Found this place via the Yelp app, was very impressed with the options and pried on the build your own burger option. Had a Turkey burger on wheat with goat cheese, caramelized onions, roasted peppers and pesto mayo. The burger was fantastic, possibly the best turkey burger I have ever had (and I have tried quite a few). Only tiny quibble would be the pesto was a little lost, as was the goat cheese, but maybe I chose too many competing flavors? The fries were also great - they have malt vinegar which is awesome. I recommend trying this place and it was so good last weekend that we are going again this weekend. read more

After Google recommended this location multiple times we decided to give it a shot. They make custom burgers of varying Components. I thought it was great. I have the bayou burger and the wife had a regular burger. They're sweet potato fries were probably some of the best I've ever had. The restaurant itself was clean and well staffed and had enough room for probably about 20 people in the seating area. The front counter staff was very friendly and willing to offer advice on the food that you order as well as what you might like to try. All in all I would say it was a good experience and I gave it four stars due to the fact that it was clean service was fast and the food was fresh. if I had to provide one- it would be that the mac and cheese was not as cheesy as I would have liked. The Greek veggie burger was delicious!! The combination of ingredients was yummy. The hand cut fries were very good, toasty and crispy. Not greasy. My daughter had a regular burger and she loved it, the bun was and it was not greasy. The also had many different burger options. The price is just right for what you get and the staff very friendly. We made another stop at That One Spot this evening and I noticed a sign that said "salmon chowder is back." Salmon chowder did not sound appetizing to me but I love to try new items so I ordered a bowl for $4.00. This chowder was delicious. It came out piping hot and loaded with salmon. It also had onions, corn and potatoes but the salmon was primary. It was perfectly seasoned and something that I will order again. We also ordered the Crunch Burger, BBQ Burger, large french fries and a large order of sweet potato fries. The burgers were made to perfection. The sweet potato fries were fat and hot. The french fries disappointed because they were greasy and just warm. The outdoor seating is quiet and enjoyable. The staff is quick to offer to clear your table. read more

Walked in about 30 minutes before closing with three in my party. The burgers ordered had special requirements like no bun lettuce wrap and the presentation was awesome! The meat was seasoned and flavorful. The ingredients were all fresh. The staff was courteous and fun even at closing time and never made us feel rushed. Definitely will visit again. Went with a family of 5 for lunch. Inside was pretty small but they have a patio area with seating as well. Luckily since it was a weekday it wasn't overly crowded. They had high chairs to accommodate our two year old. The kids burger was a big portion and came with fries which was a great value. You have to order fries as a side option because they don't come with the burgerMy in laws got chicken which they seemed to like. My husband got the bb burger which had brisket and a horseradish sauce on it which he loved and I tried and thought was awesome. I did the build your own which had a ton of variety and options to choose from including vegan options. It was also super tasty and I enjoyed the spicy pickles (tho I didn't find them at all spicy). It would take a long time to try all the combinations you could choose from. I am excited to go back and try the other specialty options they had to offer. read more

I feel so lucky to live in Ocoee as all there great little start up restaurants are popping up here with exceptional food. Up the road there are McDonalds and Burger Kings to be sure. Stopped in one day, I love small owned restaurants. My husband and I tried "that one burger", delicious! A couple of months ago, I made the choice of not eating meat. I walked into the one spot and couldn't decide between the bean burger or Greek burger, and so my husband I got both and shared it. Make a long story short, we can't decide which is better and so we order both and share every time. I love this place. I recommend this spot. Food is great and the people are really nice. Sub-par food with a side of food poisoning. We ordered take out dinner for our family of 5. The first thing I noticed when eating mine was, that the order was wrong. Our two younger children absolutely refused to eat their kids meal burgers/fries (they were the smart ones and my wife, our oldest daughter and myself finished our food. The refused Foo from out youngest daughters went to my mom's dog that we're sitting. Shortly after finishing, I ended up in the W/C and my wife's stomach started to ache. At about 4:30 am, our oldest daughter started throwing up and did so off and on for an hour. When I went to take the dog out in the morning, I found that she had diarrhea ALL over her kennel and has had bouts of it throughout the day. I called and spoke with manager Luna, who is also the owners daughter who pretty much refused to help or refund us our money. I was able to speak with Sam. Who I'm told is Luna's father/owner who only agreed to refund us our tainted meal after I said I would file a complaint with the Health Board and leave an honest review of his restaurant. After a different manager arrived today, I was called and told that I would not be receiving a refund until I provided a doctor's note and veterinary bill proving food poisoning. I offered to bring by the two garbage bags of vomit and diarrhea clean up and suggested to them that I'm apparently unable to even receive an honest refund for the horrible food and service, and asked what made him think that I would actually receive compensation for doctors and veterinary costs proving that their food made our family sick. To which I was not giving a response. So I will be calling the Health Board tomorrow morning when they open. We will be avoiding this place at all costs, in the future and am concerned as to how an establishment stays in business when treating customers the way we have been treated. read more

