Food is excellent. We arrived at 2:35 pm and were told they told us to order. We ordered everything including the dessert. We were given the dessert before our food and said we want it at the end. The end came and we were told they were out of the dessert. Service ~ 1/5 STARS absolutely rude

We were looking for an authentic Indian place on our trip to Chino Hills. With a quick search, I found this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. This is in a strip mall so we were able to find parking easily. Once we walked in, we were seated almost immediately. The ambiance was very beautiful and decorated with traditional Indian decor. The server was very sweet and gave us complimentary dosa since they are launching it soon. The dosa was well made - soft and slightly crispy. It came with both coconut and tomato chutneys. It also came with a side of sambar. The dish was tasty and authentic. We also got a pan shot. It sounded interesting so we decided to try it out. It was yummy! We also got dabeli and vada pav. For entree we got the kofta curry and paneer tikka lababdar with garlic naan on the side. The vada pav was delicious and the dabeli was mouth watering. The paneer gravy was cooked to perfection. The flavor was great. The kofta curry was nice but not as good as the paneer gravy. The naan items were well roasted. All in all, the food was yummy and I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Indian food.

Your long awaited search for amazing authentic Indian food has come to an end, because it's here. And not only is it here, it's extremely inclusive with their veg cuisine! The inside of the restaurant has traditional aspects with a modern touch, giving it a more sleek and upbeat vibe. They have a full service bar too if you'd prefer a more casual Friday night styled dine instead of a table. Our server was very kind and while I didn't have much experience in ordering Indian food, he was helpful in picking out some of their top sellers, as you can see pictured below. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything tasted incredible. It's one thing I've always loved about Indian food, their great use of spices and seasonings that truly elevate dishes without ruining them, and kailash parbat did just that and more. The naan was flaky, it had stretch, it was perfect for dipping and mixing, the tikka was plentiful, flavorful and the dipping sauce added the cherry on top. The Dal, paneer and masala all had their individual flavors and spice and it gave a great distinction between the three, each with their own pros. I did not get to try dessert, however seeing as though this place has such amazing food I'll definitely be back to try it and add on.

Nice restaurant, food was good/okay. Some things needed more flavor. Pani puri- pretty good, but needed something to add to it in the puri. The pani and tamarind sauces were perfect. Bhel - everyone loved this Corn basket - weird combos of flavors Pav bhaji - everyone loved this Paneer appetizer - a bit too plain, needed more flavor or needed to be cooked tandoori style more. It was way too soft and flimsy. The sauce it comes with was not flavorful. Cheese naan - the cheese tasted funny but the naan was good. My child wasn't a fan. Mumbai sandwich - needed more flavor, it was a bit too mushy and the cheese didn't taste good with it, I would say no cheese next time and to add more seasoning. Mango lassi - really good! My child loved it! Virgin Mojito - really good! I'd like to come back and try out other dishes. The place is nice, employees are nice and food came quick. But the bathrooms could have been cleaned better.

I had high hopes for this restaurant because I have eaten at the original one in India and they did not disappoint. Service is fast, food is spot on in taste, presentation and variety. Quantity is just right and the quality is top class! I only took one picture but we loved pani puri, dabeli, paav bhaji, chhole and falooda. Yummy!

Recently I visited Kailash Parbat and tried the Indian snacks here like Vada pav, Dahi Bhalla papdi chat, Chole Bhature and Amritsari Soya Chaap. I loved the Dahi Bhalla papdi chat here and also the Chole Bhature was their signature dish and worth trying. Vada pav was also good. Just the soya chaap could have been more smoky and spicy. Also we tried their masala tea which was the best!! Next time I would definitely try their Indian Thalis. Also the service staff gave good recommendations. Overall I would say it's a good place, the vibe and ambiance is chill.

