Absolutely lovely coffee shop! We came here twice during our stay in Anchorage and enjoyed it each time. Combo coffee and plant shop, and it really gives it so much charm and character. Such a relaxing vibe. Was definitely busy both times we stopped by - had to wait about 20 minutes for our drinks - but they were efficient. There were just so many people placing orders. Drinks were delicious. Came during the fall, so got to try their fall specials. Loved their Blueberry Crumble Latte. Blueberry is one of my favorites in a drink, and you could really taste the blueberry in this one. Also enjoyed their Harvest Jasmine Fog. I usually like to sit and drink my coffee after ordering, so the only downside is they don't really have seating options inside their shop. It was just one couch with a table. But with all their plant merchandise, it's understandable why there isn't any space for tables. Overall, a great choice for coffee. Highly recommend. read more

Honestly, probably the best coffee shop I've been to during my stay in Anchorage. The area inside was charming and full of plants that made you feel earthy if you know what I mean. The workers were friendly and adjusted the sweetness of my pumpkin spice coffee since I didn't want it too sweet. I highly recommend coming here for some good coffee ! read more

Great coffee joint. We ordered some delicious baked goods from Fire Island but needed some coffee to wash it all down. The plants are a gorgeous aesthetic but it feels almost like they need to pick a category. If they're selling more plants than coffee, I would lean away from coffee, but if they're as busy selling and making latte's as I saw a queue for, then they need to probably make room for more customers/espresso machines. The wait (in the height of a rush during early July) was close to 15 minutes. I didn't mind and the latte I had was freaking delicious, but it was a wild wait considering there is (but one couch) no place to sit where they make things. Would still return. That Feeling Co. has the best espresso in town! Yana, Lexie, and Mya were on duty the last time I went in, but I must say the espresso is consistently great. This is true of the Dowling location too. Add to that their beautiful collection plants, and they rank as one of the best businesses in Anchorage. They improve our town. read more

Strong coffee and great vibes. It's decor is full of plants and really fits the place. Whenever I am in Anchorage, I go out of my way to get coffee there. Surprisingly, I think I may prefer this location over the, closer to me, Dowling location. Firstly, the employee on the register had these poppin' eyebrows. A reminder, I must try brow lamination this summer. Secondly, I felt I had space to breathe. Sometimes at Dowling I'm perusing an area and feel like other customers are getting in my bubble. Loved the shop. Cool vibe. Healthy plants of every price point. All kinds of unique gifts and plant care items. Instagram worthy atmosphere for sure. This place is connected to fire island bakery along with other stores within the same building. It's quite a nice gig and it's so helpful when I want a nice coffee and pastry before or during work hours. They usually have specials for coffee of the month which are always fun to try! Surprisingly, it's super affordable and I always complain about prices these days. I feel like this place is worth it and it's affordable! Meant to write this review last summer when I stopped in and forgot. Andrew's review nailed it. Place is super cute- all about the vibe. Plants are gorgeous but HOLY HELL are they over-priced. I used to work in a greenhouse and jiminy christmas they don't cost this much to grow, not even in Alaska. But if you want quick and weird additions to snag while you sip trendy drinks (while being ignored by staff) this is the place. I give them 4 stars because I'm a frigging plant lover and I can't help myself. Quality is hard to find in Alaska when it comes to house plants. read more

You can walk around, grab a pastry or sandwich from next door, look at the plants and just be content. The baristas were very kind (even when someone broke a pot while I was there!) Friendly service, great atmosphere. This is several shops all in one place. The bakery was closed when I went, but several people came in and out and used the lounge space while I was there. I moved to AK from IL about 6 months ago and decided to finally get back into my houseplant hobby. I was so glad to find out about That Feeling Co from Instagram. I'm always on the hunt to find places that remind me of home and this place reminds me a lot of plant shops I would go to back home in Chicago. I've been to both of That Feeling Co.'s locations and this one is my favorite due to its location. It's in a building shared with a small grocery store/smoothie bar (I forget the name) and Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop with a seating area making it a great place to go in the mornings. La Bodega is going to be opening up a location here as well. The prices for some plants are a bit steep compared to other greenhouses in the area, but it's something that I do not mind as their plants look healthy and very well maintained. They have other things like macrame hangers, moisture meters, pins, houseplant books, watering cans, pots, and other plant things for sale. As far as their drinks go, their coffee, tea, and matcha are excellent with their matcha being my favorite. The staff is also what makes this location so great. They asked us if we had any questions regarding their menu or about any of the plants in their shop which is always appreciated. They also provide a little care card with every plant you bring home. I went home with a little peacock plant two weeks ago and it's been thriving ever since, even during this late winter. Overall, my husband and I love this location. We're definitely going to be frequenting this location on the weekends early in the morning before we run our errands for the day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a coffee shop or a plant shop in downtown Anchorage! read more

This place is so pretty worth the visit. All of these different businesses coexist together and mesh together very well the only business that seems to be separate is the spirits store which makes sense but I'm sure when it's open they cohabitate all together very smoothly. I love that there's no doors for the bakery, coffee shop / plant store, and juice bar / specialty produce store. There is a natural flow from business to business you just find yourself going to all three. My eyes were never bored in this entire building there is something to look at in every corner. It is so picturesque in here I wish I snapped some shots I would've had the prettiest portrait. read more
