One of the best Thai places in Everett and I've been to almost all of them. My biggest complaint is that sometimes the pad thai in the lunch specials is a little dry, but it's infrequent enough to overlook. The prices are good; ~$11 for lunch special with tip. There is a large selection of entrees and the staff is friendly. Parking can be difficult as there are six other restaurants in the complex and lots of boeing people go there for friday lunch. Decent Thai food and portions for the price, and close to work, so I go whenever I am in town for business. I always get the Lunch Set 2 (Chicken Red Curry). It does get busy during lunch so I'm sure the waitresses are busy, but the service was pretty lacking this time. We came in when it wasn't busy yet, but it took forever for someone to come take our order. As it got busy, we also had to flag down someone for water, again to ask for chopsticks, and the waitress hurried away when she left the check at our table so we didn't get a chance to ask for a box for our leftovers. Have gone here often for lunch over the years -- but I'm done. The service here is rude and not accommodating. The prices have increased for the lunch set menu and instead of the delicious geaw tod that come along with the lunch sets, you get a soggy egg roll with NO dipping sauce. I asked for sauce and was told would have the pay extra. When I asked the server, she turned around and huffed in disgust. With 2 lunch sets and two Thai teas and tip, lunch was $38. read more

I must admit I had a bad Thai experience back in the early 90s - so I stayed away until I moved up here to Washington a couple of years ago and my sister insisted that I learn to love it - and it's growing on me. Wherever I go I order the white girl special - cashew chicken and pad thai - 1 star. Thai Valley is right by my work and I like it. The portions are hearty and I agree with Gavin N., those little deep fried cream cheese things are super tasty. Their soup is good too. One word to the wise, this place can get horribly crowded on certain days - I haven't figured out why or what the pattern for that is yet, and when it's crowded it is some slow service. So if you see a lot of folks inside, make plans to come back when it isn't so busy - you won't regret it! read more

This place will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first restaurant I ever had lunch at while working at Boeing-Everett. If you ever see an indian dude and a few asian guys bitching about their crap jobs with a crap company (which shall not be named here), then you'll know it's me, so come say hi! You get free soup here, and free candy at the front if you like. I often eat the free candy before lunch too because... it's ... free candy... Worst. Thai Food. EVER. Chicken was super dry and the pad thai was just rice noodles with ketchup. I think because the restaurant is located next to Boeing and they get plenty of lunch goers every day, it seems like they don't need to try to keep the food decent. When i complained to the waiter, he seemed very annoyed and not even one bit accommodating. I ordered the phad kee mao. Arrived an hour before they were closing and they didn't have any more of the thick rice noodle, so I opted for the the phad thai noodles, which I actually prefer. Flavor was good, portion was large. I would go back and try their panang curry. read more

The best fresh rolls I've had anywhere. The food is great too. The owners are friendly and remember regulars like us. The interior is well decorated and furnished. The decor, tables and atmosphere in general is clean feeling. I love their use of a 2x4 barrier separating the two sections of the restaurant. read more

After sitting for 50 minutes with no food arriving, we told them we hadn't received our food, sat there for another 10 minutes and them decided to leave. 5 other tables around us received their food, we had been there 3x as long. I used to come here often, the food was great as well as the service. Something has changed in the last year, though. Not only has the food quality gone down, but the service has gone down incredibly. They did have good service before, but the last 4 times that I have been there it has been near horrible! They have a man there that has zero concept of timing, and he awkwardly puts himself at your table in the most inconvenient times. The last time that I was there I had my girlfriend and young son with me and he was trying to take our food before we were done. He also dropped chopsticks off of my plate onto my girlfriend and didn't even say "I'm sorry", or acknowledge that he did that. It was the weirdest thing... he watched them fall off of the plate onto my girlfriends back, looked at it, then just walked away... Who does that?? Eh, this place is ok, nothing to write home about. The portions are very big and the food is delivered super fast. The one place it stands out is the soup starter that is brought to the table, is always consistently delicious, and perfect on a colder day. The lunch prices are a little high and the quality of food is just ok. I usually get 3.5 stars for my spice factor but next time I go here I would shoot for 4, because the 3 is not nearly spicey enough. The pad thai tends to be fairly sticky, like it was pre-cooked many hours prior to my order, but the curries and meat dishes are usually better. They do have take-out as well. Tasty food overall . I was disappointed in the fresh rolls, though. Only 2 shrimp snall/medium per roll otherwise filled mostly with a lettuce mixture, so not very well balanced. Can't believe I forgot to write the review after posting the pictures. We went to this family restaurant for a few times now. The young guy at the cashier and our server is always friendly. We only went there for dinner so far. We love their curry (Yellow, Green and Panang). Thai Basil with beef was very tasty too. Their food has good flavor and authentic too. We tried their Thai custard with black sticky rice as dessert. We don't like the custard which was on top of the black sticky rice. I didn't like the texture of the custard compared to the other kind that as Chinese style or the flan we had. I will definitely try their Mango with sticky rice dessert next time. I've been wanting to try Thai Valley for some time, as many friends have recommended it. The food is OK. I had the Red Curry Lunch Combo, which includes soup, rice, pad thai and fried cream cheese packets. For $9.95, it's not too bad, although I really wish it was possible to get smaller portions as I prefer to have only curry and rice for a lower price. My husband had a chicken stir fry lunch combo, and it was disappointing...a mountain of onions and celery and just a few pieces of chicken. What really turned us off, though, was the service. The servers were borderline rude, never checked on us and never brought us the check. This made the overall dining experience not as pleasant as we had hoped. read more

I am not a big Thai food guy but there are dishes like I generally enjoy. I have eaten here a few times and had takeout. My wife didn't care for the food to the point that she doesn't want to go back. I did enjoy the food I had but there was certainly room for improvement. The biggest hit on this place is the service. They literally have one person answering the phone, clearing the tables, ringing up take out orders, bringing food out, etc and her English leaves a little to be desired The tables we ate at were also sticky and dirty. I will probably order some takeout for my self but not much else and of course my wife won't be back. There is another very popular Thai place a few miles away that has been here for years and although it is a little more expensive the service is much better, the ambience is much better and the place is cleaner. They also understand English to a much better degree so that your food order doesn't get screwed up. read more

I saw a coworker with some food from Thai Valley, I tried it and it was delicious. When I got out of work, I ordered Pad Woon Sen for take out. I picked it up, and the woman at the counter was very nice, got my order and everything was there, including little plastic forks and chop sticks.. They lined the takeout box with foil so it stayed warm for the drive home. Very good experience and good tasting food. I will be going back. read more

Thai Valley is definitely the BEST Thai food in Everett. It is always the little hole in the wall places off the beaten path that have the best food. If you don't work in the area, you may have never heard of it. But, it is definitely worth the trip. The have wonderful lunch specials. You get so much high quality food for a very reasonable price.
