It was a beautiful day out, so we decided to sit outside on the patio beside the golf course so we could see the beautiful views of the golf course. We were very happy with the wait staff as were very pleasant and helpful and prompt. My only complaint was my tator tots were not quite done and were a little soggy, but the flavor was good. The chicken was outstanding, crispy, crunchy & juicy. Now, as far as the side, my wifes onion rings were near perfect. She also enjoyed the chicken. read more

Since the new management took over the first of 2025, the food quality has decreased and the prices have increased as much as 50% in one day. The food that I order is hit or miss on being prepared the way I ask for it. I used to eat there as much as three times in one day, but now I eat there once a day. The servers are great; But, the food is not like it used to be with the previous management. I would love to see new management take it back to where it once was.​ read more

I'm not sure what happened within the last few months, but where did the good waitresses go? The ladies there in the morning are so loud! 2 women working who appear to be best friends, talking as loud as possible - about customers, work, schedules, personal stuff... it's crazy. I can look passed the reheated breakfast potatoes, I can even look passed the sausage that is basically cheap scrapple... but I can't see why anyone would replace great service with these two. You can see how affected the business is, it's becoming a ghost town. Wish the owners knew what was going on cause it's really a great place. read more

Visiting with friends in Crossville, they took us to the 19th Hole one evening. The special that night was fried chicken. Two of us had fried chicken, one had a salad and the other had a chicken fried steak dinner. There weren't many complaints from any of us. The place was pretty packed inside so we sat outside. Of course, that's where those right off the golf course congregated. The crew out there this night were loud but I certainly can't fault the restaurant for that. We should have sat inside, I guess. It's a nice place and the setting is beautiful. Service was a tad slow but they were busy. Servers were very pleasant and friendly. There really wasn't much to complain about. Chicken was excellent, salad wonderful and the chicken friend steak delicious. We would definitely return. read more

Food is relatively good. Breakfast is quick and most servers are friendly. One server should be let go as she screams and talks extremely loudly so you can't have a conversation. Fireplace is nice when it's cold, when they actually turn it on. read more

We have enjoyed this restaurant for several years. Their french fries were the best I have ever tasted. Their portions were large. This appears to have changed. With my meal I ordered french fries and onion rings. The french fries were completely different from those that have been served in the past. The portions of both were very small. I was told that the restaurant was under new management and that things were changing. read more

Visiting from Houston, TX and my family took us here since it's close to their home in Tansi. So impressed! We did the 2/$20 dinner combo which was the drink, entree, AND dessert for each person. Every entree that was ordered was great! Best potato salad I've ever had. I had the tiger cake for dessert and it was also incredible. substandard!!! Coffee was cold and bitter. Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and bacon was a waste of money too. Bacon was undercooked and cheese was one slice of packaged chees. . the bottoms of our baskets were full of grease. P.S. don't ever order eggs scrambled eggs come in a flat square, cooked in some kind of oil. NEVER going back, even though we live here!! read more

I've lived in the Lake Tansi area for 17 years. This is the only place in Lake Tansi for breakfast from a menu. The food is hit and miss. It mainly depends on the cook but frequently misses due to food products substitutions. Not a single cook knows how to prepare eggs in any fashion. Fried, scrambled, and omelettes are nasty shiny, and rubbery. If you're inclined to order eggs I'd suggest poached medium but expect them raw sometimes. The pancakes are decent especially with blueberries. The biscuits are OK and the gravy is good. For lunch and dinner, the Patty Melt and burgers are usually reliable unless they change their patties, as I've experienced on numerous occasions. The specials are undersized and expensive. This business has gone through multiple operators and every time, it initially gets better then degrades until they change operators again. You'll get a better meal in town. read more

When we first moved here it was good but it seemed it got worse as time went on. We no longer go there. Tried it several times over but still the food is not that good. I loved the Black n Blue Burger but the last one I had was so dry and the topping tasted like paste. We don't go there anymore. read more

Family friends and I have been coming here for the past 20 years. Our most recent visit will unfortunately be our last. Some of the waitresses have good attitudes, but the service and disrespect we were shown while attempting to dine in for breakfast was beyond poor over the 4th of July weekend. After the waitress was being rude and quick with us over what appeared to be our large group (8), we felt as though we were a burden and not welcome. Upon deciding to leave before ordering food, the apparent owner approached my mother in law and yelled and pointed in her face, to the point we thought she may physically harm her. My husband ran over and was calmly trying to diffuse the situation as she backed his mother into a corner. We were told to "never ever come back again." We are very saddened to have had such a poor experience after years of great memories at the 19th Hole and Lake Tansi. read more

Can't beat the breakfast platters! Good food at a great price. Great sandwiches on the lunch menu. The sides could use an upgrade and avoid the boiled hot dog (need to be grilled!). All-in-all, I love this place and always look forward to visiting. read more

Recently had breakfast here which was totally unremarkable. The waitress was excellent, but the food was mediocre at best. Ordered eggs over medium they came over easy with runny whites, my wife ordered soft scrambled, the eggs were cooked hard. Sausage, gravy and biscuits right off the truck. Breakfast potatoes deep fried, so wrong! Menu prices very inexpensive. I would pay twice as much for a real "home cooked, quality breakfast. read more
