We worked with Emily as our lead planner, and she was 100% the perfect fit for us as a couple and for our mountain ranch venue. I was lucky enough to get Britni from The 530 Bride as our lead coordinator. I enjoyed speaking with her right from the start during our consultation and felt so at ease. She was responsive and very easy-going, which fit our style perfectly. We wanted someone who could make our day (and the process - we got the wedding management package) run smoothly, but not someone who would get so caught up in being "on schedule" that it made things feel like a chore. Britni fit our needs perfectly and when there were hiccups with any vendors along the way, she'd provide me with support whether it was listening to me vent or helping me with the best approach in dealing with the situation. I'm used to being the person who "takes care of things," makes sure everyone's having a good time, and checks in to see if anyone needs anything, so it was definitely different for me to have someone take care of things FOR me, but Britni was so amazing (and her assistants). Britni was very helpful since day 1, which was unexpected for us since we thought she would only make herself available close to the wedding day as we hired her for day-of services. Veronica and her right hand, Delphine were AMAZING! My husband and I got married at the end of October at our families almond orchard near Chico! During our planning process we weren't sure if we wanted to hire a coordinator, or just DIY the whole way. Thank goodness for these two wonderful ladies. They mapped out a detailed timeline, they made sure to ask us questions of things we didn't think to even think about, they were completely professional, and they were able to coordinate through our 14 person bridal party! Veronica is the best! We wanted to have a wedding coordinator just to facilitate the wedding and to remind us of few things we'll forget. Veronica did more than those things! We had a lot of meetings with her and she never said no when we ask her if we can meet up just to finalize some designs. She helps too with the decorations and she has a lot of resources. It is truly disappointing having to leave this review considering the review I've left in the past. We postponed our wedding two times due to COVID and we finally had it on 10/16. As it got closer, Veronica was difficult to work with. She would send the initial email to start communication and then would not return my emails when we were trying to plan meetings. She was disrespectful to the venue owners at the wedding and was extremely argumentative. At our rehearsal, the venue owner wanted to go over the venue rules, she was rolling her eyes and making rude comments wanting the venue owner to hurry up. She made multiple snippy comments on things that were too late to change, such as table linens. We even over heard her bad mouthing our wedding decor. She spent our entire wedding sitting behind the bar and my photographer had to take over when it came to keeping things on a schedule. It's extremely disheartening that I had multiple people approach me on my wedding day expressing concerns over my planner. read more

We had simply the best experience with Veronica and the 530 Bride! My husband and I didn't have much in the way of ideas about what we envisioned for our wedding in the beginning so Veronica really helped us build something beautiful from scratch. She suggested vendors based on what we were looking for, but never pushed any specific vendors on us and was proactive about getting us quotes from people she hadn't worked with before if we asked about them. Veronica has a very relaxed vibe which is amazing during the stressful planning process. I would get stressed about how much there was left to do, or all the details we needed to coordinate but as soon as I had a planning call with Veronica, I would always realize that everything was under control. We really valued not having to coordinate with our vendors individually, not having to draw up a timeline, and not having to worry about setting up decorations, making sure people got their flowers, and 100 other details on the day of the wedding. If I had a concern about a vendor, Veronica would figure things out for me right away. She also worked really well with my mom who crafted a UHAUL full of decorations and in the last month was directly in contact with Veronica frequently. The week of the wedding, Veronica had everything under such great control but was also so flexible for last minute changes that my whole family said "Whatever she is charging you, it is not enough!" I cannot imagine how anyone plans a wedding without a professional coordinator and I can guarantee you my husband and I would have given up and eloped if it hadn't been for Veronica. The day of our wedding was absolutely magical. Everything went so smoothly and was more beautiful than we could have imagined or hoped. Delphine is very sweet, outgoing and responsive and I will give her credit for being a huge help with both the planning and set-up and takedown of our wedding. For anyone getting married, wedding planners do make life a lot less stressful day of and I believe them to be a good investment. Unfortunately, I think Delphine may have gotten overwhelmed with either their expanding company or her own upcoming wedding since a few key details were forgotten. In hindsight I wish I had been more involved with my vendors rather then trusting Delphine to take care of it so I could ensure that everything was being done. My biggest compliant was Delphine told me she would do something and it turned out it didn't happen. She told me to send her my must have picture list and she would forward it to my photographer, I did my part and she forgot to send it to him. I didn't get pictures with just me and MY MOM, as well as my Australia family, my husbands childhood crew and a host of others. I will take responsibility that I should have ensured this information was passed along, but I also trusted her to do what she said she would. There were also a few other details that were missed, such as we had bought 9 cases of beer to be put into troughs around the wedding and while she was not responsible to actually doing this she was responsible for coordinating that it did happen. She was also supposed to coordinate with the catering team to have drinks and appetizers available for the wedding party after the ceremony since we did not do a first look and we had a lot of photos that still needed to be taken. I talked to her about it multiple times leading up to the wedding and reminded her during rehearsal walk-through and it was still missed the day of. Thankfully, one of my friends went and loaded up on goodies and brought it over to the wedding party. Again, this was not a major deal, but it was just frustrating that something we went over several times was not followed up on. I feel like she was great with big picture but struggled with details and had a hard time anticipating needs. For instance, she was going to start the progression down the aisle since it was technically time to but since we were having limo issues (don't use Elite Limo) my parents had not arrived yet. If it had not been for my officiate noticing that my mom and dad weren't there as well as the rest of my family we would have had a major wedding mishap. We still had an amazing wedding and I will not deny the help she provided and hope that this helps future brides know what questions to ask when meeting with their planner. read more

I want to start out by saying that the 530 Bride and Delphine saved my wedding. i was about 6 weeks out when my wedding planner got a case of cold feet, got overwhelmed and sent back our money. My Husband actually was the one who found the 530 Bride for me because i was in a ball crying thinking i was going to have ton cancel my wedding that i had been anticipating for 2 years. I will not lie I was a little scared to go the meeting and get rejected, that is absolutely not what happened. I walked into a random Starbucks in Chico and met my Wedding Angel. We fell in love with Delphine in a matter of 2 minutes. She was very professional and had a great plan in place on how we were going to move forward, she even brought us a gift. She made me feel so comfortable, i knew she would take care of all of our needs and make our wedding day nothing short of amazing. Veronica (one of the employees) was absolutely incredible. I have never thought about wedding things until I was engaged and there was so much I did not know. A friend recommended 530 Bride to me because she also used them and said how wonderful they were. Honestly, Veronica planned my whole wedding. I put everything in her hands and she handled it beautifully. I was a very flexible bride, there wasn't very many things I really have thought about before getting married (i.e. center pieces, place settings, florals, decorations) and I didn't really care how everything looked, just as long as things went soothly. Oh and let me tell you about the wedding day! She ran EVERYTHING so wonderfully! I know things were going awry during the reception and ceremony and she made sure that I never noticed it! For example, there were definitely more people showing up than I thought so she quietly set up more tables and chairs and I never noticed!
