We ordered the samba plate, which allows you to pick any 3 meats, so we selected picanha (cooked rare), shrimp, and sausage. Unfortunately, the steak ended up being closer to well done by the time we made it back to the house, but I think that's just the cost of taking steak to-go, and not necessarily the fault of the restaurant or chef since it's natural for it to continue cooking inside of the styrofoam box. Temperature aside, the flavor and quality of the meat was great, and you receive a very generous portion for the price. Along with the samba plate, we ordered steak fries and empanadas. Although the steak fries were pretty plain.. basically just steak plopped on top of fries, they were delicious, especially with the creamy herb sauce that is served with them. The empanadas were ginormous, and I like that the dough almost flaky rather than being super thick. We were very pleased with Brazilicious and will definitely hit them up again next time!

I tried to keep up with everything that I tried, but I lost track very swiftly. (I do believe I tried everything except for the salmon because I don't care for salmon. The other people at our table did try it and loved it.) At one point I realized I had tried almost everything but not the lamb. I mentioned it to a family member who has been there before and they immediately flagged down a waiter to tell them. Turns out that you have to ask for it specially. Very soon after, lamb arrived at the table and I will continue to dream about those lamb chops probably for the rest of my life. So savory and delicious. It was drizzling lightly off and on, and when we walked up we asked to sit at a table under an umbrella close to the building, providing some cover. The server told us that table was taken, and we were seated at a table far out in the courtyard basically next to the parking spaces under a tree.... It had no umbrella, so we did end up getting a bit damp. And, being a longer trek from the restaurant meant that the service was haphazard... for instance, our waters were never refilled. The food made up for these shortcomings, but if there is a next time, we'll be more assertive about sitting on the actual dining patio. The slower service resulted in not staying for any desert... we'd had a long day and were ready to call it a night, but the passion fruit mousse sounds interesting. No one ever came to claim the table we were turned away from at the start, it turns out.