Had a craving for a burger and fries, so was looking for a good local spot that offered non-meat burgers. Had the black bean burger and fries. The burger was very tasty and hit the spot. All of the toppings and the sweet chili sauce go great with the burger. The home cut fries were really good, especially with malt vinegar. The seating area inside is pretty small (maybe 20 people), but there is outside seating. The menu isn't extensive but has options for the meat eaters, poultry eaters and vegetarians- so something for everyone. I didn't order onion rings but saw some come out and they look amazing. Definitely the best FAST burger in town! Definitely a mom and pop type place, I guess the owners of Gator Subs decided to switch to burgers...GREAT DECISION! The variety of burgers is really wide with different types of meat patties to chicken to vegan. They feature gourmet toppings such as different types of cheeses, peppers, sauces as well. I think the best part is that they season and form the patty right when you order it. You know it's not frozen. The french fries are also really good. Seasoned to perfection. For a fast food burger, this place rocks. Better than Five Guys, better than Red Robin. I can only think of Teak being better but they aren't fast food like this. Also has salad for a healthier meal. Also i believe they have a salmon burger. The name "That One Spot" could use a lil help guys. Or add something about burgers to the sign? LOL read more

This was our first time going and everything was great! Loved the flame broiled flavor from the grill. My family all had build your own burgers and I had a turkey burger. Ugh. Such a disappointing Sunday afternoon burger outing with the family. So disappointing that it's helping me write my first Yelp review in almost a year. Where to start? Out of bacon. Big no-no. But then, ok, the girl is willing to add something else in it's place on a BLT - nice. NOT. We were charged. For replacing an item, after you offered? Awesome. Add to the fact that the place was an absolutely, utter disaster of nasty. Food everywhere, paper everywhere, flies on the drink machine - which ended up BREAKING! Then it took 3 people to realize to turn the key any get it working again and replace the carbonation... Add in that a worker pushed the trash down wearing gloves, cleaned the dining room and proceeded to go the back and start cooking... WEARING the same gloves!!! YUCK! Glad we already ate. This pains me to do because their food is great and I will definitely give them credit for that but my last few experiences here have been lack luster at best. I've been waiting awhile to review this place in part because I first thought of it as a 3 star place just shy of 4 stars and wanted to try it again with the hopes I'd be impressed enough to justify 4 stars but quite the opposite happened. The Good The menu is creative. There are a number of unique burgers and sandwiches that have great flavor profiles. I like the BBQ burger and the Curry chicken sandwich. The sweet potato fries are also good (side not included with burger/sandwich). I would also classify the staff as "good", nothing special jumps out at me but they seem to be a friendly bunch and that's good enough for me. The Bad The wait time has been troublesome. On today's visit we waited almost 30 minutes which seems like a long time for a burger and fries. The place is somewhat cramped and you can tell they have made some unorthodox changes to try to make the space work better but it still doesn't jive that well. They've changed seating arrangement a few times (still too many tables for the square footage), added a perpendicular extension from the main counter to serve as a cashier (to give more room in the kitchen area perhaps?), and built additional storage in plain site upon walking in the door. The Ugly Flies. Without fail every few minutes our meal was interrupted by a game of "who can swat the fly". I'm not going to say that every burger should come with a free fly swatter but they should work on eliminating flies inside the dining area. Upon exiting after lunch today my Uncle went to the nearest puddle and splashed around in it. No, he wasn't celebrating the rain or summoning his inner child, he was trying to get the greasiness off of his shoes. As soon as you walked into the place it was like a greasy slip n' slide on the floor. I'm not sure if the floor was so dirty it was greasy or if the cleaner they use is just that greasy but either way, it's not attractive. My lovely hair dresser told me about this place, which is pretty close to where I live. Another reason just to be in the area, is the Twistee Treat right next door. Ever since my first stop, it has become routine for my 3 o'clock lunch, a quick bite on my way to client meeting, may a easy dinner before we go to a movie in West Oak Mall. Since filling the bottom-less pits my husband and brother both call stomaches is easy when visiting, we go there so much more often than my favorite Thai restaurant on Colonial. The shop seems always packed with people during lunch and dinner, the staff is friendly if extremely