19th hole
Van D.

The 19th Hole is located at El Prado Golf Course. While waiting for one of our colleagues to arrive, my other colleague and I decided to hide from the heat in this well air conditioned hidden gem. Even after our colleague arrived, we were still here for a little bit enjoying that AC. They have spaced out tables, a bar area and a few TVs around the bar. We enjoyed a few rounds of shots and beers. Ulysses who was helping us was great. You should let him know if you are enjoying it inside or outside in the golf course. The difference would be a glass cup or a plastic cup. I highly recommend their chilled Apple flavored Jack Daniels ($5/each). When we needed to take these outside, Ulysses was nice enough to put these in cups for me so I don't spill them. For the beers, we all had different beers ($6.50/each) from their tap: 805, Modelo and something from Golden Road. The cold beers were refreshing for the hot day. Great spot to stop by for drinks before, during and after your golfing adventures.

After a great 19 holes nothing better than the great service from Tina & Lauren and a nice cold beer. They have the best Burger in town

While waiting for our food orders from other spots, my friends and I hung out at the Piju Social Hour bar. As the re-grand opening special, they had a buy 1 get one for 5 cents deal, but their regular prices are already a great deal. My friends had the Hotter Than the Dickens ($13) and Kirin ($7.99) for both rounds. I started off with a Lychee For Me ($12) and then a Sangria ($?). We all enjoyed our drinks. If I had to give feedback to the business I would like the lychee for me to have some fresh fruit lychee as a garnish, and some diced apples in the sangria for a fruity bite. We also got a glass with 2 transaction as a part of the re-grand opening special. It was a nice surprise! Amazing location. Great place to grab a drink while hanging out at the food hall or waiting for your other food orders. They also have a TV and very friendly staff to keep you company. They even gave these complimentary spicy peanuts and spicy lobster chips. It was just too spicy for me. Will definitely be back to Piju Social Hour the next time I visit the Chino Hills Cravings by 99 Ranch food hall! Cheers!!

Down the Rabbit Hole at STORY -- Anaheim Hills…read more If you've ever wanted to fall straight into Wonderland, STORY in Anaheim Hills is your rabbit hole. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. STORY is more than a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating, planning a girls' day, or just want to escape into something beautiful, put on your favorite hat and come play. We'll absolutely be back.

While my kids ordered off the menu, my husband and I enjoyed the Mat Hatter Tea experience. My kids got the short rib pasta, the biscuits & gravy, and Italian Baked eggs, they enjoyed all of it! And of course I had to steal some of my son's baked eggs since I loved them so much from my last visit. The Mad Hatter's tea is not a traditional tea, but it was fun and different. It was reasonably priced and came with a glass of sparkling wine that you can enhance with a blue liquid (I believe it's a butterfly tea syrup) to change the color into a beautiful purple hue. The tea served is Tea Forte tea bags, rather than loose leaf teas. They do have the typical tea sandwiches, but there are also additional savory items like a cheese pinwheel and a cheese skewer. In addition to the scone and biscuit, they also had danishes and fruit. Wish they had cream for the scones, but they had jam and butter. Loved seeing all the groups dressed up for their tea parties in their fancy hats and having a great time.

Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Even more impressive, most of our food arrived within 5-10 minutes of ordering. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Chimichanga, which took a little longer than the rest of the meals, but it was absolutely worth the wait. It was hands down the best chimichanga I've ever had at a restaurant, and the leftovers were just as delicious the next day! Our only complaint was that the music in the patio area, where we were seated, was a bit too loud. We had to ask twice for the volume to be lowered so we could comfortably hear each other during conversation. Once it was turned down, the atmosphere was much more enjoyable. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, and the entire experience was fantastic. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be stopping by!

