Had a great dine-in experience! Very accommodating staff. We walked in pretty late for dinner during holiday season and even though they were closing soon, they didn't send us back. I ordered delivery from here a few days ago via doordash. They have many really intriguing appetizers and more importantly, vegetarian appetizers. They have both saigon fresh rolls and crispy thai spring rolls. They also have both chicken or vegetable gyoza however I'm wondering whether this was an option on doordash because I cant' see myself not getting that. They also have CURRY PUFFS: chicken, onions, potatoes in a puff pastry. They have my PET PEEVE agadeshi tofu with bonito flakes which is such a vegetarian tease. I was tempted to order this without the bonito flakes but I couldn't take the chance that they would fuck that up. The weather is becoming crisp which primed my appetite for soup and I went with the soft tofu soup. I somehow managed to harness the willpower required to skip over the noodle and fried rice section and decided to order the spicy green beans entree with tofu. saigon fresh rolls: these rolls were MASSIVE and absolutely stuffed to the brim with fresh romaine, carrots, noodles, avocado, and noodles. They included an absolutely incredible dipping sauce. I kid you not when I say that I could barely fit in my mouth and eating them is actually a little bit of a work out. soft tofu soup: very good. It's a nice and light enhancement to the meal with a tasty broth, soft tofu, and some veggies spicy green beans: EXCEPTIONAL. This dish had an incredible flavor and the tofu cubes were massive and the vegetables were plentiful. One of the best sautee dishes I've had in recent memory. Based on food alone, this was quite the tasty Thai place located in downtown Marlboro. Unfortunately they were completely understaffed, but the waitress did everything to try to make it a good experience. The bar did not seem to have a regular bartender, as our food came before our drinks, even though we ordered them well ahead of the food. Loved this place! Came here for a date night out during COVID. They had a jumbo hand sanitizer section right when you walk in, everyone was wearing masks and all the indoor tables were very spread out. The silverware arrived wrapped in cloth napkins which was comforting. The food was AMAZING! Prices are quite average for a Thai restaurant and they even had delicious mocktails! My boyfriend is a very picky eater and will only go to Thai restaurants if they have a specific dish, and they had it and it was the best he's had. First time ordering from here. Got two orders for pickup. The online ordering was very simple and straight-forward. It was a nice spot when we got there. It was street parking only and they blocked the entrance so I am guessing it is takeout only during this time of the pandemic. Also, I think you have to make a note in the online orders for them to include napkins and plastic utensils. Otherwise, you only get the food when you pick up. Everything was clean from what I can see when at the restaurant. Wanted to test the waters so had to go with a pad thai. Got the pad thai crispy chicken. According to the menu, it was rice noodle stir fried with egg, bean sprout, scallion, and crushed peanut and topped with crispy battered fried chicken. It was not the best pad thai I have had, as I believe Boston has better options but I think the pad thai wasn't bad. Especially when there are few Thai spots in the area. The quality of the crispy chicken is like it is from a fast food Chinese takeout. The pad thai itself lacked that pad thai flavor I loved from Thai restaurants in the city. Maybe, it's the lack of spice or onions or zest of lime. I also did not see any crushed peanuts in my pad thai. Next, we got the crab meat fried rice. According to the menu, it is a traditional Thai fried rice with egg, scallions, cilantro, carrot, pea and crab meat. I thought this order tasted good. I loved the crab meat in the fried rice. We can always complain that there should be more crab meat but I thought it was okay. It was very flavorful. I love the ratios of rice, vegetables, and crab meat. It was a little pricey for fried rice but I thought it was worth it for experience. This is also a tad oily than what I like but this is just me being nit-picky. Overall, it was a good experience. Looking up at Yelp and stoped here for a quick dinner after 3-h of driving from Fishkill, NY. The restaurant is right next to City Hall. Not much activity in the evening hours, maybe because the heavy snowfall on the previous day. I ordered Salmon Basil. It came with sautéed eggplant and a beautiful brown/white/black rice pyramid. What a great halal find! I'm pretty sure I have been to this place when it was a different restaurant. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Of course since it was halal, I ordered chicken! We had the grilled chicken wraps for our appetizer. These were so much fun to eat! I came here for lunch during the weekday and was seated instantly even though it was very packed! I got the lunch box of yellow curry which included jasmine rice, Thai salad, and spring rolls. The curry and everything on the box tasted EXTREMELY AMAZING. Probably one of the best Thai curries I've had in Massachusetts! I'm only giving this place a 4/5 because the curry portion was tiny! I'm used to a big bowl but this was smaller than one cup. Even though the whole box satisfied me and I didn't leave hungry, I would've appreciated a bigger portion for $15-16! The pad Thai was covered in red pepper flakes to the point that it was inedible (about a tablespoon dropped in a pile on the top). Waited 30+ minutes behind my scheduled takeout time along with at least 10-15 other people. It looked like only two people were working total which included staff for dine-in. They were drowning. I'm guessing overall quality is better on a typical day but probably not going back to find out unfortunately. I'll give it two stars for the cheap prices and the ambience inside. read more
