There are so few Ruby Tuesdays left and I happen to be in the area of enterprise on the way home from the beach and decided to stop there for lunch. I met up with a friend of mine who we actually used to wait tables at Ruby Tuesdays about 25 years ago. On Mondays, they have a special where you can get a Smashburger and a salad bar for $9.99 which I thought was a really great deal Unfortunately, the salad bar did not have any croutons which is like our favorite, but there definitely was a variety of salad dressings on there, which was good. The burger was really delicious very filling. The decor is definitely like the decor I remembered from the Ruby Tuesdays that I had near my house. It was very clean. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We were there for over an hour and didn't even receive our appetizer. Keep in mind, there were only about five customers in the entire restaurant, and it was Christmas Eve, so being busy wasn't an excuse. The food was absolutely disgusting. I've worked at a steakhouse before, and I know exactly what old beef smells like. Unfortunately, my steak was clearly old and should never have been served. For a $70 bill, the only decent thing we had was the sweet tea. The condition of the restaurant is just as bad as the food. The place is run down from the outside in, and the restrooms were beyond disgusting. I would honestly rather use a hole-in-the-ground restroom at a state park than step foot in theirs again. Completely unacceptable all around. We will never be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I took my kids to dinner while my husband is deployed (a fun treat). they are not little kids(16, 12, 11 & 8). our waitress comes to the table and says, " what do you want to drink?" gets us our waters then leaves. comes back several minutes later and sits down at the corner of our table and asks again,"what do you guys want?" my 8 y/o asked for a child's hamburger and my 11 y/o asked for a bacon cheese burger. we asked for a side of ranch for our fries. after several minutes, she brought out a plate of chicken fingers..huh? she said my daughter ordered them and we both said " no it was the kid's cheeseburger. the lady argued with me. I do not like confrontation so I just took it and said thank you. My 11 y/o never got bacon on her burger even though the bill said bacon cheese burger and we paid for a bacon cheeseburger. she never brought any ranch or crayons we asked for 3 times. My 16 y/o had mozzarella sticks that were so cold the breading peeled off the solid cheese. at the end the waitress said," oh she did order a cheeseburger I accidentally hit the wrong button...but I won't charge you for the burger". Yeah because we didn't get it! I just told my kids to eat their dinner and we will leave. The floor was a mess and it had a musty smell in there. I remember Ruby Tuesdays being nicer. My husband & I had a wonderful meal on Sunday. He loves the fall-off-the bones ribs, which are always truly delicious & fall-off-the-bone, which other restaurants claim to serve but don't really. Our waitress, Donna, has been serving there for 25 years and is such a delight. She's fast & knows how to keep the refills coming & keeps checking to be sure we have all we need. I came in today and yet again this fabulous staff never ceases to amaze me. The host Hope is always so full of life with a smile on her face and very welcoming. We have been sitting here for a while. The husband wolfed down his little scrawny crab cakes because he was starving. I took a couple of bites of the chicken sandwich and pushed it away. He has been out of tea for ten minutes. Where is a waitress? The salad bar was SAD. The food is sad. The fact that they have anyone here is sad. SAD. Hardly any customers in the building and waited over 15 minutes to be seated and then over an additional hour on food. Ridiculous!!!

