Steamed pork bao, lemongrass tofu, fried spring rolls (mini egg rolls)

Solid 3.5 but I'll round up for the friendly service. I went ham crazy and spent about $140 here. The vietnamese spring roll variety pack was tasty but the rolls were so small. The fried spring rolls were tasty and a great little snack. This is a good spot if you want a one stop shop, but I'd go to Huy's down the street for more flavorful banh mi sandwiches.

So this is my bánh cam đường. It is totally raw. You would think they would check at least 1 or 2 to make sure they're cooked through before selling it.

Great variety of food and desserts. I'm from Houston with a large population of viet restaurants...I'm pretty impressed.

The flavor was good and the onions were nicely sautéed. The only critique i have for this dish is that the pasta was definitely overcooked, and mushy. Ambiance: decent size restaurant, multiple booths and tables. a spot to take family or go on a date; has really good parking. Service: server was nice. keep in mind that they charge 20% for parties over 5!

From the outside it is modest and easy to miss but inside it feels warm casual and full of life. It has that neighborhood energy where you can tell people have been coming for years. The service is quick and straightforward yet still friendly in a genuine way. The pho is the highlight. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful with a clean finish that shows it has been simmered for hours. It is the kind of broth you keep sipping even after everything else is gone. The noodles are cooked just right and the portions are generous. The meat is tender and fresh and pairs perfectly with the herbs lime and sauces on the side. It is not trying to be trendy or upscale and that is exactly why it works. If you want comforting authentic pho that hits every time this place delivers.

What a great find! All the food I tried was delicious and the service was also great!…read more Started with the egg rolls and had a great flavor and yummy fish sauce to dip in. My friend had the tofu spring rolls and highly enjoyed them! I had the chicken and veggies egg noodles and it was flavorful and a hefty portion. Leftovers were taken home and heated up later -still delicious flavor. I had a bite of my friend's caramelized catfish and it was very well prepared. I also enjoyed a lemonade and it was tasty and sweet! It's not overly glamorous inside but clean with a lot of seating. We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and by the time we left st 6:45 it was a packed house.

Can't say the interior is that much better either, though it does remind me of Vietnam and family gatherings. Service is slow, and some things take longer to come out than others. If you care about starting your meal at the same time, I would recommend ordering things to share since it can take 15 minutes between the first dish and last to come out. The food here is good! I don't typically get Vietnamese because I eat enough of it at home, but there's a good variety here where it's worth coming for. What my family, and my cousin in particular, really like from here is the bò lúc lắc or shaking beef. The spring rolls that you make yourself is also quite nice.
