Dr. Aliabadi is hands-down the best doctor we have ever met with. Our daughter has been through hell and seemingly hundreds of doctors, specialists, and treatments. Being told "there's nothing else you can do," "it's all in your head," and "you'll just have to learn to live with the pain." We've been through multiple surgeries, diets, medicines (daily shots included), BiPAP machines, therapists, neurologists, psychologists, and the list goes on. Dr. Aliabadi gave our daughter something she hadn't had in years: HOPE. I spent more time at Dr. Aliabadi's office filling our paperwork stating I won't sue her that I did actually speaking to her or the nurse. The paperwork simply for not suing her took me 30 minutes to just sign. I just want to state - I have been through the wringer the past 5 years with my health and NEVER in my life have I had a doctor ask me to sign an entire packet stating away my all of rights to practically anything that could go wrong. Besides that, Dr Aliabadi lacked compassion and bedside manner. At the time of the physical exam I explained to her that I have severe trauma from sexual assault and asked her to go slowly and gently - to which she responded no and said it's better to go fast and get it done. Then she proceeded to do her exam while I cried in pain the entire time. My legs and pelvis were tightening up so much from how rough she was that she had to hold them open. I then spoke to her about how difficult it was being in menopause at 21 years old (because of the mental health issues and the physical health issues that came with it) - and because she was pushing a combination of hormonal treatments that would put my hormones into a menopausal range. Instead of being compassionate she asked me "do you want to be in menopause and have some small thyroid and adrenal issues or do you wanna bounce back and forth from doctor miserable for the rest of your life?" When I explained that I am very scared of doing more hormone therapy she then continued to tell me I'll never get better. Continuously stating "my way is the only way" "my way is the best way" and reassuring me that if I don't follow her treatment I will live in pain and be miserable for the rest of my life in and out of surgeries and doctors offices. I left the office bawling. I was in physical pain from her exam and just emotionally distraught. I would not recommend a soul to her. She is absolutely heartless and simply cannot take any feedback, questions, or hold space for any emotions. I'm curious if the reason she's so highly spoken of is because she uses such intense treatments that numb (don't fix, numb) symptoms (so it seems that she's helping) - sad thing is is they don't fix anything and they cause horrendous issues down the line... which she denies. read more

If you're Middle Eastern, Persian, Jewish, or Armenian, having pain and no one can figure out what it is, the first thing you should be doing is getting checked for Mediterranean fever, but she will not tell you this. She prefers to cut you up and make you pay over and over for doctor visits. Take it from someone who maxed out all of his credit cards because he wanted the best for his wife and spent thousands of dollars on doctor visits and operations. She didn't even bother to follow up after the last operation because she knew I went credit card by credit card and I was maxed out. You gotta get tested for Mediterranean fever; it's a genetic test. A lot of people have it. It causes pain. It doesn't come out in any scans or any ultrasounds. I'm not some brokey that's complaining because she's expensive. I went through the process and saw no results. Don't waste time waiting for approval from your insurance or medical. Go pay out-of-pocket and get tested for Mediterranean fever; other than the money you'll save yourself from going through pain and suffering. I sought out Dr. Aliabadi's care after receiving a diagnosis of severe uterine scarring/ Ascherman's Syndrome. I needed care from an expert OB/GYN. I had previously been told by another provider from a different practice that my condition would require multiple surgeries and that there were no guarantees. This was so distressing to me after already having two surgeries to remove fibroids (which resulted in the uterine scarring). Dr. Aliabadi and her excellent team were such a relief to me!!!! Great experience doing delivery with dr Aliabadi- I always felt confident that I'm in good hands. She is always available to answer questions and address concerns. We transferred from another medical center and she noticed that the baby is too small and urged me immediately to eat more and the situation was fixed! The previous medical center saw me only once per month and this caused them to miss that part. We saw dr Aliabadi weekly when she wanted closer follow up or bi-weekly. Although it's my first delivery, it was very easy, just like she promised. Kimmy, her office manager was extremely helpful and made sure to check on every tiny detail we asked, made sure that if we saw other drs nearby, all the appointments will be bundled together to save us unnecessary trips. Dr. Aliabadi cured my fear of going to the gynecologist. My first pap test was so traumatic that I avoided getting another one for 10(!) years. Dr. A made it feel like