Piju social hour inside Cravings food market and in the center with 3 TVs and great seating
    Tsung S.

First of all piju is located inside Cravings food market! It's a bar with craft beers and few cocktail mixed drinks options along with a good selection of restaurants! While enjoying my chicken from big bad chicken and hainan chicken rice (that's right I double chickened!), I decided to give this place a try. Their passion fruit margarita was tasty and it was a big glass. Very refreshing to go with the food. I got to talk to the bar tender Jacqueline, and she was great! She let me know how this place opened before pandemic and it just wasn't the same after and was actually forced to shut down for some time due to covid restrictions. If you see Jacqueline at work tell her the Taiwanese helper sent you there! They are having a regrand opening event this weekend 2/25-26/2023 with sweet deals so I highly recommend coming out! I think it's buy 1 get second drink for 5 cents?? And you can use the receipt from piju to get 10% off entire order at Hainan chicken rice! I love the concept but the hours are 12-730pm at the moment so it's a bit limiting until the weekend. Jacqueline mentioned until restaurants here open till late, it's hard to justify them opening late as well. Lastly, it's hard finding workers who are qualified to serve food AND alcohol! New California work law. Please support them and be kind while everyone struggles to find quality workers!

Came for drinks on the way to a show. Pretty solid place. Bought one and got one for a penny. Drinks were pretty solid for the price.it's a nice place to have drinks in the middle of the food hall. I would recommend this place if you are eating. On the table there is a menu with some discount for places to eat. Overall would come back for the drinks. They were just the perfect amount of sweetness and alcohol.

Piju Social Hour is a great spot located inside Cravings (by 99 Ranch) to enjoy a few beers, while your significant other or family member shops for groceries. If every grocery store had a small bar, I would certainly volunteer to accompany my wife more often. Piju has a small selection of draft beers, sake, and wine. On one occasion, Piju even had a popular IPA on special for $3.50, which is a great price. Occasionally, we also order food from one of the many interior restaurants, which is also convenient. They have two large TVs with sports and news. Shopping carts are not allowed inside the Piju area, but there is plenty of cart parking right outside the rail that separates it from the grocery portion of Cravings. The other thing I like about Piju is they have a TouchTunes machine that has thousands of sounds. I have yet to find a song that management has blocked from being played. This is an issue at other places that have TouchTunes machines. From time to time, it's entertaining to select unique songs and watch people's reactions. Regarding the service, it has always been good. When it's time to grocery shop at Cravings, you can find me at Piju!

    But 1 Get 2nd for 5 Cents

It's a good thing that Cravings by 99 has a little bar area. They have a buy one and get the second drink for 5 cents deal going on right now. My friends and I decided to order 3 Lychee cocktails and 1 Mai Tai cocktail. They had a few other cocktails on their menu, but the bartenders only had those two available. We ended up receiving the wrong order - and got 2 Lychees and 2 Mai Tais instead. My friend was too lazy to exchange her order to the right now, so she just stuck with the Mai Tai. The Lychee cocktail was pretty good, but the Mai Tai was okay. There are also beers, sangrias, sojus, and other drinks available. It isn't a full bar, so there is a limited drink selection.

Great Asian Plaza, Wonderful Service. DELICIOUS Beer. I'll be back forsure. On Saturdays right now buy one beer and get one for a dollar. Jacquelin is a wonderful bartender, she is a Joy to talk with. Check it out!

    Yukari Asahi- pink beer!

A nice little gem in the new Cravings marketplace and food court, with a good selection of local and import beers in bottles and on draft. I got their special Yukari Asahi for only $5- what a deal! It was a pint glass of pink-colored Asahi beer on draft, and it was very refreshing, light and crisp. Definitely worth every dollar spent! The only slight downside is that I wished they had more local craft brews on tap, but that is strictly a preference of mine that does not take away from the fact that there's even a bar in a Chinese marketplace! They also have some good pitcher deals for some of the beers, so if you're with friends of legal drinking age, there's bound to be plenty of good bubbly to go around!

Mimosa Drink (and my food from the wingman chicken place behind it)
    Ashley J.

Had a mimosa here for $6 (6.50 ish if counting tax). Good place to get your food and sit down for a drink in the middle of cravings. Honestly a little pricey for not a full glass (it was more half or 2/3s) I would've liked but overall it was fine.

Smack dab in the middle of Cravings, this is like a little playground for adults. Fairly good selection of beers. There are about 5 taps of beer as well as bottle selections. On tap included varieties of Ballast Point Sculpin, 805, Red Trolley and a couple others. Nice little spot to break away from everything.

The strawberry margarita is kinda pale.

The strawberry margarita is a little pale. On the other hand the beers cheap during happy hour. ‍

It's hefty, but they have an index in the back which shows all the pictures/descriptions of the food (amazing for any first timers). We ordered the dynamite steamed egg, kimchi cream pasta, cheese buldak (spicy chicken), and chicken gizzard stir fry. The steamed egg (4.8/5) is definitely an upgrade from usual steamed eggs. It's super fluffy and is the perfect start to any meal. They do kimchi pasta (4.5/5) right. It just hits Although I wish there was a bit more, the cheese buldak (4.9/5) is that silent creeper in terms of spice but super delicious (tip: ask for rice so that you can mix it with the leftover sauce). The chicken gizzard stir fry (4/5) is that great balance between chewy and savory. Delicious. The service was amazing. The owner/servers are super attentive and accommodating beyond words. We were sitting near the door and people were smoking outside, so he ended up constantly closing the door and opening to let our dining experience not be negatively affected. Unmatched. They really care about their diners. It's a smaller place, so it can fill up rather quickly. Make sure to plan accordingly. It's definitely worth it. It's located within a plaza, so parking is plentiful. I will definitely be back to try the other menu items. A+++!

I have eaten my way through filet mignon, ribeyes that could make you emotional, slow braised short ribs that fall apart if you look at them too hard, and somehow, somehow, this corned beef just walked in, sat down at the head of the table, and said, "We're doing things differently now." The meat? Ridiculous. Tender in a way that makes you question physics. Moist without being greasy. Rich without crossing into that heavy, regret filled territory. Every bite felt like it had been engineered by someone who understands joy on a molecular level. And then, because apparently that wasn't enough, you get the balance. The sauerkraut cuts through with just the right tang. The Russian dressing slides in with this creamy, slightly sweet acidity that ties everything together like it has a degree in culinary diplomacy. Nothing fights. Nothing overwhelms. It's harmony. It's orchestral. It's borderline inappropriate how good it is. The rye bread? Let's talk about it. Toasty, flavorful, structurally sound, which matters, because this sandwich has presence. It doesn't just hold the sandwich, it participates. It shows up. It contributes. Now let me save you from making the same mistake I did: Do not order the fries. Listen, the curly fries are great. I'm not here to slander them. But pairing them with this sandwich is like trying to follow a standing ovation with a fireworks show indoors. It's too much. This sandwich is already peak decadence. Add fries, and you've crossed into excess that your soul, and your digestive system, will have a meeting about later. Next time, I am getting fruit. Something light. Something that respects what just happened on that plate. Final verdict: This isn't just a sandwich. It's an event. A commitment. A decision you don't make casually. And yes, I will absolutely be ordering it again.

They gave us some ground rules and led us to our tables. At the table you have a QR code where you can place drink orders. The bar brings out your drinks to the table. Service was fairly quick and friendly. The drinks were all sweet cocktails and in the "Matterhorn Lodge" theme. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. They do a good job of enforcing the theme. They had a "Yeti" come out and interact with the tables. Good for photo ops. They also had a magician doing a few tricks, and I enjoyed that the most.
