The Australian Wagyu filet mignon (see my pick) is top notch. Cook to order (medium) and soft and delicious. The Australian Wagyu tasting it is very good as well!! You use the "lava" stone and you cook it to your own liking. Drink- the cocktail (forgot the name) is like a show stopper! Ambiance- it is fancy and yet, very relax!! I will return :)

They have a valet system, so no worries about parking. Staff have been very professional and friendly, so 5/5 stars for that. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon, medium rare. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly! It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes covered in a crispy layer of batter, which all complimented the steak well. I tried their tuna tartare, which had an interesting take on what the tuna was served on. I've always been used to tuna tartare being accommodated with bread, but this was sushi rice compacted and covered in some light batter. Felt like I was eating tuna sushi. Apply some of the sauces it comes with and seriously was fantastic. I also got to try 4oz of their Japanese A5 Wagyu. Super expensive; $80 dollars for four ounces, but worth the experience. You cook the thin pieces over a hot stone and apply some of the seasonings like salt it comes with. I cooked each side for about 30 seconds, sprinkled some salt, and it melted in my mouth! I ended my meal with their carrot cake and it was moist, not overly sweet, and had a great savory taste. I really enjoyed my time here and certainly will be back again. There is a bar and at the back of the restaurant, you can see the baseball field. Restrooms were clean, but only one stall from what I've seen in the men's room. Overall 5/5 steak house experience.

We sat outside and were pleased with the location. The location surely had its charms. Relaxing, calming. Perfect environment for some much needed respite. The restaurant is situated on a quaint quiet street, across from some beautiful Charlestown style homes. We both chose Ribeye steaks and boy was I surprised. They were huge! We BOTH got our steaks grilled perfect! I was extremely impressed. I jokingly told the waitress they mush have a boxer working in the back, tenderizing the meat because the steaks were so tender I rarely used the knife. The steaks was incredible, just the right amount of searing, juicy, seasoned just right, and so flavorful. And get this, we received our steaks at the same time, right off the grill so our dishes were both hot. It had been such a long time since I had enjoyed a meal this much. My reservation of going again has absolutely nothing to do with this restaurant. Cost of living is getting high and the cost of a great dinner like at the Annapolitan will cost you. But if you want something special, it is worth it.

Went there today 15 March for my birthday and was truly disappointed…read more The wait for the food was entirely too long, especially when there was only 4 other tables occupied. We arrived 10+ minutes before party of 5 and ordered our food before them and our food arrived at the same time as theirs along with the party of 3 that was there when we arrived. Needless to say my French toast was cold, I sent it back, they wanted to give me an order of French toast that clearly belonged to someone else, because it had caramel and apples and I ordered mine with strawberries. I said no thank you, I was good and didn't want any at all. Midway through my meal the guy brings out the French toast with strawberries, but the kicker is it wasn't freshly made but put in the microwave, because it was soggy. The strawberry compote tasted like it came out of a jar, and the French toast had one strawberry sliced in half on it. I gave 2 stars because the grits were decent and the crab cakes were okay, (to much mustard), they didn't have that Maryland style taste of Old Bay seasoning (I grew up in the area and frequent Lexington Market and restaurants, when I visit there, so I know the taste of good crab cakes). Sincerely very disappointed Mia

I've dined here twice both instances for special occasions. Once last year for my wedding…read moreAnniversary and this year for my birthday. I had the exactly experience both times. My first visit the place was beautifully appointed, we were greeted warmly and sat pretty quickly. Our server was lovely. We started with cocktails which were great. As for our meal the food was just lacking, everything was missing flavor. I ate a couple bites but decided early on that it was a miss for me. On my most recent visit I actually ordered the 6oz. Ribeye with whipped potatoes and asparagus (so I thought and to be fair I could be wrong) but came with broccolini instead. I'm not a fan of broccolini and I'm not sure I would have ordered the meal that included it. In total it took about an hour to receive my food I kid you not. I inquired about it a couple times with the bartender who walked back to the kitchen to check. Each time I was assured it was coming. I was served what can only be called chargrilled hotdog buns as I waited. Maybe not actual hotdog buns but looks and texture wise? Hot dog buns lol. Super charred and dry no butter no olive oil just grilled hot dog buns. So bizarre. I think the bartender forgot to put the order in hence the long wait. When it arrived my ribeye had been butterflied to cook quicker (which I can only assume by the appearance). The steak was cooked perfectly, so no complaints there. The meat wasn't particularly seasoned and look people I'm not expecting the stars and the moon, I was starving and I'm a reasonable person so just a pinch of salt and pepper would have done the trick but for $68 I wanted a better meal. The mashed potatoes were seasoned to perfection so I just ate the under seasoned steak with the perfectly seasoned potatoes and made it work (see totally reasonable lol). And that broccolini? Surprising good so no complaints there. All and all there are just better places to dine. Is the place beautiful? Sure but if I go to a restaurant I want the food to be the star of the show. Not sure I'd try a third time but I'm glad I tried again even if the experience left much to be desired.

Food: My wife and I ordered the Lamb Chops with Truffle Fries and Collard Greens. The Lamb Chops were delicious, cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The Collard were tender and well seasoned. The Truffle Fries were served hot and crispy outside and tender potato inside, very tasty. Short Ribs with mashed potatoes. The Short Ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy with a great tasteful gravy. The Mashed potatoes were cooked perfectly not sure what was all in them however I would definitely get them again and again! Service: Absolutely hands down the best customer service. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and promptly. Our waitress was so sweet and polite also attentive but not pestering. The entire staff came by the table wish us a happy anniversary and at the end of our meal the staff presented us with chocolate cake a courtesy. Ambiance: Classy decor, elegant table setting and comfortable casual lighting perfect for a romantic meal.

First things first... the hostess Lyne set the tone immediately. Personable, funny, and quick-witted. She picked up on my husband's "I like to cause a little trouble just because I can" energy within seconds. Without missing a beat she said, "Listen... we're going to put him in time out right there." Another guest nearby started chuckling and I knew right then we were in good hands. Our waitress Kim was just as amazing. Attentive without hovering, friendly, and she kept checking on us to make sure we were good and boxed up once we tapped out. Now let's talk about the food... whew chile. I ordered the Lady Killer and let me tell you... it absolutely understood the assignment. Whatever magic was happening in that kitchen... keep doing it. The salad was huge. I only made it a few bites before I had to surrender. The rest went upstairs with me because wasting food is not in my ministry. And the cocktail... round of applause... smooth, balanced, and pretty enough to make you pause before the first sip. All in all... great energy, great service, and food that delivered. The manager walked around inquiring about the service given. Someone mentioned they weren't happy about their food and she appeared genuinely concerned as she further asked questions and how to take care of the matter. I was impressed. For me it's the small things like this that'll guarantee me being repeat... Separate review for the hotel itself coming up!...