I've been wanting to try Kailash Parbat for quite some time, especially since it keeps popping up in my searches for well-known and highly talked-about dining spots. Based on the reputation and brand, I went in with pretty high expectations. We ordered a good variety from the menu: Sev Puri, Corn Basket, Vada Pav, Classic Paneer Tikka, and Stuffed Mushrooms. Overall, the food was genuinely good and full of flavor. Each dish tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The stuffed mushrooms were the clear standout--rich, well seasoned, and easily a must-order if you're dining here. The paneer tikka was nicely cooked, and the chaat items hit the right balance of tangy and savory. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. The restaurant was almost completely empty during our visit, so I expected attentive and welcoming service, but it felt nearly non-existent. We had to look around multiple times to get help, and even basic check-ins never really happened. What stood out most was that the only other table in the restaurant also had to get up and find someone just to get their bill, which confirmed it wasn't just us. When there are only two tables being served, service should be proactive and polished, especially for a restaurant with this kind of reputation. A simple greeting, checking in, or being visible on the floor would have made a big difference. The restaurant itself looks great--modern, clean, and well designed, which adds to the dining experience and shows attention to detail in the space. I would come back again because the food is solid and flavorful, but the service and overall hospitality need improvement. A more welcoming and attentive staff would really elevate the experience and bring it in line with what this brand promises.

It was one of the busiest day of the year during Diwali festival. They were so busy, so food quality was mediocre. In my opinion it was not worth the hype of "Kailas Parvat"

    Papad & Butter Naan flatbread

Kailash Parbat (Chino Hills) delivered a festive, spicy experience. The Lunch Special (Mon to Fri, 11:30AM to 3PM) offered competitive, tasty deals. I ordered the Paneer Butter Masala Meal ($17.99); this vegetarian meal was satisfying, flavorful, and hot The Paneer Butter Masala Meal included fluffy Jeera Rice, soft Paneer (Mild Indian Cheese) in savory Butter Masala sauce, crisp Papad, and Butter Naan flatbread. It also comes with dessert (sweet, syrupy Gulab Jamun). It's a satisfying vegetarian meal! The textures and spices are an adventure of comforting flavors. If I had to nitpick, the Butter Naan flatbread was a little soggy and floppy. Thankfully, it easily soaked up the hot Butter Masala's thick, smooth sauce. In addition, I think offering guests "spiciness levels" (examples: mild, medium, hot) rather than one heat would accommodate more guests. Unfortunately, my dining partner found the meal too spicy for her tastebuds. Personally, I enjoyed the nice, hot kick. Staff is courteous and welcoming. I was seated quickly. In addition, the meal arrived within seven minutes and 15 seconds. Fast! I appreciated the quick, helpful service. The ambiance is very festive. The theme of Bollywood felt captured in the decor and high-energy Indian music. However, Kailash Parbat (Chino Hills) felt unpolished and confusing. For example, my table felt slightly sticky when I sat down. The flatscreen tv strangely looped a silent Kailash Parbat commercial. And the place felt very empty when I'd arrived (around 1PM); serving staff awkwardly stood around silently from the lack of customers. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Kailash Parbat (Chino Hills). This Indian restaurant that sells ethnic, vegetarian North Indian and Sindhi cuisine is flavorful and satisfying. If searching for delicious vegetarian food, I recommend! 4.5/5

we saw this spot on tiktok, and while we haven't had a lot of vegan food, this was incredible! everything was so flavorful and creamy. the servers gave us great recommendations as well. my parents love spicy food, and the chilli garlic naan was the perfect blend of spice and garlic on warm and fluffy naan! the chole bhatura is also a must try for the creamy curry and beautifully puffy bread to dip with.

Ask the Community - Kailash Parbat

How is the spice level? Are they able to accommodate making this less spicy for children or those who don't tolerate spice?

Yes, I have a 20 month old that I bring, and you just ask them specifically for items to be non spicy. They are there to accommodate and want quests leaving full and happy. 😊

Does this have any meat dishes?

No, this is a vegetarian location, and they do not cook with meat. However, you don't miss the meat when eating from here. I'm not a vegan/vegetarian and love their cuisine! I honestly crave it several times a month. Give it a try, and you will see.

They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers.