nothing. I'm not kidding - I felt NOTHING. I almost wanted to accuse her of pretending to perform the test. Another reason I felt a need to visit the gyno again was because of some issues I had been experiencing. Dr. A diagnosed me with PCOS and told me exactly how I would be treated. I am 38 with PCOS...there I said it. I was diagnosed around 33 and was given Metformin to help..why? My previous Dr. at the time didn't know why, just heard in medical journals this was the next step to helping PCOS sufferers. Well, the smarty that I am, remembered my diabetic dad taking metformin for his diabetes, and I thought why?? if the Dr. couldn't explain the benefit then he doesn't know what he's talking about. Fast forward 3 years later, when I met Dr. A, she thoroughly explained the benefits and how having PCOS affects, insulin and my body's way of reacting to it and exacerbating the symptoms (weight gain, hair loss/excess...etc). She took the time to draw out a diagram of how and why Metformin, weight and diet helps PCOS suffers like me looking to get pregnant. Needless to say, she knew her stuff and thats what I love about Dr. A, she doesn't just tell you to do something, she will explain why and how it affects, so you can make the informed decision. We got pregnant and welcomed our first little girl in late October this year. Dr. A was the best. She and her staff were very attentive, had the best bedside manner, and were on top of every possible question a nervous "advanced maternal age" pregnant neurotic person could have. She connected us with the best Maternal Fetal Specialist (Dr. Steven Rad). And despite the excessive monitoring I had to encounter from both Drs. I am grateful and thankful. I was induced early at 37 weeks, bc Dr. A and Dr. Rad both do not mess around with high blood pressures. Oh and by the way...from start to finish my induction to holding my LO in my arms, was less the 24 hours...she called it. Actual time of active labor less than 2 hours. Dr. Aliabadi is THE BEST. Actually, I had gone to another doctor a few months ago regarding some concerns I had. I was pretty disappointed and left a negative review for that doctor which is something that I RARELY do. I knew something was wrong with me but no doctor had the intelligence and expertise to be able to PROPERLY diagnose me...until Dr. Aliabadi. Without me even being a prior patient, when her amazing staff found out that i was in the ER over the weekend and that I needed to see a specialist as soon as possible they immediately got me in to Dr. Aliabadi's first available appointment. Dr. Aliabadi was super thorough and didn't even rely on the ultrasound report that the ER gave me, she did her own ultrasound. When she diagnosed me I felt this overwelming sense of relief that I hadn't had in years. See, I knew something wasn't right, but every doctor I went to just did the normal tests and told me I was fine and that everything was normal. Long story short, I required surgery and Dr. Aliabadi's staff went above and beyond to get me scheduled for surgery that week so I could be on the road to recovery sooner rather than later. After surgery Dr. Aliabadi AND her staff followed up with me to make sure I was OK. Her staff also helped me gather the right documents to submit to my insurance without any delays or issues. My surgery was last week and according to Google I should be in recovery for 2-6 weeks but I'm already fully functional and feeling better. Then she scheduled a really painful invasive hydro-bull something that dilated my cervix and messed me up. THEN, while on the table, they were like DO YOU WANT AN IUD SINCE WE'VE GOT YOU HERE? and it cost me, NO JOKE, 3K... I'll leave a disclaimer-- I know Dr. Aliabadi because I've rotated with her as a PA student and she has lectured to our class on dysmenorrhea/menstrual irregularities, including endometriosis, among other gynecologic issues. She is an expert and wouldn't be asked to be a lecturer if she wasn't so. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. Take it from someone who wasn't too sure about women's health-- her passion for the subject is contagious. Dr. Aliabadi is literally the queen of endometriosis. I'm actually shocked by the review that mentions that other doctors told the reviewer she was fine with "kissing ovaries" (a finding of severe endometriosis) and didn't need to treat it. So many women are undiagnosed with this condition and it leads to infertility. A lot of other doctors don't know about it-- but it is something that could have been prevented if it were diagnosed earlier by a competent doctor. One of the best things about Dr. Aliabadi is that she does ultrasound in office herself, that way you are maintaining continuity and can know right away instead of having to go somewhere else to get the scan, then come back for the results. If you have a history of painful periods please ask your doctor about endometriosis. Ultimately, if you want a quality doctor who knows her stuff, passionate and kind, come to dr. Aliabadi!. I deleted a review I made of Dr. Aliabadi because they gave me my money back and asked if I would. I realize now that because I had a bad experience, I deserve to let others know and make their mind up for themselves on whether they should go to her or not. Why