guest, that food would have gone straight back to the kitchen for a make over. Else, I would have walked out. Overall I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of this little Thai restaurant. I was quickly greeted and was shown a pretty exclusive menu. I opted for the Pineapple Shrimp Curry and my wife had the chicken Pad Thai. They were both delicious and the jasmine tea was very good as well. Service was excellent as well. read more

Driving across the panhandle and was craving some Asian food so we Searched, read the reviews and decided to give it a go. Nothing fancy but very clean. BYOB. Everyone was friendly and even recommended a couple of dishes. I had the combination vegetable fried rice and my husband had the chicken curry (which turned out to be massaman, our favorite.) My fried rice was packed with meat and veggies and was not greasy and tasted great. The curry had lemon leaves in the coconut milk that gave it great depth of flavor.
