I was very impressed by this restaurant. From the outside, it looks like a little hole in the wall. When you walk inside, the decor is wonderful. Great use of color, high ceilings, clean tabletops, stemware for water glasses and water already at the table. Food is served on patterned plates, not the basic white so common now. Went in for a late lunch so there were not many table occupied and had very attentive service. The lunch menu is just a portion of the dinner menu, so if there is something else you are looking for it may be there. The prices were not that much less so I am not sure how the portions compare. I had the fresh rolls, which were delicious and came with probably one of the best peanut sauces I've had! For my entree, ordered the pineapple fried rice with checked. Delivery review I am VERY glad, in this case, to have ignored the reviews on this one. This place is rock solid. Don't worry about mistakes they might have made 13 years ago; what they did today was on the money. Two of us have head colds in this house. One almost done, one just starting today. Thai is nice for a day like this because there are tons of delivery options, the spice will help the one with the almost-gone cold, and the soup will help the one with the brand-new cold. So I search for the spiciest Thai around, not really expecting search engines to find that exact aspect of a menu, and annoyed with myself for trying all the Thai places I know about and not being able to answer that question off the top of my head. Despite some old comments to the opposite here, Gusto came up on other sites recently with comments like "we asked for ***** and boy did we get it." Perfect. Turnaround time was quick, and prices were pretty reasonable for delivered food these days. Fresh Rolls Same as they are almost everywhere, and they were truly solid. Tight rolls, dense chopped-veg filling, fresh-tasting shrimps. Peanut sauce is almost as thick as peanut butter; almost made to spend 20 seconds in the wave and stir in some hot sauce. Tod Mun Well-formed and densely-packed fish cakes. I'd say 90% sure they're scratch-made. Good flavor, mild sweetness. Rough-chopped vegetable garnish with some sweet red sauce to drizzle. Lots of lightly-fried fresh basil in the container too. Felt pretty close to eating in a restaurant, the way they let you re-create the toppings. Tom Kah (chicken) Big rich creamy soup, big flavors, decent amount of spice at 2 stars. There's an awful lot of good Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese soup around here, and we can always use more, especially this time of year. This goes on the list for sure. Yum Neau Beef salad. Tangy bright dressing, tons of flavor. Big rustic chunks of chopped veg. Big flavors in the beef. Just want you want from a Thai beef salad. Garlic Delight Yeah, this is probably pretty Americanized, and you can blame me. Vegetables still nice and crunchy, chicken nice and tender, not dried out. 5 stars is probably an exaggeration, it wasn't crazy spicy on the palate, but it did leave a little moisture on my head and neck, so it had some kick to it. Great flavor. Gone almost as soon as I picked up the container. I think there are Thai places around here with a bit more style to them, but I'd happily order from here again and would hit up the dining room, too. read more

Sunday, 7/11/2021 - First time eating at "Thai Gusto" Restaurant. This is a cute little restaurant in Everette, WA. We hired a driver to bring us here, as we are visiting Seattle, WA. So am unsure about parking here. Upon arrival: Pros: 1) restaurant is pretty large. Held about 25 tables with 4 chairs to each table (give or take). 2) service was great. 3) tables, chairs, utensils, plates, cups, etc all clean. 4) water tasted good. No metal taste. 5) we we given a large jug of ice water so we can refill our own water cups. 6) All of our food dishes tasted superb! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. 7) dessert was fried ice cream with vanilla ice cream with a side of coconut ice cream. It was delicious. But I wasn't used to the breading used on the fried banana. Still good tho. 8) women's bathroom was clean and well stocked. Sink clean. 2 stalls with 2 sink. 9) owners were very nice. 10) we had plenty of food left to take. It was too good. Cons: 1) no cons! Except the fried banana breading. I gotta get used to this type of breading. Conclusion: Love this place. We had no issues. Great service, delicious foods, clean restaurant, nice hostess. Will return here again. I recommend this location. As we were leaving, I did see a large parking lot next to the restaurant. read more

We were invited to dine here after a high school performance at the nearby auditorium. Our first red flag was police cars outside the restaurant and inside, police officers trying to remove a drunk person from the restaurant who had fallen asleep at one of the tables. The whole place was empty otherwise. What was particularly disgusting was that my wife found trash in her food as she was packing up her food in the to-go container. A discarded paper or wrapper of some sort that had soaked up the sauce. At this point, everyone in our party had eaten the food, which mostly seemed to taste OK, but we all now had the sickly idea that we had consumed bits of trash in our food. When we brought this to the server's attention, she did not respond to the complaint, apologize, or offer any discount. She just returned with the check, which included automatic gratuity, which we paid without fuss since they accommodated us within an hour of them closing, and we just wanted to get home. After paying, we left behind our leftovers. I'm sure this is a health code violation. Thankfully, my wife is a slow eater and had yet to consume much of her food. read more

All the food here is so good! Pad Thai is not too sweet like other restaurants, and stir-fried dishes are savory saucy. Reliable Thai food. They've always accepted our to-go orders, even if it's a few minutes before closing-- "No problem!" Ordering online is very easy. The food is always ready on time or early, so I usually go at least 5 minutes early. Love the pot stickers, crab delight, and chicken satay. Also love the Pad Kee Mao and crispy garlic chicken (if I'm feeling super indulgent and want deep-fry!). My husband loves the curries and Pad Thai. Two criticisms; prices have gone up while portions seem smaller. I understand why but it's not always enough for decent leftovers. Other criticism is the spice level can really vary. I like a medium-hot spice and my orders have been all over the place, so not consistent or varies with whoever is cooking. Dining in is usually fine. Service is friendly and food comes out quick, just like the takeout. I've never eaten there while the place is busy, even when big events are happening at the arena across the street. The space itself is humongous and I'm not sure if it's a COVID thing but they never seem to use half of the restaurant anymore. Don't look at the walls, floors, decor, chairs too closely.
