So far, my experience with WLB has continued to be extremely good. I would continue to give Spencer 5 *'s. He is kind, respectful and very responsive. He continues to answer every question I have and is very helpful. I would also give Tracy a high rating - she manages the building and handles things such as maintenance requests and parking issues. So far, we've put in several maintenance requests - power outages, smoke detector beeping but too high to reach, clothes washer, kid locked out of building, etc. She has quickly responded each time and has had each maintenance request handled promptly. She is also the person to call if someone takes your parking spot (this can happen in a busy city center). She's always answered my inquiries for this, even on a weekend late at night, right away. It is still challenging for the towing people to move the offending car, but that's not for lack of Tracy contacting them. Also, Sarin, who coordinates parking spots, I have found to be pleasant and helpful. The maintenance guys who have come have also been respectful and efficient. I've seen the less than favorable reviews, but they do not reflect my experience. I want to give recognition where it is due, and my current opinion remains that they are pleasant and easy to deal with. We have renewed for another year.

I lost my job due to the economy, I spoke with them and asked if they'd be willing to work with me and instead of trying they took me right to court. Now, at court we were told they'd use the security deposit to the owed rent (it increased each year and each year I paid that increase). Instead they used that deposit to renovate the space - put in a new bathroom, kitchen appliances, rugs ect ect. Before they took us to court I found out I was pregnant and even brought that to the lawyer. They chose to ignore this and continue charging and unwilling to work with me. After living with them for three years they did NOTHING to help me out when hit with losing my job, which is uncontrollable in this economy. They are terrible, will up charge you and will do anything they can to squeeze every last penny out of you with no concern for you! While living there I had MANYMANYMANY issues with the apartment which were only FULLY fixed after they kicked us out but when we lived there I often had to submit multiple reports before they sent any type of maintenance out! This included the ceiling falling in on the tub, leaks from the ceiling into my personal belongings, ac leaking onto the rug causing a permanent odor, ants, and of course a flooded basement! They required renters insurance then the insurance couldn't do anything about my moldy belongings in the basement! The property managers did the least they could do maintain and keep water out of the basement and have no regard for your personal belongings! They think the location will make up for how poor the apartment space is! No way they should be charging over 1700 for that space given how poorly it is maintained and how quickly they'll slap a bandaid on an issue rather than actually finding a resolution!

Complaint Letter About Ongoing Illegal Parking at 38 Fountain St…read moreTo Whom It May Concern at Stonelink Property Management, I am writing once again to report the ongoing issue of illegal parking at 38 Fountain Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. I have contacted your office multiple times and have even spoken directly with staff about this problem, yet nothing has been done to address it. There is a large posted sign at the back of the parking lot clearly stating that unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Despite this, the rules are not being enforced. At this time, a Toyota Camry with license plate 2AJ 650 continues to park here illegally. The driver does not live at this property and is occupying a space that belongs to a resident. This situation is extremely frustrating. When management fails to enforce parking rules, it sends the message that anyone can park here, even if they have no connection to the building. Residents who pay rent and rely on their assigned parking spaces are being disrespected and inconvenienced. I am requesting that Stonelink take immediate action to enforce the posted parking policy. This includes issuing warnings, documenting violations, and towing unauthorized vehicles when necessary. The sign is meaningless if the rules are not upheld. They do not answer their phones, they do not respond to issues with the apartment (even when our heat was not working in 3 degree weather they did not even bring us a space heater!! Honestly it was so ridiculous), and when another family in our building had a problem rats they did not do anything to get rid of them! We moved right away once we found out about the rats, and their response was to try and charge us for extra months even though our lease was up! Honestly do not waste your time with these people, they are ridiculous and you will be ignored. If I could give 0 stars I would.

They then tried to evict us, even though the owner told us it was okay since the police made it clear it was all on the level. I should also include some pertinents: no one else lived in the building except my mother who rented the floor below us. there are only two units. literally no one complained. also, when they couldn't get in touch with me because it was Friday night at 9pm, they began harassing my elderly mother (who again, rents a separate apartment and has nothing to do with my LEGAL medical marijuana. Lawyered up and they backed down like the unprofessional losers they are. we broke our lease early to get away from these incompetent morons. do yourself a favor, avoid at all costs. the lawyer was provided to me by a veterans organization free of charge. he looked into Brian Weinstein at rent prov and apparently he is WELL known in the legal community as a royal POS.

I had him show me/us at least 30+ houses between MA, CT and RI. He helped my husband (at the time) and I buy our first home together in 2016, then later down the road when life happens and things don't work out, he then also helped us sell our home in 2018. Ben made what can be a very stressful process seem so seamless. We all had a few meals together, went on motorcycle rides and spent time together while Ben went out of his way to get to know us and what exactly we were looking for. To speak even more highly, the first time home we bought was in Connecticut where the agency was not yet licensed. Ben went out of his way to have his broker get licensed there just for us, and spent more time getting to know the area just for us as well. Inessa is ahead of sales and helps Jason with all the other services, she's always there when you need it, she has great contacts for contractors or anything you may need, she found great tenants for my apartments, and like Jason honest hard working person that will take the time to listen to your issues and resolve them. When I sold one of my house I went with Badger , Inessa sold it the first day it went on the market for more than the asking price (and the seller's market was not that great), She followed through with all the paperwork and supported me all the way until it was finalized .