shouldn't I be able to just share what happened? I hope whoever decides to go to her reads my entire review so they understand why I even made it and am so upset. My original reason for coming in to see her was for a sort of "injury" I had made in my private area. I described my unique issue to the front desk, and they informed me that they would let her know of my problem and see if she can even help me. I did this with every gynecologist, because I know my situation was a little different, and didn't want us to waste each others' time. They called me back, said that she heard my situation, and had an answer/could help. I came in. I told her my issue like I did over the phone like she asked. She proceeds to check out the area, then without saying a word about my problem, informs me that she is going to use an internal ultrasound to check something else out. Without me having much time to think (and realize how expensive this was gonna be) I say go ahead and she does. (Afterwards, at the front, I will be told to pay 1,000 dollars, for seeing her and for the ultrasound). She discovers something and soon after informs me I have PCOS. She then says, "listen, you and I both know you need to lose weight." I have a lot of body image problems, and am very insecure, and in the middle of trying to get better. In the moment, my heart dropped but I just agreed with her and said yes. And it was also embarrassing because someone else was in the room, I believe it was a PA. I just felt embarrassed as I watched the doctor act all condescending and someone else was watching it happen. She was condescending. She also said "The moment you walked in, me and the others knew what you had." What, just because of my appearance, of being overweight, you say I have something? I know that in our society, weight has become something we focus on for every health answer. I know it is correlated into basically any health issue, and we are told that weight loss means you will be healthy again. But she also related weight loss to my injury, which of course has nothing at all to do with healing scar tissue. She said that the accident I had down there, would be solved with my weight loss. This made me realize that she didn't understand that the injury I had wasn't something that could be fixed with a good weight and self esteem check. This was something I painfully and embarrassingly described in detail for her to completely ignore until I had to bring it up myself, after we finished talking about PCOS. She also told me to use an injection, that many use for weight loss. Well, I have had a reaction from this injection, similar to what look like fresh stretch marks. I went to 3 other doctors after, and ALL said that she should have know about this well known side effect. Dr. Aliabadi said she had no clue. I was told they will let every new patient know. I really, really hope that you guys will actually do that. Now, I have long thick red marks from these injections, and I am told they are permanent. This is something that has caused me a lot of depression, especially because people notice and ask what happened to me. Overall, I am upset about this experience, and have been for months now. I know she sort of meant well, but you can tell she had one answer for every patient, thinks highly of herself because of the name she has and her shiny, boujee, influencer welcoming office (if you go there you'll see what I mean). She didn't even help me with my original issue, that she said she could. And when we spoke about it in our meet, she literally did not even say anything about it and was leaving the room, until I asked her "Wait! What about what I came in for?" And she says "do nothing. weight loss will help." And I just sat there in shock. I have every right to feel the way I do about this experience. What makes a good doctor, is one who listens to their patient and doesn't make them feel bad. (Kimmy, if you're reading this, I just want to say you were very kind to me. Dr. Aliabadi is unlike any doctor I have ever encountered. She is not only passionate about women's healthcare and advocacy, she is compassionate, knowledgeable, approachable, and goes above and beyond for her patients. She diagnosed me with endometriosis after I went unhelped by other doctors for years. Her surgical expertise and experience are evident in her quick, efficient work. When I was concerned shortly after surgery that my cramping was abnormal, she saw me immediately and was completely invested in my care and recovery. Dr Aliabadi is a godsend. After finally seeing her, she diagnosed me with endometriosis and PCOS after years of my symptoms being ignored by other doctors. I am finally being treated and with great success. Unfortunately my delay in seeing her has led me to not being able to have children, but at least I am no longer suffering. However, I waited over an hour for my appointment & other people who knew the doctor were seen before me, so for that reason I had to remove a star. I was seen by Dr Aliabadi yesterday and I've been looking for the right words to express my gratitude and appreciation for her. I have been in excruciating pelvic pain for years now and have seen 7 doctors, only to be met with comments like "hmm. Okay. Wow. Yeah, interesting. Yeah, you're fine".
