Awesome coffee! Really serious about the coffee. We tried mocha and matcha latte. So great! Happy there is a good coffee in Anchorage. Busy plant and coffee shop. Great to discover this place. Will be back.

Great coffee, cute plant shop! In same building as Fire Island Bakery - so get your coffee here first.

Was at the bakehouse next to That Feeling and decided to stop in to get a oatmilk London fog earl grey latte. It was pretty good! It's a convenient location and not much of a wait.

Baby Monstera !

The place is very popular & has a great coffee shop ambiance. Good service. Lots of chatter but enough space to find a spot for yourself. Plants are everywhere and great priced ! I purchased 3 healthy plants & all are doing well months later. My baby Monstera has already sprung a new baby leaf ! P.s. They double bagged the plants in brown paper bags for better transport. Very thoughtful.

Very cute nursery coffee shop. Busy when I got there & ordered. However, didn't take long for them to make my raspberry almond milk latte.

Surprisingly, I think I may prefer this location over the, closer to me, Dowling location. Firstly, the employee on the register had these poppin' eyebrows. A reminder, I must try brow lamination this summer. Secondly, I felt I had space to breathe. Sometimes at Dowling I'm perusing an area and feel like other customers are getting in my bubble. Loved the shop. Cool vibe. Healthy plants of every price point. All kinds of unique gifts and plant care items. Instagram worthy atmosphere for sure. I always leave with at least the drink of the month. This months drink was a honey bee latte with lavender. Perfection.

Great ambiance, some of the best in town. It almost feels like it was built for Instagram. Lots of thoughtful gifts and oodles of plants. Service is a little lacking. If you want to contact them for any reason, prepare to be ignored.

What a wonderful little place. Great Combination of things from delicious fresh smoothies to coffee or maybe get something from the bakery next door or why not? A plant or plant accessories. The place is full and I mean FULL of plants everywhere which makes it super cozy and pretty. They have a little market with fresh products. Coffee is good as are the smoothies. I will go back every time I can.

We ordered some delicious baked goods from Fire Island but needed some coffee to wash it all down.

My wife and I solicited quotes from 3 other landscaping companies before settling on Faltz…read moreLandscaping. The 3 others met us at our home and listened to our ideas and took measurements of the areas to be landscaped. Within a week we received quotes from two of the other companies that just parroted back our ideas without any design drawings or detail. The third company jerked us around for 3 additional weeks before telling us they were too busy and gave us a baseless and wildly expensive "estimate" for next year. In contrast, Josie Blumenthal from Faltz came to our house twice to sketch the area, take dimensions and develop our design ideas. On the 2nd trip she took aerial photos with a drone and prepared a concept design based upon our ideas. At our third meeting, Ben Brown, Faltz Landscape Architect, who was mentoring Josie, joined the Team and proposed some new design concepts that we liked a lot. We signed a contract and within a week the Faltz crew was on site. The 3-man crew were experienced, polite and professional. Most of the time while the work was in progress, either Josie, Ben or both were on site, assuring the work was in conformance with the plan. At the end of every workday, the crew cleaned our yard and driveway. Three days later the work was complete. The final product far exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the entire Faltz Team, especially Ben and Josie. We felt that Faltz provided a superior product and good value. We'd highly recommend Faltz for your landscape needs.

Forget about the garden centers at a big box store. Go to Faltz!!! Beautiful plants, trees,…read moreshrubs, hardscape items, and so on. Acres, in fact. Great staff, reasonable prices, and everything healthy and obviously well cared for. A hidden gem!!!!

Rethink Home is a family-owned business located on W. Fireweed across from the VFW Post between Arctic and Spenard. The display floor is filled with an interesting mix of antique furniture, novelty items like 80's icon shirt button pins (Pac-Man, Mr. T, Galaga, Max Headroom, He-Man, and Q-Bert among others), a large detailed oil-style painting of Audrey Hepburn from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's displayed on the rear wall in the back room, Alaskan memorabilia, and crafts from local artists. Like all of my other reviews on antique stores, my main focus is the vinyl they have in wooden crates set up by the front register. The collection here is relatively small and like the secondhand thrift stores, they will arrive randomly without notice. There was an array of albums from the 40's and 50's up to the more modern artists from the 70's and 80's. I saw a few that caught my attention but unfortunately had to pass on because of the condition of some of the records. Some jazz albums I considered buying had visible surface scratches and split seams on either the top or bottom of the album covers. At $5 to $8 on some of these, these were priced relatively high by their condition alone. However, they did have a separate crate of records that were marked down to $2 or 50% from their original selling price, but again the condition was a concern. The nearby secondhand thrift stores had vinyl in better shape at only $1 apiece or .60 at the lowest with minimal surface scratches or fully intact album covers with the original inner sleeve available. However, the people running this store are very friendly and this place is a good option for anyone looking to purchase some paintings or a detailed wood-carved piece of vintage furniture.