tired and the burger is grilled right after ordering... Burger King can't even compare the service and speed. I have only tried 2 burgers so far: The Pesto Chicken burger and Grilled Curry Chicken Burger. I loved the Grilled Curry Chicken Burger so much I never bothered try anything else. The burger comes with red and green pepper, basil, tomato, fresh grilled chicken breast, cheese, and creamy curry mayo. The basil and curry mayo giving the burger a taste of some my favorite Thai food. Maybe that's why I like it so much... As of recent, I started to notice the grilled chicken breast seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Now that was a good $7.50 burger! I bashed the hell out of their Crunch Burger concoction and got no grief for the doin' it too. Nice. The burger gave up that wonderful grilled goodness taste! Just what I was looking for. I asked for BBQ sauce in lieu of their standard Horseradish Yum Yum sauce. HR has never been my thing and I was not in the least slighted in flavors for the exchange. BBQ is great recipe. I too wasn't in the mood for Bleu cheese so I subbed that out for good ole white American. "Grill it Medium" is my last special request. I commented to my companion that I'll be impressed if all this comes out right. Wow, Three cheers to - That One Spot!! - (Okay I'll leave the so easy double entendre alone - even tho you know it'll kill me.) The onion rings tasted good and all but some room for improvement for my * * * * * liking.- Its the lame breading, just not up to same standard with the burger quality. We stopped in for lunch on the way from here to there. Like many places lately you order from a menu board up at the counter and then take a seat and someone brings you the food when it's ready. Can I just say I curse whoever decided that this fast casual ordering style was going to be the next best thing. Too much to read and too many decisions to make especially when you have hungry people behind you and your indecision is between them and their food. Usually I will preview the menu online to alleviate my stress but they don't have a website that I could find, so I was left to my own devises with the final Jeopardy theme song running through my head as I wrestled with my options. Thankfully (?) the line was slow in front of us and they got several phone orders as well so I actually had enough time to make my decisions before a serious case of ordering anxiety set in. Be that as it may, I chose That Other Burger which had roasted red peppers, herb infused goat cheese, red onions, leaf lettuce, balsamic ketchup and garlic aioli. Marty tried the B.B. Burger with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, smokey brisket and applewood smoked bacon. He subbed BBQ sauce for the usual horseradish sauce. We each had the hand cut fries with that. Cook to preferred temp - yes thank you no problem. Our orders came out and I have to say that these were some really tasty burgers. Mine was cooked exactly as ordered, the meat was juicy and flavorful and the toppings were just plain yummy. Marty's burger while having a totally different flavor profile was equally as good. It took all my will power to only eat half and save half to take home (a common practice of ours since we eat out a lot). The hand cut fries had a nice robust potato flavor and were crispy. Odd bits. They use the distributor ketchup - House Recipe. The mustard was Heinz but not so the ketchup. At least they are honest enough to display the House Recipe bottles for what they are but I was surprised to see an off brand in a place that seemed to otherwise focus on higher quality toppings. Also the floor was oddly waxy/slippery. I'm not sure if it's the nature of the flooring itself or whatever they use to clean it but it was slightly treacherous to walk on. I haven't ventured out in Ocoee but I happen to be meeting a friend and we saw this great spot on yelp. There is plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the cool weather. It's also a dog friendly place as a couple that sat near us had a dog and the server brought out water for him. Very friendly and tentative staff that checked on us multiple times though the feel of this place was a self service place. You order at the counter and get a number and just wait for a delicious meal. My friend and I order chicken sandwiches and they were great quality. The sandwiches had a whole chicken breast! The piece of chicken was actually bigger than the bun and it was cooked perfectly and not dried out chicken. I would definitely come back to try everything else on the menu. I saw them put salmon on the grill probably for another order and it looked of quality and size. This is a place I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. read more

This is one of the best quick serve burgers in town. I'm a particular fan of the BBQ burger, which is a bacon cheese burger with all the toppings, BBQ sauce, and three onion rings on it. This was my first time. I wanted a cheat day, but to keep it healthy. This was the perfect spot. I ordered a turkey burger on wheat with sprouts, avocado, cucumber & bacon.