Called to check on the pricing of the salad bar n spoke to Raya. She gave me the price and went to the location but when I went in no one even acknowledge me at the bar, waitresses no one even a waitress that was using the bar register. Finally Raya was shocked that I was there and asked if I needed anything and I explained that I needed to place a to go order for the salad bar and she took care of me. I then asked if I could speak to the manager on duty who apologized for the other members of the crew. Mom's food was great, service needs work even if not their section. It was very quiet but busy during lunch. If I know Raya is there will be requesting her every time due to her courtesy and professionalism and she took care of me. Came into Ruby Tuesdays around 2pm yesterday and stood at the hostess stand for probably 5 mins. Nobody came by. I looked at the salad bar because that's all I wanted and it was disgusting. A disaster with barely anything in it, food everywhere. Waited around to ask when it would be replenished and was never acknowledged by anyone. The place was also basically empty which made even less sense as to why no one was there to help people walking in. I went here a few months ago and it was awful service. I got an 8oz sirloin with a side of corn and upgraded cheese fries. I was very pleased, the side of corn was average at best. Steak was cooked just how I ordered it. My friend got the burger and he said it was quote "Honestly fire". Service has always been good here. Would recommend. read more

We have visited periodically over the last five years. The wait times for food has dramatically increased. Even more so, the time it takes to pay out has averaged 25 minutes for our last several visits. Our server, a nice gentleman, was hard to get hold of. Looking from our table, you could see he was helping out in the kitchen. Not enough staff. On the last visit, the credit card machine had several issues thus extending our time. Several patrons were frustrated as well. Management should limit the number of people they let in to provide timely service. They are too under-staffed to serve the number of people they let in. Couple this with technical issues with payment and we have visited for the last time for quite a while until they fix some internal processes. So, are you looking for possibly the most horrific dining experience in America? You can find it here at Ruby Tuesday's in Enterprise, Alabama. Um, wow. Where to begin. We were on the road and wanted a place to grab a quick snack and a couple beers, and this was really the only place in the area - not really much else to choose from around here. Perhaps this is why this Ruby's remains in business. Upon entering there was no hostess - no matter, we usually sit at the bar so we just walked in and sat down. The bartender seemed to be a little overwhelmed and not capable of multi-tasking... so we sat for 5min or so before hearing the limited selection of bottle beers (taps looked to be non-functional so we didn't even ask). So anyway, we had drinks, got a menu a few minutes later and ordered a couple apps that were simple, and hopefully, un-screw-upable by the kitchen (they were out of a few things on the menu as well - wanted the sampler but they were out of pretzels!!!!). As we waited, we heard a lady that had been waiting for over an hour for a togo order, it had been sitting in the kitchen and nobody cared... she talked to the manager and the manager just said sorry and have a nice night. As I looked around the room, you could just see customers at their tables, waiting on this incredibly slow service, with despair written on their faces. We had a stack of napkins in front of us at the bar - which was handy as we didn't have to ask, but at one point the bartender asked my wife, "hey, can you hand me a couple napkins? Thanks!". Um, wow - never been asked to help out before like that. You could hear the staff laughing and carrying on back in the kitchen with no cares in the world - certainly no cares about serving customers. There were two guys sitting at a table close to the bar, being waited on by our lovely bartender... after they paid and left you could here her back in the kitchen "Those guys just left me a $2 tip on a $50 ticket"..... ummm, yes sweetie - they did. Because when everything sucks from top to bottom that's what you do. When she came back out she lamented to us the same thing - we tried to be supportive, while at the same time shocked about her telling us this. In my mind I was thinking, yes... a 1% tips seems appropriate about now. Anyway, we survived. Wife left a bigger tip than I would have - 18%. She's nice like that. I haven't been to one of these in ages! But when my friend kept mentioning to me how badly she wanted to go here for an impromptu get-together lunch for much needed celebratory purposes, I couldn't turn her request down. Upon ordering the bella mushroom sirloin, however, I was promptly reminded as to why, whilst this place is fine enough in its own universe, it's still not exactly one of those infamous chain restaurants that I'd go out of my way to dine in. Service, pricing, and decorum were all fine and, again...this sort of place works fine in its own universe. But the minute I cut into my steak and tasted it, it promptly reminded me of Applebee's: the K-Mart edition. If you don't understand that, all that means is the steak (whilst technically edible and possibly even delectable in its own right) was mediocre