I've purchased food here five times so far. I typically have ordered chicken pho with all the vegetables, but had occasion to try their shrimp Phad Thai and the chicken coconut soup. All are very good! When I order the god to go it is well packaged, even soup. They staff is polite and the place is quiet when dining in. read more

The wait staff were very nice but the Pad Thai Beef was over cooked and the udon noodles were over cooked. It was like everything was left overs and rewarmed. The table felt dirty by touch. The condiment containers were sticky and unwashed. We have done takeout and it was very good but we will do neither in or out dining there again. I have no idea why I haven't tried this place sooner! We have a local place we usually go to for this type of food, but they were closed so we thought we would give Sabaidee a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable. The food came out quick and was very tasty! We will definitely be returning! read more

So disappointed after reading great reviews... egg rolls are just cabbage with some carrots added in, no meat and no flavor! Husband and I both had the 2 choice lunch entrees and was not impressed the sauces and congealed like jelly and the chicken was tiny strips surrounded in a ton of breading! Fried rice was definitely lacking... we did not eat much of our lunch because it just wasn't great at all! read more

We have been meaning to stop here for quite some time but never really made the time to do so. Boy, have we been missing out! This is literally off the beaten path and you wouldn't know it was here unless you paid attention. The staff are very kind, the restaurant is clean and quiet, and the food was very good! If you like it spicy definitely get the red chili oil. Along with the two pictured entrées we also got their pork fried wontons, eggrolls, and the egg drop soup, all of which were tasty and well done! Sabaidee is my favorite place in this town to get pho. I tried another place once and was so disappointed in myself for trying to try something new. In comparison, Sabaidee's meat, broth, vegetables, and condiment offerings were superior. This is a fusion Thai, lao, Chinese restaurant. They grow their own Thai Chili's and make everything to your desired level of spiciness. Their papaya salad lao style level spicy actually brought tears to my eyes. Good flavor and good heat. I ordered the panang curry and it had amazing flavor and the right amount of heat. The fried rice was delicious as well. The pad kee mao noodles were a bit over cooked. I did like their appetizers and they are fairly priced. The owner was very personable and did not make us feel rushed to leave as we were the last dining customers and it was past closing. Came for the laos style green papaya salad and it did not disappoint! Flavors are strong and in point. Ask for crushed peanuts on it and it balances the citrusy and spiciness perfectly. Also reccomend the beef jerky paired with sticky rice. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Try it with the fish sauce dip... dont be afraid of flavor lol. We also had the Singaporean noodles with was tasty as well. It has a creamy coconut sauce in it. read more

Extremely disappointed. After a long day of driving we stopped at this restaurant to pick up dinner before we get to our hotel. Saturday 7pm not a customer in sight. We ordered 3 dishes 2 of them were inedible. The satay chicken was like doggy chicken jerky. Could not sink my teeth into the meat I am not kidding. Iwas horrified by the shrimp and vegetables dish sitting in a pool of red soupy sauce. No respectable Asian would serve red sauce. It's neither Lao nor Chinese and certainly not Thai. The supposedly signature Chicken curry tasted okay but it was mostly bamboo shoots with very little chicken. Food wwre trashed, we ended up getting dinner from Buffalo Wild wings. read more

Don't snooze on this because Bangkok got high ratings. Some of the best Thai/Laos food I've ate that's not home cooked. Being that Amarillo is such a big population of Laos. You really can't find bad Thai good here but the two older Lao ladies definitely brought it to the table. Passing by from Colorado springs to Dallas. We ordered up 5 items including Thai pho which I made Laos with some simple garnish they give on the table. Pepper flakes, lime, sugar, roasted garlic and more paste. The food was amazing, we are glad the long long from Bangkok pushed us to another authentic Thai restaurant. Check the pictures your self. read more

I don't know why this restaurant received good reviews, I have eaten Tai, Chinese and Vietnamese foods in many cities and know what these food groups are suppose to taste like. Sorry, but this restaurant just doesn't make the grade. The flavoring, spices aren't right. The quality of food is not good either. I so wanted to like my meal, but my entire party of 3 were all disappointed to say the least. I live in Amarillo and eat lunch at Sabaidee from time to time. I usually order the garlic chicken from the lunch menu. I don't eat big meals, so it's plenty of food for me. (If you want more, you can pay a little more and get two entrees instead of just one). I'm no connoisseur of Asian food, but I really don't understand the super negative reviews of this place. It's a quaint, out-of-the-way, little restaurant, with pretty tasty food and reasonable prices. My son says their food just doesn't sit well with him. I can not even give this restaurant a 1 star rating!!!! Ordered sweet and sour chicken. All it was was, was deep fried chicken pieces. NO pineapple, onions or peppers. REALLY SERIOUSLY prople.
