Bulgogi noods
Candace C.

I have been waiting for this truck to come to my neighborhood and it finally did. Pretty much ordered most of the menu because I wasn't sure when it would be back again. Ordered the Pork wontons, Bang bang shrimp, Korean chicken hot honey bao, Bulgogi yakisoba noodles, and fried rice. The wontons were very good. The bang bang shrimp were good, but the shrimp were small and little fishy tasting. The bao was our favorite, nice flavor and perfectly cooked bun. Wish the chicken would have had more of a crunch. The noods were were perfectly cooked and savory. I would skip the fried rice. Over all, very delish! Hope they come back soon.

Bang bang shrimp

My job had this food truck come out one week. I didn't know what to expect so I had very low expectations. When I walked up there was a line so once it got to my turn they closed the window. I stood there for a few minutes and socialized till they returned. They took my order and I didn't wait too long. I ordered Bang Bang Shrimp. The only thing my coworker and I agreed on was a larger portion size other than that It was very yummy! A lot yummier than restaurants that I've visited. If I see them around I'd definitely stop grab something. I recommend!

Delicious bao tacos!!
Sm H.

Delicious!! Caught them at Augusta Food Fest. It was one of our favorites. Went back for seconds! The bao "tacos" were fabulous and worth every penny (more than fair pricing). Service was very friendly but it did take a little while to get your order. Would definitely eat here again when it comes to town!

Pork Belly Bao Buns with Peanut Butter BBQ
Celest C.

Get the Bao Buns. Seriously. You cannot go wrong. We tried the pork belly with peanut butter bbq and the beef with kimchi. I'll be having food dreams about those bao buns--so good. The wontons we tried were also good, but the bao buns were amazing.

Ginger cashew chicken + spicy veggie noodles

Amazing food!!! I like the noodles a tad more then the chicken but both were delicious! Hope they keep coming back to Pineville :) Support small and local businesses!

With it being my first time back in Fort Mill after sometime, I was ecstatic to see this place show up. Upon entrance, the elevated honeycomb seating on the right immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to sit there. The staff was polite in greeting me and provided recommendations after I sat down. For a drink, I decided to try the POKKA Oolong Tea, which was a toss up on whether I'd enjoy it. It was delicious and settled perfectly with all the food. For an appetizer, I decided to get the Tokoyaki which came in a solid portion and tasted great. For my ramen dish, I opted for a house favorite, Spicy Garlic Ramen with a level 2 heat. The whole dish was a perfect balance of tasty topping, well cooked noodles, and a delicious broth. The pork was so tender and of good quality. All in all, this place has such a wonderful atmosphere for grabbing some food by yourself or with friends. The small plates make for perfect sharing and the seating arrangement breeds a feeling of togetherness so often missing from dining experiences. The staff was so kind and helpful, and I even got to learn a bit about the beauty of Indonesia.

Our server Abby R was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a trio of appetizers for the table: Szechuan dumplings, wonton chips with crab Rangoon dip, and KFC (Korean fried chicken). The wings were as good as expected, great flavor, piping hot and crunchy. The real surprise was the wonton and Rangoon dip combination. Just a stellar idea, executed spectacularly. The Szechuan dumplings were a little spicy and tasty, but they were just warm, which gave them an oily mouth feel. I got a to-go order of pork fried rice, and I have to say, I could've done without it. Pulled pork just doesn't go with fried rice, flavorwise or texturally. The biggest disappointment about the meal was when I attempted to settle my tab. I walked to the front counter and was confronted by a young woman who snapped, "We don't take money up here!" Thankfully, Abby came out and took my payment, but the first young lady was so offputting, it will be a while before I go back, if ever. Definitely not how you convert a first-timer into a regular customer.

There were only 4 of us. They have 4 VERY low chairs at the front to wait. It was a Monday and there were only about 5 tables of people ... the rest of the restaurant was empty. So it was ridiculous to ask us to wait in the uncomfortable low chairs. I grabbed one of the chairs from the empty tables and used it to wait. When all arrived, we sat at a table near a window for the view. Our waiter took our order.... and then we waited, and waited, and waited. Omgosh it took so long for our food to come out. Everyone at our table commented they probably only had one cook. Finally when the food arrived, it really was good. I got the pineapple glazed salmon ($46) with coconut rice ($10). The salmon was thick and very good. Coconut rice was made from coconut milk and also very good. 2 ladies got sushi and said it was good. For my birthday, the waiter brought out a small treat. After dinner, we went on the rooftop to see the view.

A few minutes after my friend and I (walk-ins) ordered on the patio, I was asked to insert my card for a $50 pre-authorization. I've dined at many upscale restaurants and have never been asked to pre-authorize my card after ordering at a sit-down table. When the charge posted instead of simply dropping off, I called the manager. She apologized, confirmed it would be returned to my card (it was), and told me this was standard policy for all guests due to walkouts. However, I couldn't find any mention of this policy on their website or in the restaurant. A few days later, I called as a customer to ask about their payment policies. I was told that neither walk-ins nor reservations are required to pre-authorize a card, except for certain pre-booked experiences. When I explained what had happened, the employee was surprised, apologized, and said they had never heard of that happening. I have no issue with restaurants using pre-authorizations--as long as the policy is clearly disclosed and applied consistently. For example, VINYL in Charlotte explicitly tells guests that everyone is subject to a pre-authorization, so there are no surprises. Based on my experience, this policy was neither transparent nor consistently applied, and the conflicting explanations left me questioning why I was asked to pre-authorize my card when other guests were not. Because of that, I'll choose to spend my money elsewhere. Why was I asked to whip out my card & pre-authorize a $50 charge immediately after ordering when it's not standard policy and other guests weren't asked to do the same? How do you pick and choose which guests to pre authorize? What are you basing it on?