at best. Why did I order a steak at a Ruby Tuesday of all places, you ask? Quite frankly, I was simply feeling brave and adventurous; dare I say...even curious? That isn't to say I didn't enjoy my meal, however. Though I attribute the majority of my "good time had by most" to stellar company (you're welcome, Kayla *winks*). The steak was fine, though I expected a bit more seasoning after reading the description on the menu. The baked potato was about as much as I'd expect from a place like this. It tasted fine, but it could have been hotter. I dunno...maybe they were afraid I'd get third degree burns on my tongue if they had served me an actual HOT potato, but whatever. That Caesar salad though....oh, let's talk about this for a second. The salad itself tasted alright, but it was weird. It felt as if it didn't really have any *dressing*, per se. Nah, instead...it was like they were relying on the shredded cheese to act as the "dressing" and it was literally encapsulating all the croutons and the bottom of the plate. The croutons themselves were...well...I'm not sure if they consisted of some type of wheat bread or what. But they weren't quite as crunchy as I'd expect. But the salad overall was edible enough to give them a point. End of the day, Ruby Tuesday is what it is. Although at this point, I can't really determine if it's any better or worse than Applebee's or Chili's or any of their other usual suspects of competitive casual dining. Would I go to another one? Eh....maybe in another few years and only if I'm hot up for a cheeseburger or something. In the meantime, I'd say R.T. is worthy of a whopping 3 oddly dressed Caesar salads with dry dressing out of 5. Got a steak and asked for rare. They gave me a well done steak. The waiter said he would get another one. Literally 60 seconds later came out with a slab of cold meat. The chef said he doesn't understand what I mean by rare. That could be found with a simply google search. It was incredibly rude to bring me a raw slab of meat and I will never return. Plus, the food is priced higher than all competitors and the place is trashed and filthy. The waiter was great. The kitchen staff clearly belongs in a different line of work. Placed an online order (tipped in advance) and went to pickup. Called the number on the curbside pickup sign--no one answered. Entered the restaurant and took a seat in front of the "pick up here" placard. The dining room was about one-fourth full. Two different staff members walked by without saying a word. Another fixed a couple drinks in front of me without a word or eye contact. I took out my phone to start this yelp review when someone finally asked if I was helped (the same staffer that made a few drinks a foot away from me seven minutes prior). I ordered snow crab dinner they gave me nothing to eat it with stated they do not have the cracking thing they gave me no butter no napkins I stabbed myself many times I do not have strong hands. I ordered more food but it took an hour to attempt those snow crabs. That entree was 24.98 plus everything else was a 100.00 ticket. I just finished eating dinner here for the second time ever, April 7th being the first. I was not impressed either time. The portions do not match the prices. I typically take food home and both times we've been here, I have been able to eat it all and not feel full because it's so pathetic. This time I ordered an 8 ounce steak. Now, I typically only get 6 ounces from other restaurants, but I ordered the 8 oz because I knew from the first time that the sides were skimpy. There is no way the steak I received was 8 ounces. The sides were ridiculous. The presentation was also not good at all. The service was just okay. Our server was very nice but slow at coming by our table, brining the checks, etc. I had our server confirm that I did in fact receive an 8 ounce steak, which he did, and then the manager came by our table. She was very nice. She offered us a free dessert which we accepted and were grateful for. However, the dessert was also less than impressive. It was the chocolate cake. Everyone at the table agreed it tasted stale. I am hard to displease when it comes to food but it's safe to say that I probably will not be returning unless I hear that they improve their service and portions. read more

Poor service...took forever to take drink order and then food order. The food was even worse. My Asiago chicken appeared to have been dumped out of a freezer bag and microwaved. It was inedible. The chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese were disgusting. Tenders were basically scraps of chicken skin that were breaded. Went to this restaurant tonight for dinner and wasn't happy. Been here a couple times and the service has been soso. Tonight, went in, service was slow and there was not a lot of people. The waitress wasn't too attentive and the table was disgusting (refer to the picture). After using three baby wipes, the table was finally not sticky. After talking with the waitress, we were told that it was because they wax the tables... Hmm... That's about the extent of the concern from the staff. I ordered hamburger and it was pretty bloody for medium well. It was more like medium rare. Overall food was average, but needless slow service and cleanliness. During COVID, we've been going to Ruby Tuesday for the BOGO entrees. I have to say, it's a steal and I'm grateful for the friendliness, quality of food and price that we've gotten for our latest meals. HUGE