I love that it had a casual feel and tons of tv's to watch MLB games. After we were seated we were immediately greeted by our server. I can't remember her name (unfortunately), but she was really friendly and had a warm smile. She was very busy with a large party, but she was still able tend to all her tables and we never felt neglected. We had a cheeseburger and the steak sandwich, both of which were excellent. Oh, and a side salad and tater tots. And the icing on the cake at this restaurant is that they serve Coke product fountain drinks! So delicious to accompany the food here. I would love to come back and try other items on the menu. The only bummer thing is that we don't live close to Chino Hills at all. We just happened to be in the area this morning. I have no idea when we will be back, but when we are, we will come back here. I definitely wish there was a fun and delicious place like this near us in Orange County.

The restaurant was rented out for a few hours to host an event for my family. Everything was done with elegance and class; it was such a pleasure to have booked this restaurant. A special thank you to the owners, managers, and staff who made this a beautiful experience. Thank you also to our server, Jose, who without a doubt would be the reason for many of us returning. This was my first time here with my family, but definitely not my last. Only con: limited parking in front; but it is so worth finding a parking spot. They put much effort into this place. I really appreciate the ambiance; it was a pleasant one. Highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it. If I can offer what item to try, it would be either the bowel, birriaqueso tacos, or burrito amor. Hands down BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN CHINO HILLS! (Sorry didn't get pictures) next time

We waited for a table while the hostess was seated at the table next to where we were standing. They had one waitress covering the handful of patrons which led to long waits for everything. We ordered Camarones a la Diabla and the taquito combo. They screwed up and gave my wife flautas instead. I got medium spiciness for the shrimp but there was no spice. After I ordered more food because of the portions this place provides. The food portions are like a cross between kindergarten and a fancy restaurant. The food portions offer more plate than food and the rice comes in the shape of whatever scoop was used. After ordering more food, the waitress then told me that she should've let me know that what I ordered wasn't very popular because of the size.... Because there are only like 8 small shrimp. Beyond the problem with the portions, the taste wasn't very good. It's definitely an upgrade to Taco Bell... but consistent with Mexican food in a primarily Caucasian neighborhood. After messing up the order, they then forgot a drink I'd ordered. The restaurant was quieter than Kalaveras, which they replaced. It was much quieter and didn't have the club feel.

The restaurant was practically empty, which already gave off an odd vibe. They had a stage with live music, but it felt unnecessary given the lack of atmosphere or crowd. The food selection was very limited and mostly steamed, which didn't help with flavor or texture. That said, the omelette bar and the chilaquiles were solid -- definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything else was pretty underwhelming for a $40 price tag. They offer bottomless mimosas, but here's the kicker: it's only for women. Men have to pay an extra $15. That gender pricing didn't sit right with me. On the plus side, the service was great. The servers were friendly and attentive throughout. But overall, the place gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a brunch spot. Also -- pro tip -- the final amount you pay can vary depending on whether you use cash or card, so be mindful. Not worth the price in its current state, but it might have potential if they rework the food and atmosphere.

Our favorites were the Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji (we ordered the Classic), Chole Bhatura, and the Jaamun Shot. The Papdi Chaat was exactly what we expected and was decent. The Bhel Puri and Pani Puri were probably our least favorite dishes. For the pani puri, the pani was bland and lacking flavor and the puri barely had any filling. The Bhel Puri was more tart than I expected and could have used a bit more green chutney and sweet chutney. I didn't try it myself, but my father-in-law ordered the Masala Jaljeera and he didn't seem to be a big fan. He mentioned that maybe he should have ordered the Kokum Jeera Soda instead. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance casual. Service was a little slow at the beginning, but once we placed our order, the food came out very quickly. I do wish they had given us a little more time to enjoy a few dishes before bringing out the rest. Our table felt pretty crowded when everything came out at the same time and we were shuffling dishes to make space while we ate. To be fair, we ordered a lot of food, and we probably could have asked for the dishes to be brought out in stages. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars, though I'd probably place it somewhere between 3.5 and 4. I'd definitely come back to try other menu items if I was in the area.
