I'm not sure if the older, short gentleman is the owner or manager, but he is such a gem. He definitely made my experience a good one. He's personable and likes to make jokes all while serving others. This was my first time visiting this establishment. It's a nice intimate size where there could be no seats available if it's a busy night. But it seemed like a slow night when I went so there were plenty of seats available. I also noticed that people were doing togo/pickup orders. Once I was seated, I placed my order for their Thai Tea, Crab Rangoon, and Pad See Ew (2 medium spice). While I waited on my food, I sipped my tea and noticed there was some nice jazz music playing in the background. This really helped calmed my nerves & senses as this is the kind of vibe I was needing. The Crab Rangoon was SO good! And the Pad See Ew was delicious too. The 2 medium spice was just right for me. Basil Fried Rice with medium spice Great flavor but way too spicy for "medium" spice. It's loaded with fresh red pepper. Would be 4 star had they offered to remake it. We ordered some of our usual dishes when getting Thai food. Beef Pad Thai, Combination Pad See Ew, Basil shrimp fried rice, Thai Tea. We also tried their Thai Zapp large seafood soup, and BBQ chicken and rice. This Pad Thai is the best I've had in a very long time! 10/10!! The Thai Zapp soup reminded me of Tom Kha, if you like Tom Yum, Tom Kha just has a more mild in sour, slightly sweeter and has coconut milk that adds a hint of creaminess to it. The man doesn't really like soup, but this was his favorite dish. That chicken on the bbq plate was so tender and juicy, texture almost reminds me of Hainanese chicken rice. Thai Tea here is a must also!! We got here at 8pm, the wait time to be seated and food wasn't long at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and service, our server was very attentive and friendly. Place is clean, good amount of seats too. They're located in the same lot as Amerigos and Massage Envy. This place is locally owned by operated by the same folks that you love at Thai Time in Jackson, MS. Included a menu for yall. If you're new to Thai food, a good starter dish is definitely Chicken Satay, Pad Thai, and Pad Kee Mao or Pad See Ew. Fyi, they also serve ramen! read more
