It's an interesting store. The products are a bit random. The prices are alright for the items sold. It's very disorganized though, and labels are often incorrect for the bins. The staff were a little rude. But if you find something you really like, it could be worth it. Many of the items are from Target we noticed. The prices were around 65% of the price they normally would be, from Target (at least from what I noticed). Saw some $5 target items for $3.75. They do limit how many items you can buy to 5 per person per day, so that does limit the consumer a bit. All in all, it's cheap.

Today's haul: Two Studio McGee items and three brand toys

Gotta admit seeing this spot on my own I would have not gone in. I only made my visit for the first time because of my sister-in-law showing me all the great finds there were inside for her! The name and big signs about additional discounts would make me think it's some cheap and janky store going out of business. NO, NO, NO. FAR FROM THAT! Walking in it's a huge warehouse with a bunch of industrial shelves stocked with home decor, home appliances + dishes, cleaning products, rugs, toys, etc. The best part about That's Cheap is the items they sell are 50% from Target. I'm talking Studio McGee and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia items too. Some still even being sold at full retail price at Target! These products are not defects and in great condition. I also snagged some girl toys for my niece: Barbie Dreamtopia, Disney ILY 4 Ever craft set, and a Lori Airport. I found out they have new products arriving everyday and have 3-4 additional locations within Sacramento. Depending on the day and location it's all hit and miss but absolutely worthwhile in checking out!

On our way to spirit Halloween store and was intrigued by the name so Stopped in. It's a mix of Target brand items and maybe Amazon. I recognized the hearth and hand brand. Mixture of household items, beauty items and food. Prices were cheap to regular for furniture. Walked out with a $70 dual stainless steel garbage can that I've been eyeing online for over $100 so thought it was a deal. Some sanitizers for 10 cents so bought a case of 48. Would definitely be back if I'm in town. Wish they had closer to Bay Area.

Shared parking lot. Clean interior. Very few customers in the afternoon on a weekend. The staff do not wear masks. The cashier at checkout was relatively friendly. There's a five item limit per customer. From what I could tell, most if not all the products were from Target. Very few Halloween items and some Christmas items.

What? It was like a falling prices inside bummet

Disappointing! I was excited to come see the different location while in the area but turns out they were remodeling or something and made it into a Falling Prices so stuff was all $6 in bins and a mess. The stuff in the bins was marked originally $1-2 so not sure what the point of it is. I guess I'll stick with the other two locations near me on Watt Ave and Arden Way.

I paid $0.99 for those sharpie gel pens which are at Target for $5.59

I love "digging" for deals and this place just gives me that opportunity haha! Right now they have pallets of hand soap which were $1.25 for a box of 6! I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with 6 bottles of hand soaps, but it was literally cheap! This location also has a bunch of patio furniture and salvaged furniture that are still in boxes which is appealing. The store does not allow you to open the boxes to check the quality, so be aware that the items may be scuffed up, stained, a little bit damaged or incomplete, and that it is FINAL SALE (a.k.a no returns). Some items are worth it like laundry detergent, cleaning sprays, sanitizing wipes, disposable bowls/plates, stationery/ office supplies. The inventory is totally random and may not be consistently stocked due to the "salvaged" nature of the store, so if you see it and it's never that cheap, just get it!

I think this opened about a month ago? Finally checked it out. It was not what I expected. It was more organized with a better variety but not exactly cheap either. It reminds me of Big lots. Has a lot of items from Target. I thought the furniture was rather expensive but then was later told it was all 30% off so that made it better but it's not advertised and the employees don't tell you unless you ask. A lot of items don't have prices so when I asked, the girl just said bring it up to the register and they will tell you. I can see the one off items but I think if there's a huge stack of them, it should be clearly priced. I probably would have spent more had I known but didn't want to lug a bunch of crap to the front. It's worth browsing, but not sure if is really all That Cheap compared to going any other discount store.

With selections of items from jewelry and stickers to ceramics, candles, lotions, children's items, and more. Some of my favorite items to browse are the candles for the latest seasonal scents, the local items, and the ceramics. The best part is that they refresh inventory and bring in seasonal items so everytime you visit there's something new to look at. On top of the great variety of items for purchase, they partner with local businesses for events and experiences where you can craft, learn more about products, and get hands on. They're bringing the community together while uplifting other small businesses. The team here is always friendly, and if it's not the owner it's typically another small business owner so you can make small talk and learn something new. The pricing ranges based on the products and brands that are carried but I've found some great deals and feel like all the products I've purchased here are well worth the cost.

