D- Vegetable Pad Thai

The food is delicious. The service is awesome. They have tons of seating areas. They're very polite. This place is very homie.

Racha Thai was off their game on this visit, unless this is their new level of play. As I passed by the buffet ($18.95), I noticed several items that I'd like to try. Eschewing my usual distrust of buffets, I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, this small leap of faith further ingrained my distrust of buffets, which often are long on quantity and short on quality. It's not that all of the buffet food was bad, rather that it was very cool. Some items were tasty, like the chicken curry (albeit cool). While other dishes were not good, as the spring rolls were cold and unappetizing, and the chicken wings cool, overcooked and dry. My co-diner ordered off the menu, selecting: The Golden Bag $6 - Steamed wonton skin, stuffed with ground pork, crab meat, shrimp, black mushrooms, scallions and ginger. Served with sweet soy sauce. Bangkok Ravioli $6 - Crispy chicken dumpling. Served with sweet soy sauce. Siam Fried Rice with Chicken $12 - Tomato, chicken, onions, scallion, curry powder. The Golden Bags were very light and tasty, and the Bangkok Ravioli was nicely fried and delicious. The Fried Rice however, was overcooked, dry and unappetizing. The service was prompt, though nothing was suggested when I mentioned the buffet was cold. For example, they could have offered a different entree or a complimentary appetizer, but instead they opted to clear our dishes and brought the check. Overall this visit was a major departure from our prior experiences and a big disappointment. Perhaps they holiday "B" team was cooking on this evening. Then again, as this was the first buffet I tried, perhaps it is par for the course. A 2.5 star experience, rounded down to 2 stars, as the staff didn't seem to care that the buffet was cold.

Back again, still fantastic! They make authentic Thai food. When you ask for Thai Hot, that's what you get. Love it.

Duck with plum sauce. The sauce was too watery, not much flavor.

This review is for the spice level. We ordered 3/5 spice level and it was too spicy. It made it unpleasant to eat.

Amazing food, good service, beyond-reasonable prices. Best Thai I've had on the east coast.

Our waitress was pleasant and prompt throughout our dinner. On our first visit my co-diner ordered the fried scallops, and thought they were very tasty. So, on this visit we ordered: * 2 - Fried Scallop Baskets (one with regular fries, the other with sweet potato fries) * Chicken Wings Side with BBQ Sauce Our order arrived quite quickly, and I immediately sampled a sweet potato fry. Tasty! Hot, crispy, and nicely cooked. The same could be said for the regular fries. It's unfortunate so many restaurants are French fried challenged, with fries that are served too cool and limp. Kudos to Juicy Seafood for great fries. The scallops were also tasty, with or without the bread crumbs (which come off very easily). They were fresh tasting, very hot and very juicy. However, the chicken wings were not good, they were overcooked, overloaded with sauce and difficult to eat. I wouldn't recommend those. Overall, we were happy with our dinner and would be delighted to return.

We love seafood, and I'm often in the mood for high quality fried seafood in particular. The seafood is fresh, not greasy, cooked perfectly, and complemented by great sides. I'm not an oyster person but.. I couldn't resist trying them and they are excellent! Tuna tartare topping recommended. Fisherman's platter- HUGE and tasty! I tried this to sample several dishes at once. I almost always finish my food and I took half of this home! I did have a pre-meal and some oysters but still.. Crab cakes- big and really fresh crab forward! Unlike so many other places, any breading stays in the background. Lobster roll- great brioche roll and plenty of lobster meat. We will be back to bring our seafood-loving family and friends!

This happened after they gave our 12 oysters to the wrong table then took 18 more minutes to reshuch 12 oysters. I got a fish sandwich. There was just some crumbled pieces of fish on it. Meanwhile other tables got the fish and chips and it was over flowing with fish. I don't get it. Wife got the lobster roll, it was just ok, the roll was soggy so she just ate the lobster. The glasses of wine are insanely priced. My daughter got a ceasar salad that had mostly white romaine, the grilled chicken was bland and dry. The best thing they made was the tuna tar tar, ironically. Then to top off a not great 200.00 experience for 2 people, it took the waitress 15 more minutes to bother to come back and run the card. Maybe drinks and apps on the deck only. Very dissapointing. Lesson learned which I knew... don't get seafood so far from the coast.

Friends ordered the salmon and mushroom ravioli and both really enjoyed their meals. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Not much to look at from outside nestled in a tight residential neighborhood with limited street parking but complimentary valet service. Going inside of the restaurant ,however, the space is much more upscale and very nice. Prices were what I would expect for an upscale menu of this quality with most entrees between $25 and $40. I look forward to returning!

Mare E Monti - Exceptional Authentic Italian & Seafood Pasta Spot in Worcester, MA…read more Mare E Monti is an exceptional Italian gem -- probably home to the best seafood pasta I've ever had. I was in town ahead of a half marathon near Hampton Beach on Sunday. After a long drive and a surprise call that my extended family was touring the East Coast nearby, we decided to meet halfway -- and Worcester made perfect sense. I booked a table for eight at 8 PM on Saturday. We miscounted our party, which led to about a 45-minute wait, but honestly, that just gave us more time to catch up. The interior strikes a lovely balance -- rustic yet modern, cozy yet romantic, and unmistakably Italian in feel. Starters We kicked off with two plates of Calamari Fritti -- classic native calamari, lightly fried and tossed with cherry peppers and a delicate butter sauce. Absolutely delicious; I had to restrain myself from finishing the whole plate. Complimentary garlic bread with olive oil was also served, and I stopped myself at 2-3 slices to save room for the race-fueling carbs to come. For salad, I chose the Insalata Casalinga -- crisp field greens, grape tomatoes, julienne carrots, cucumbers, red onion, and imported olives in a light vinaigrette. Simple, fresh, and highly recommended. The Main Event The real reason I chose Mare E Monti was simple: carb loading. I went with the Pasta con Cozze e Fagioli -- sautéed mussels in a garlic white wine sauce with diced tomatoes and cannellini beans, tossed with linguine. It was everything I'd hoped for: flavorful yet light, satisfying without being heavy. The mussels were tender, the beans added substance, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Others at the table tried the Ravioli di Aragosta (lobster ravioli) on my recommendation. I snagged a bite -- and it was heavenly. Rich, delicate, and beautifully balanced. Final Thoughts Dinner here was the perfect pre-race meal -- nourishing without weighing me down. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service attentive, and the food consistently excellent. Even parking was simple; I found easy street parking just around the corner (though valet is also available). Oh, and the next morning? I ran a personal best in my half marathon -- just over 1 hour and 20 minutes. I'd like to think the perfect plate of pasta helped fuel that finish. All in all, Mare E Monti is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine and standout seafood pasta in the Worcester area. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in Massachusetts.
