I like them both but a week or so ago one was "let go". This was done without notice, without considering what effect this might have on its clientele. OK, people lose positions all the time, right? Yeah, but the way they did it, their lack of loyalty, both to the KJ and to us their patrons who were not allowed one last night to say goodbye, that dismissal showed us all that WE were disregarded. A friend of ours ordered a burger with a turkey patty and it took forever to get from the kitchen. It took so long they gave us a complementary coupon for a meal in the future. When I asked why it took so long, they said all the turkey patties were frozen and it was taking too long to thaw out. I'm glad it wasn't my burger because I would've hated to know that I just ate a frozen patty. It makes me question the quality of the rest of their burgers at this point. If you have never been here, it is a must see experience. The place is huge and every room has hidden surprises. This is still a Chico staple and I will always come back when I visit.

Leo came by and cleaned our table off. Unfortunately I had removed my lower partial denture to eat and I wrapped it up in a napkin. I wasn't paying attention and Leo grabbed our baskets and empty drinks for us. About 30 minutes later my gal says where is your denture? Oh NO!!!!! IT GOT THROWN AWAY!!! So I found Leo and told him to see if he remembered which garbage can it may have been tossed in. We went to the first one he apologized but it wasn't his fault. I dug in and couldn't find it in the first can and it was a mess. Nasty! But no denture. He says must be the can behind the bar. I expected him to bring it out for me to dig through. Nope Leo dives in digging through the trash and about half way in the nasty mess he suddenly pops up with my denture in hand!!!!! Hands it to me. Amazed he didn't hesitate to help find it. And apologized for taking it. It's was his fault and I appreciate his help BIG TIME! Saved me about $1700. Couldn't believe we found it. Can't say thanks enough for the effort. I personally witnessed the owners of this bar verbally and physically assault two young women for…read moredrinking water and soda outside of the front door even though the Bar Tender told them it was OK to do so. The male owner was visibly intoxicated and appeared to target them because they were young women standing by themselves with nobody else around. He literally screamed in their faces and physically snatched drinks out of their hands (water and soda) leaving one of the young women shaken and in tears. Soon after, two other women who appeared to intervene and stand up for the two younger women were then verbally harassed by the female owner who threated to call the Sherriff on them...(for standing up for two young women who were being harassed by your drunk husband...really ???). I have frequented this bar off and on over the years and used to really enjoy the place until the new owners took over and chased off everyone's favorite bar tender Lindsey. Seems to me all this could have been avoided by having a simple conversation with a customer "hey folks..im sorry but no drinks are allowed outside, not even water or soda's"....With all that being said, the current staff seems to be all good, but the owners are an absolute SHIT SHOW who appear to be getting "high on their own supply"...at the bar...and in the bathrooms! Normal and rational business owners do not react this way.