So, it's that time in our lives that we are looking to start the money pit aka kitchen renovation…read more We've been in our house for a few years now, we're finally settled, paid off our cars so we have a few extra bucks. IKEA was the first place we thought of for inspiration. We were surprised at the color scheme we looked at and liked. We were attracted to the blue cabinets or the olive green cabinets as they would look good with our dark floors. An ask for countertops, I don't want lament as it won't hold it's shape. I like the glass composite countertops as they look more sturdy. We were surprised that they sell stoves, ovens, and microwaves. We thought they would be dummy's like the TVs are. I question the quality and longevity of IKEAs kitchens. They mostly show the lament kitchen tops. It's much cheaper then the composite glass, but I doubt they will last as long. I found the sink style I like. We have water outflow issues with our sink and facet, so I found a set in sink that I liked, no lip that goes over the countertops. With the countertops questionable longevity, now I question the cupboards quality and longevity. You have to give them props for being reusable price, I just don't want it to wear out. In the end we are thinking that the cost will be around $15,000 including instulation. I'm thinking more like $20,000 as things always cost more than you expect them to. Our next stop will be local hardware stores to check out their offerings. We really like IKEA's set up and displays. They are so realistic with the walls and all, it makes you feel like you are walking into a real kitchen unlike the hardware stores where you are just looking at the counties tops and cupboards. One things we observed with IKEA is they have lots of stark white cabinets. They brighten the room, but stark white against dark brown floors woudld be doo much of a contrast. And reminds me of the black and white high contrast baby books they make for tummy time. A little too contrasty for me. So, here we are looking at an investment as ours is still functional so there really isn't a rush. My husband has a point, let's spread out our large purchases over the years and not do everything at once. This year will possibly be the kitchen. Next year will be painting the house. And there is a good possibility of doing the ac and heating units. Last month was the fridge. And a few years back it was the washer and a few months after that it was the dryer. So in the end everything is pretty much spread out. Oh, don't forget the dishwasher and around 5 years ago it was the dishwasher and hot tub. The good news we're not in debt.

I haven't been to IKEA in years. I've always had fun experiences looking at the multiple room…read moredisplays within the claustrophobic building interior. Maze of displays and merchandise of furniture (for every room), shelving, lighting, houseware, storage, linens, towels, rugs, live plants, art, curtains, cutlery, and Swedish snacks. But I don't go on the weekends. That's when it's full throttle crowded. My last shopping experience was on a recent late weekday afternoon. Before I go into the not so great moments, let me tell you the great stuff. The cafeteria food server was terrific. A lot of indecisive folks ordering good and asking questions, she handled it like a pro and kept the line moving. The cashier assisting at the first floor self check out was super helpful. Most of the furniture is made of sustainable materials and cheaply priced. Heck the majority of the furniture in my home is from IKEA. If hauling and assembling your own furniture is not your thing, keep in mind they offer assembly and delivery for additional costs. I've done both. You can check inventory quantity and the aisle and bin # location of furniture items on their website. Not so great: On my visit, the restrooms on the second floor, next to the cafeteria, were in awful shape. They changed the restrooms to multiple toilet rooms with motion activated low flow flush toilets. I encountered horrible bathroom toilet visuals. I went into 4 vacant toilet closets to get one without a #2. Grody! Then the toilet did not flush, there is no bypass button. Purely just motion activated that was not working. IKEA- for goodness sake, go back to the drawing board on these toilets. Also the cafeteria was low on several food items and ran out of coffee. Surprisingly since it was around 4pm, nearing early bird dinner time. Maybe a good thing considering the toilet situation. But not great when you paid for a cup of coffee and waited over 20 minutes. I was assured by the cashier, when paying for a coffee, that it won't take long to brew a fresh batch. Possibly staff can monitor the coffee. Plus I didn't understand why the cafeteria cashier letting line cutters in. He allowed a customer to cut the queue to purchase a drink. I didn't say anything to either the cashier or customer. But my opinion is that the customer go through the queue and get in line behind the others; bypassing the hot food line makes sense but not the line of folks queuing up to pay.
