The staff was nice enough, but the food was awful. Everything tastes reheated - not fresh - and they even reheat some of it in the microwave in the front that all the customers can see. Yellow mustard on the meat in the hummus - WTF!?! I don't understand the good reviews. This is the worst Mediterranean food I have ever had. read more

This place is great! I was skeptical, but I'd recommend it to anyone who asked me about it. I got the chicken kabobs and thoughts they were wonderful. It seems like you get 2 chicken breasts there's so much on the plate! You could easily share with another person. The dipping sauce was great as well. The rice was very good. My meal also came with a side salad which was fantastic. The dressing and seasonings on the salad made it very unique and good. Someone with me got falafels so I decided to try it. They were very flavorful! They went great with the sauce that came with my chicken. We got baklava for desert and it was so good! I had only tried it once before somewhere else. I would've preferred it a little stickier with more honey, but I can't wait to order it again from TLP. This is a place I'd love to take friends and family. We went last weekend having never tried Lebanese food. I've always loved Greek and Mediterranean flavors and was told they were quite similar. The chef here is a marvel. His daughter waited on us and was so friendly and helpful and the food was out of this world. Their stuffed grape leaves were lovely and I highly recommend the Baba Ghanouj was ...I wanted to swim in it. Everything we tried was great and the atmosphere is homey. I've been here several times. during my last visit I ordered the dinner for 2 with lamb and beef. I got the ground beef kabobs without lamb. I mentioned this to the owner and he said that they changed the recipe and the lamb looks like that now... While he was talking to me trying to convince me that the beef kabob was lamb the server brought me a lamb kabob because he noticed the error. The owner just walked away. The Soup and Salad is terrific, the stuffed grape leaves are decent, and the kabobs are we bit dry. I'll go back for the Soup and Salad (take out). read more

This was, by far, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The waitress was pleasant when we arrived, brought us water, and said she'd bring us our food when she could. That should have been our first sign. We waited for soup and salad, and falafel appetizer for nearly 40 minutes. "Soup" was flavorless and watery served barely warm. The falafel was ok...none of our food was hot. The waitress never even came back to refill our water. Very pricy for minuscule amount of less than mediocre food. read more

We finally decided to try this place and are SO glad we did! The food was amazing and the personal service from the owner was just wonderful. We went with the dinner for 2 and were so impressed. My husband is Lebanese and makes a couple dishes differently, but that in no way took from what we had. The Baba Ghanoug was ridiculous! The lentil soup was a lovely surprise. A disappointing meal to say the least. First time visitor from out of town and didn't want to get any local chain restaurants for dinner so decided to get take out from here. Ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and the fattoush salad with chicken. Let's start with the shawarma - very small in size, could have easily eaten 2-3 of them without skipping a beat. The flavor wasn't bad but not the typical toppings I'm used to from a Lebanese place. The fattoush salad with chicken was an extreme disappointment. Maybe because it was to go and not dine in but it was extremely small. Should be categories as a side salad but they have a side salad on menu for $3.99. Can't imagine smaller than this. Horrible value for $8.50 you get a small dressing soaked salad and little portions of chicken. The side garlic sauce isn't that garlicky either. Tastes more like mayo with a hint of garlic. Sadly was looking forward to a good Lebanese meal and did not have one. read more

A nice change from the usual eateries in Springfield! I, a lover of Mediterranean food, have always been more than pleased with anything I ordered. My boyfriend on the other hand was new to try this cuisine and was not as impressed... But I believe that is more a difference in taste than a testament to the quality of the food here though. The food seems to be fresh and cooked with care, but the presentation and atmosphere leave a little to be desired. Overall I would recommend if you are looking for a new place to try, though keep in mind the flavors may not always be for everyone! read more

Ok, nice add to the variety in SGF. BUT takes way way too long for a food truck (or even other rest). 40 mins for 3 beef kabobs... and from the others waiting when we arrived, that seems typical. Beef shawarma, slaw, in a pita shouldn't be that hard. Hope they figure out their process. read more

Best hummus in town. The falafel is fresh and is made in house. In fact, our server (who was fantastic) told us that almost everything is made in house. I got a veggie burger that had falafel, some sort of yogurt, pickled veggies, and came on pita bread. It was a refreshing take on my western view of what a burger can be. I will definitely be back and I'm excited about trying so many of the other items that are foreign to me. read more

If you have never had Lebanese food the best way to describe it is Greek meets Indian. They have a variety of different items. The beef seemed to be better than the other meats. Many of the items are like wraps and they are packed with flavor. I recommend their pita bread with the baba ganoushe(may be spelled differently). If you are looking for a new experience try this place out. It is located in the eclectic commercial street district. read more

I had a Gyro sandwich and an order of fries from here tonight. It not only took FOREVER for my order to come out, but everything was just barely warm, and very dried out. Almost like my food had been just sitting there for the whole 30+ minutes that I waited on it. The sandwich was actually pretty "decent", I can only imagine how much better a fresh made gyro would taste, without dried out meat that is almost like jerky. The fries were fresh cut potatoes, (not basic frozen fries) but they were dried out like they were sitting under a heat lamp forever. But too bad I will never give them a second chance. I am from Louisiana, here on business, and the only reason I ate here was because I saw some good reviews on Yelp. Too bad my visit wasn't as good as all the other reviews. read more

You have to try the baba ganouj!!!! OMG delicious! Ordered Falafel and beef shwarma - both were fantastic. My son's kids meal of beef kebab and fries was a nice sized portion and good too. The food and service are great. We had the hummos, tabouille salad, and the Lebanese Platter with chicken (this was plenty for two people and we had enough for lunch the next day). We were out the door for $25 with plenty of food. The quality and taste of the food was fantastic. The service was very good, timely, and the servers seemed genuinly interested in us being happy. Pretty good! Food was good, price was decent. Vegetarian options available. The coffee was really strong and awakening, but really nice to sip on. The atmosphere would be so much cooler if they made the place look more authentic. Although I enjoyed the music they played, I did find the TV music videos distracting.