thank you to a special member of your staff, Monika! She has been taking our countless orders and providing us with outstanding service. We've taken notice of how hard she's being working during this time, as she's there literally every other day that we have ordered due to the BOGO. Ruby Tuesday, she's a keeper! Only bummer is that it seems that by having only one front runner and one chef during the evening rush, there's a lot of customers having to wait because of only one person expected to answer the calls, take payments, fill extra sauce requests, etc and one chef expected to cook allllllll of the food for the orders. Best ribs in town hands down!!! Hubby is VERY PICKY and he has tried every rib joint between Enterprise to PCB and will ONLY EAT RIBS at Ruby Tuesdays! They are soft and flake right off the bone. I am a huge fan of their Bourbon Salmon! Tasty with just the right amount of sauce, flakey and melts in your mouth! Great salad bar and yummmy croutons! You will appreciate the excellent customer service! One time we placed a To-Go order that got a bit messed up. Not only did they remedy the situation, the manager was so kind and gracious! I love Ruby Tuesday dine in but every time I do RubyTueGo I seem to have the same issue, which is the amount of food for the price & plating. I don't know why they don't use plates that divide the food without aluminum foil on the bottom so that the food can be easily reheated in the microwave.. my order was a hot mess, mash potatoes was too soupy $15 for this. read more

We used to enjoy this place about 2yrs ago and had a few issues with them here and there and TRIED to give them another chance. After the 3x time in a row no...DONE I don't know the issue of making a steak Med/Rare, it's really not that hard. Every time it's over cooked!! I'm not even sure their cooks know how to season a steak or understand an order. When I asked for double mash potatos I ended up with 1 thing of potatos and 1 thing of broccoli. Every time we get a to go order we have to check it cause about 87% of the time it's wrong. I like Ruby Tuesdays, mostly because they have a good salad bar, and I usually go on off times because I work strange hours. I went there today at 5 pm and the place was mostly empty. I was seated in the bar area and got waited on reasonably quick. I usually order as soon as they take me drink order because I don't like to wait for my food. I ordered a coke and entree with the salad bar. I got my salad and my drink shortly after. I never got my entree. After I finished my salad and waited about 20 minutes or so, a management type lady came by and asked if I needed anything. I asked for another coke and continued to wait. About 10 minutes later, The waitress/bartender came out and said they lost my ticket and asked what I had ordered. I told her to just bring me the bill for salad and coke. She brought me a bill for 17 bucks, I paid it and left. Service has been shaky the last few times I went and it seems worse when you are seated in the bar. I was a little upset that I was charged full price for the salad bar. I ordered it with an entree and I think it's about 2.99 that way. I got charge 17 bucks. It's like I got punished for not receiving what I ordered. I didn't have the patience to argue, but I should have. All around, a rotten experience. read more

My family eats here traditionally after thanksgiving and have never had any problems before. After this year, I doubt we will return. Tanisha made our experience unforgettable. We were charged for salad bar plates for sharing tomatoes and cucumbers with our 9 month old babies which would have been ok if she had been more professional and kind about it. Instead, she told us because we got the salad bar we would have to wait for to go boxes for our samplers because other customers were requesting them (3 people in the building). And that she had noticed we got these babies their own plates which she would be charging us for. Note, the two had nothing to do with each other and this was an incredibly rude approach. She proceeded to explain that the food wasn't meant to be shared and if we were trying to eat for free we should have went somewhere else. We weren't a difficult group, we didn't get a single refill, we cleaned and organized our plates and seats, the kids weren't wild, she was reminded one of us had ordered a side of fries which she never brought to the table even after the reminder and we still tipped her well. I'm not sure if she was simply unhappy to be there that day or just not a nice person in general but she absolutely ruined the whole experience for us. I have always received great service in a timely manner and the food was freshly prepared. My wife and I visited the Enterprise AL location today for lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly. Unfortunately that's where the visit went bad. We had sat there in our booth for 10 minutes and no waitress was to be found. The restaurant was about 20% full. At the very least someone would have asked us for our drink order while we reviewed the menu. It just didn't happen so we left. It wasn't that they were busy but it appeared they were short staffed. read more

The grill was out of order when we had dinner at this location, I was hoping to get the salad bar with entree special but the dish I wanted wasn't available due to the grill and the server said they wouldn't make an exception to give me a different choice due to the grill being down.
