    Chicken and shrimp Pad Thai
    Tay W.

If you are looking for an awesome place to celebrate the holidays, have a intimate date night, a tasty girls night out, or just another option in lieu of cooking, Thai Treasure is a good choice. The food is amazing. I am a huge fan of the shrimp and chicken pad Thai. The drunken noodles and the Thai fried rice are also amazing. But, the home run for me is the service as well as the great cocktails! Happy eating!

Pretty good across the board! Great service!....Fast to be seated and the food came out much quicker than we were expecting. The staff were super-friendly and attentive. Came here for a weekday lunch. Their lunch specials and menu is well priced with large portions and came with a drink and spring roll. I ordered a Chicken Pad See Eew.....That was nothing but on word...."Delicious!" The spices and flavors were kickin' throughout this dish. I added shrimp to the dish for a small extra charge and I was surprised to see that they were large jumbo shrimp added to the dish. They were plump, juicy, and most of all fresh. We also got appetizers. I recommend the chicken skewers and crab rangoon! Everything overall was tasty and authentic. The spice chart on the menu is accurate!...Beware, when you say spicy....This place will dish it out! My mouth was burning with nothing but Thai goodness! LOL! The prices were about what you'd expect for the area, and about fair for the quality and quantity of food! Would absolutely visit again!

Ok I'm giving away this hidden gem. Thursday 3-9pm girls nights $5 cocktails are a complete steal. Absolutely delicious drinks at such a low price was a dangerous Thursday night for me and my two girlfriends. The drinks had some feisty names so I won't mention them here, but whatever you get you can't go wrong! The food was delicious and steaming hot too. We ordered the shrimp firecrackers off the happy hour menu ($7), a chicken pad see ew, a lava beef, and the Thai treasure wings. Everything was so good!!! Definitely the spot for a girls night out with tasty drinks and food. Service was also so nice!

Thursday nights are an amazing deal for girls nights, $5 cocktails and shooters! They also have their every day happy hour with several apps to choose from. For my entree I chose the clay pot shrimp, it had great flavor with lots of shrimp and veggies. Highly recommend for a girls night out or for tasty Thai food. Service was a tad slow, but still got our food and drink within a fair amount of time.

This is a great neighborhood Thai place if you're in the ballston or Virginia square area. They have a happy hour with some wonderful food deals and some fun decorations for a good Easter ambiance. I came here with some local neighborhood friends. The service was quick and easy. I got the green curry and my friends got the pad Thai and my other friend with food restrictions got the pad see ew. Everyone loved their meal. For a good local place, this was wonderful, although I'm not sure I would come here if I was not from the area.

Really great dinner and portions (we had leftovers). Service was quick and I loved their selection of mocktails!

This was not good! Ordered the drunken noodles and they were the strangest drunken noodles ever. Why were they saucy and sweet? Gross!

The thai tea was so good. It wasn't too sweet. The food was good on par with a typical Thai restaurant. Glad I found a good Thai spot in Ballston. Street parking behind the restaurant was easy too.

Nicole was so nice and informative. Can't wait to go to her bar again! I ordered drunken noodles and it had SO MUCH FLAVOR! There's tv everywhere so I could watch football. The vibe is super chill and relaxing. Ask about karaoke!

Spilled curry, immediately replaced by their kind staff!

Updated review! I order here about once per week so it's safe to say I'm a fan of their food. I just wanted to give them a special acknowledgment for going above and beyond with their service. I ordered curry tonight and there must have been a crack in the container or the lid wasn't secure because most of the liquid wound up in the bag. I called to see what they can do and not only did they remake the curry but they brought it straight to my house about 10 minutes later! They are so kind and did not hesitate to make sure I was well fed. Thank you Thai Treasure! You're the best!

Great happy hour, good service, yummy food! Great price on happy hour wine. I also enjoyed the Lavender Love Letter cocktail for $10. I got pad woon sen with shrimp and it was delicious with a generous amount of shrimp, cooked very nicely (and not overdone and rubbery like I sometimes find at Thai places.) My friend enjoyed the pad see ew.

Thai in Northern Virginia is normally quite good, but there are a few meh places. This is one of them. The difference is that its prices are higher, and the portions smaller, than places of comparable quality. The rice delivered with my chicken red curry was comically small (see pic below) and overcooked to the point that the grains melded into a single rice cube. The curry itself had a good spice level, but was otherwise bland. There are many better ways to spend your money.

Nice ambiance and decor (modern and inviting). Nice menu. On UberEats they are only available for delivery. No self pick up option. On DoorDash, you can opt for self pick up which is what we did. Food was ready fast! That's a huge plus. The duck kapow is great! Massaman curry is also flavorful. Rice is so stingy! I even paid extra to get brown rice. That box is half full! They are cutting corners. Tom Yum soup is a sad affair. Just some mushrooms. 3 shrimps. Not much there.

Both times we've gone, it was during their happy hour, which runs until 7 pm, and we stuck to the special menu. Those have included their Charcuterie Board (something that contributed to Dr. Oz not being a senator), crispy Brussels sprouts, their Margarita flatbread, chicken skewers, and truffle fries. Don't hate us; that was spread over two visits. Everything tasted great, though next time I think we'll graduate to the real menu. The wines we've tried so far were either inexpensive or not bad. For inexpensive, I've had glasses of their $3 Tempranillo. While it wasn't great, I've paid a lot re for much worse. For "not bad", my wife had the $10 Buehler Cab. After it opened up for a bit it was quite drinkable.

Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.

It is not used for ordering, which was odd these days. Chill and super awesome bartender with the mother of all hickeys. Good pours. No Skrewball :-( I had the special, two hot dogs with tater tots. When it said double, I wasn't sure if that meant double the tater tots, but that meant actually two hot dogs. Really good. I also had the other special, the two pancakes. I meant to get the sausage, but they gave me the bacon instead. It was great. Well worth it. I thought that was the better value of the meals. They got a lot of board and card games. Very laid-back atmosphere, 90s and early 2000s pop on the music, comfortable seating, and good food. The prices were reasonable. This is one area that I think we are just going to have to deal with for quite some time. The give-and-take of prices,. Smothered tater tots, pancakes, two hotdogs with some tater tots, and three drinks came out to ~$55. NOT. BAD. Was it worth it? If this had been just a normal restaurant, I would've said no. It would've been more worth it if it had been about $40. But... nobody made us pay to use the board games, or the card games, and we sat there for three hours and had a really good time. So based on that, the fact they provide a venue for playing these games and hanging out for a few hours makes it all worth it. Really strange thing was that there was this balding guy with a beard that randomly showed up as a waiter. We had been dealing with a bartender, so this guy, kind of rude came on to us and we weren't sure what to do with him. He kind of blocked me from paying the bartender. Rude. Not a hangout spot every day, but certainly once a week, maybe once a month or more, definitely a place to meet up if you got a group. I was really surprised by the diversity of the people that were there. A lot of chess players, a whole table of middle-aged women, lots of different people playing games. I would give them five stars, but not quite perfect. The rude guy at the end was so odd. Otherwise, great location, great parking, the food was good, good value, and fun.
