Wow! This is a great place to go for a hangout with friends, date with your significant other, or just wanting to get out the house! Everything looks gorgeous and it felt great to just sit around with the many food and dessert options inside. We had busted the movie theater a couple of times before finally making the adventure downstairs, and I'm so glad we did!

What a fantastic new food court concept! I knew that when Ballston Quarter got announced, it meant that ye olde Ballston Common Mall was getting quite the revamp, but I didn't really think about what it would mean for the former food court options as well. I'm so happy to report that Quarter Market is all you could wish for and more! It's enormous, has a huge, diverse offering of trendy cuisines all headed up by LOCAL businesses, and I couldn't be happier with the selection so far (and there's only more to come!) Hot Lola's, Rice Crook, Ballston Service Station, Roll'd, The Local Oyster, Turu's by Timber Pizza, Sloppy Mama's BBQ, Mi & Yu Noodle Bar, and Ice Cream Jubilee are rocking it out so far in the main food court area, with Copa Kitchen & Bar offering full-service seating close by and tons more on the way (Maizal! Bartaco!), and additional Ballston Quarter restaurants like True Food Kitchen and Ted's Bulletin (both set to open soon!) just a stone's throw away. There's a huge variety of tables and seating, a cute little faux-grassy, green area off to one side with cornhole and benches, and an outdoor plaza area for which they can open garage-style doors to the main area when the weather is nice. Overall, it's an awesome space, and I'm sure will only continue to get better as additional businesses open up inside. Three cheers for Quarter Market!

Quarter Market is so nice. It has a hip & trendy vibe that's perfect spot to hang with friends. There was 16 different spots to eat at ranging from Indian to noodles to poke to bbq. Plus a doughnut or ice cream place that are both phenomenal. The place is well kept and clean. There's an outdoor area that occasionally hosts events, like a bring your dog day. Highly recommend!

Awesome food hall with plenty of options. I come here every now and then and try to sample some of the dishes here. I love Hot Lola's chicken, Sloppy Mamas bbq, Local oysters fresh seafood and Maizal Mexican street food. Ceilings here are high and they have plenty of seating. There is a lot of street art and cool vibrant colors all around. Great spot to grab lunch or bring the kids. They do have an outside faux garden area where kids can play. The staff keeps this place spotless. The variety here is awesome. You can get everything savory and sweet. I'll be coming back when I'm in the area to try out some of the newer spots.

This huge market has many food and drink options. The outside area is really nice with big connect four and some other games as well as lots of seating. There was live music when we stopped by on Saturday. Lots of open seating inside and pretty good options to choose from.

Located in the busy Clarendon area of downtown Arlington this spot is quaint, cute and gets quite busy. I started with the Chilli Hoisin Duck Bao Bun which was hot, fluffy and savory. Their motto is " from bowl to soul" and this is hands down the BEST Ramen I've ever had. The Spicy Pork Szechuan ramen had so much flavor and definitely warmed my soul! The Spicy chicken broth along with the szechuan ground pork makes the dish, and the broth was rich & savory. The pork flavor was strong and the teriyaki took it up a notch. Mmmm mmm good. The ramen is very hearty but you can't stop eating it. Oh yeah the Banana Katsu with salted caramel ice cream is a great dessert to close out this meal. One of these days I will definitely try another dish but for now if it ain't broke I don't plan on fixing it!

I would ask for a booth/regular seating if you don't want to sit on the high top stools. I tried the mushroom and eggplant bao for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I could definitely eat more than two of these. The chicken katsu curry is a generous portion size and I took some home. My only note is that I would prefer more curry sauce for a more even sauce to rice ratio.

Food: there was a blend of Chinese-American, sushi and Thai. I typically do not go to restaurants that have that many Asian cuisines on their menu because it looks confusing to me. I normally choose more 'authentic' style restaurants. I want to state that so my review doesn't seem too harsh. 2 of my friends and I shared the crab rangoons, Peking duck and broccoli. Crab Rangoon was average but I did appreciate the sauce wasn't the typical sweet chili sauce. Our main had great crispy skin but the duck was dry. I was disappointed since it was $69 so I was expecting it to be a lot better. The broccoli had great taste but u was surprised that it was American broccoli and not Chinese broccoli. I understand it's Chinese American but maybe I should have read the description a little better. My friends did love it. Overall - the food was ok. The service was great.

My waitress said they had taken them off the menu but there was such an outcry they brought them back. The green beans had a very light coating on them and were delicious I can see why people complained about them being taken off the menu It also came with a trio of dipping sauces. The sweet chili was good but the green onion one was amazing. The bulgogi steak was very tender and delicious.

I finally found it after walking back up the street for the second time. What threw me off was that there is an interior street called Bethesda Lane!!! I blame gps for not telling me to turn down this lane because my phone kept saying that I have arrived. But it was worth the walk up and down Bethesda Avenue. I got there before the noon rush and ordered the bibimbap which consisted of bulgogi steak and tofu with spicy kimchi, housemade pickles, bean sprout banchan, and veggies atop crispy rice. Topped with gochujang and a fried egg. It was not too spicy as there was just a dab of gochujang which was enough to give the dish a little kick but not overly spicy. The kimchi was also on the spicy side but again, fine for me. All the ingredients were tasty. I especially loved the tofu mixed in with the steak sauce. My first bite of the tofu actually made me think it was the meat. The rice wasn't "crispy" as described. I think if I hadn't taken it as a to-go order, it may have been prepared in a stone pot therefore giving me that crispy rice. I will need to try a dine-in next time to be sure. The egg was perfectly done.

Always appreciate the minimalist yet still eloquently-decorated aesthetic of the restaurants, complete with a window to view the kitchen, which itself seemed relatively clean and well-kempt. Ordered the Woodear Mushroom and Mint Salad, and the Mogu Shiitake Mixian Ramen. The mushrooms were light and chewy, yet savory with citric and garlicky elements, and overall very refreshing. The ramen was solid in most respects, with a decent variety of vegetables and multiple proteins, including tofu, shiitakes, soybeans and marinated egg (which I enjoyed despite typically not liking hard-boiled egg too much). The noodles were a little bland, however, and didn't taste like they absorbed much of the broth. Overall, I'd say 4.5 stars are more accurate; YbP Noodle House is a regular haunt for me because the quality is there in most respects.
