    Veggie Eggs Benedict: with hashbrowns
    Mia C.

Thought I'd give this place a try. It was good, not the absolute best out there but not the worst either. They did forget the special request for turkey sausage on my veggie egg benedict, but that was ok. The waitress was awesome though, very attentive and was able to remove the extra cost on the recipe which was appreciated. One of the best gems though, is they actually still had two more cases of Siera Mist, not Stary. I was sooooo excited and ordered some. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is cute, and an easy to find location with a good bit of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are options for indoor seating or outdoor patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Home Fries and Pork Sausage

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a chilly day outside, and the restaurant didn't offer much warmth or comfort. Inside, it felt just as cold.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress didn't introduce herself, but she was friendly. I ordered home fries, pork sausage, and a pancake. Unfortunately, the home fries were cold, and the pork sausage patties weren't great--tasted like something you'd get from Walmart. The pancake, however, was the highlight of the meal! Not the best breakfast place to visit.

Superb! The food is excellent! The staff warm and friendly! And [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere comfortable and quirky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Theirs are the best eggs benedict in town!

Lumberjack special with corned beef hash, grits, eggs over medium with toast. I added a pancake for 99 cents. Delicious!!!

I eat here every Friday morning for breakfast with friends. The food is always spot on and the grits are always a perfect consistency. Crystal is an amazing server and keeps our glasses and mugs full. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating, but doesn't feel crowded even when they are at full capacity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I definitely recommend as a destination restaurant for anyone wanting a delicious breakfast.

Traditional Eggs Benedict with separated sauce. They're calling the Flippin Egg and they can't get eggs right!!

Service was slow, I purposely put our coffee mugs on the edge of the table to hopefully get a refill, but ended up having to ask the host walking by for more coffee. They're all nice, but the food is subpar. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict, the sauce had separated, bad taste, inedible. Their waffles are at least their saving grace. Biscuits and gravy came out lukewarm warm. Just a blah experience all around.

    Grilled Bologna Breakfastt

I'm a country girl born and raised so of course I fell in love with this place once I found out they sold fried bologna. I wasn't disappointed with my food or service. The ladies I've had the chance to get to know are all wonderful servers. I typically go when it's less people so it's very quiet.

Finally visiting That Flippin Egg in Evans, the brunch crowd was not to heavy considering it's a holiday. The hostess was friendly, greeting with a smile . Once seated we order the orange/pineapple mimosas which we're really good. We ordered the Ruben sandwich with fried squash and grilled chicken omelette with hashed brown and biscuit. The food arrived at the table hot, smelly good and tasting even better. I believe I've found a new brunch spot. If you have never tried "That Flippin Egg" for breakfast or brunch you're missing a treat. Highly recommended!

    Business Breakfast*

They just opened one of these in Aiken and it always looks busy. We were in Evans today and figured we'd check it out. Hubby got the business breakfast and I got the chicken and waffles. Can best be described as cafeteria food. The chicken was 2 round breaded pieces of chicken...so not really sure what I was getting. Butter was labeled as "butterly" mixture and mostly oil so I didn't even try that. Server was very nice but food was not best quality. Now we know.

    Bloody Flippin Mary and Menu
    Carley S.

I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is cute. The waiters all dressed up for Easter. Several of us chose the skillet option, which I loved. My husband built his own biscuit and he was pleased. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were great.

Scramble 2 Eggs, Home Fries, extra crispy bacon and toast.

What are the hours of this restaurant and what is the brunch menu like?

The hours of operation are from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. 7 days a week. The full menu could be considered brunch. I can only speak on the Business Breakfast which was good.

The valet folks were friendly, everybody smiled, and for a moment I thought we might have stumbled onto one of those places where Southern hospitality still gets practiced instead of just printed on brochures. The inn itself has that old-school charm. The front porch alone looks like it has stories to tell, and most of them are probably better than the ones you'll hear at the average chain hotel breakfast buffet. The room was nice enough, though getting to it felt a little like a low-impact obstacle course. After stepping off the elevator, there were three steps to negotiate before reaching the room. No big deal. I shuffled the luggage and carried on. Then I discovered the room itself was split-level, complete with three more steps. That arrangement seemed perfectly reasonable until the 3 a.m. trip to the bathroom, when those same steps suddenly became an adventure sport. One suggestion: every room ought to have a proper nightstand and a place to charge the electronic gadgets that have become attached to modern Americans like an extra limb. We may not all travel with a typewriter anymore, but most of us carry enough electronics to launch a small satellite. Things got a little more interesting when hunger arrived. We tried to make restaurant reservations through the Resy link on the hotel's website. No luck. The restaurant wasn't listed. Fine. Technology fails. It happens. So I called the restaurant. No answer. Turns out the restaurant number appears to be the same as the front desk. I left a message and waited about 45 minutes for a callback. Never got one. Again, no big deal. DoorDash and an Indian restaurant came to the rescue. While pondering the mystery of the missing callback, I found myself staring out the window. That's when I noticed the paint splatters and streaks all over the glass. Now, I don't know who handles maintenance around there, but somebody needs to explain that painting a window and cleaning a window are two entirely different activities. And that's really the story of the Partridge Inn. Nice people. Pleasant room. Plenty of charm. But charm can only carry you so far when attention to detail keeps missing the bus. The little things matter because they add up. The unanswered phone, the broken reservation link, the paint on the windows, the awkward room layout--they're all small by themselves. Together, they're enough to make me appreciate the stay but probably not enough to make me come back for another one.

I'll tell you what made me unhappy. We were there on a 95 degree day. When we were seated our waitress brought us a carafe of water and 2 glasses. Room temperature water and no ice. I asked for ice and she brought us a cup of ice. Not really enough for 2 people and it melted down as soon as I poured water over it. I figured that the only way I would get ice was to order a drink, so I ordered ice tea. That usually comes with ice. Right?? Well our waitress said that she had to brew me a fresh cup of tea which when you pour that over ice the ice melts away and again I had a glass of room temperature tea. I couldn't get a cold drink here to save my life. And did I mention that it was 95 degrees out? My wife ordered a Rubin sandwich, not realizing that it was a spicy sandwich. One bite and she was done. She doesn't like spicy food so I traded her for my simple bacon egg sandwich on a bagel and I had her spicy Rubin. And it was spicy! They had a mustard that must've been made with jalapeño and if you like heat, you will like this. Plenty of parking. Full bar. Clean restroom. Very average.

Lots of seating options and we opted for the comfy little couch and chair in the back corner, which was great to just have coffee, a quick sandwich, and chat. My friend got the Good Tidings (think all the Thanksgiving flavors in one sandwich) special and I had serious jealousy over her food because I just got a simple breakfast sandwich and made the mistake of opting for sourdough instead of the amazing ciabatta it was supposed to come on. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding.
