I had my nails done here, and I was very disappointed with the quality. My gel nail polish started peeling off just two hours after my appointment. Gel polish should last at least a couple of weeks, not a few hours. I expected much better workmanship and durability, especially for the price. Showed up at ten it was empty employee Jessica was on the phone outside she motioned me to go inside the salon. I went I sat down waited for her. She was super rude from the beginning. Very pushy and rude. And unsanitary I saw her reuse dirty alcohol by filling it back into the container with the clean alcohol. Tammy did my hand nails she did an ok job she tried to be friendlier when I told her Jessica's customer service was terrible. Tammy hurt my left hand massaging it too hard and left my hand full of clear gel polish. Nail salon is very dirty. They offered me water when I first showed up and didn't give me until another customer showed up and asked for one. Vibes weren't there don't recommend. Decided to try a new spot for gel x and honestly was kind of disappointed... I got a gel pedicure and gel x extensions. I showed a reference pic to what kind of French tip I wanted and the lady kept asking me what color was the nail polish and I told I didn't know, but if she can find something similar. Hate to say it, but this was one of the worst pedicures I've had :( - The staff was nice and polite, but the woman doing my toes seemed inexperienced. - She asked if I wanted my toenails square or rounded...red flag number 1. Trimming toenails in a rounded way can cause in growns. - She asked if I wanted them shorter, I said just a little, as I'd let them grow out due to getting a bad ingrown toenail elsewhere. She then proceeded to cut them way too short. Red Flag number 2. - She the dug into the sides of my big toes so bad I had to pull my feet back multiple times, and didn't acknowledge or apologize once. Red flag number 3. After I left, I noticed the following: - Polish is very uneven, not even covering the whole nail. - It chipped the next day. - Cuts look uneven and just all around bad. Overall, this was unprofessional, careless, and honestly unacceptable. I left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. I will absolutely not be returning. From the moment I sat down, the service felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Both technicians who worked on me were rude and dismissive. At one point, one of them applied glue directly onto my skin. When I asked what was happening, I was ignored multiple times before finally being told that my skin was bleeding--something that should have been communicated immediately and handled with care. There was also unnecessary arguing throughout my service. The nail technician insisted I had chosen the same color that I was wearing when I clearly asked for a different one, and even after finishing, she continued to argue her point instead of focusing on customer satisfaction. She also argued with coworkers in front of me, paused my service to take a phone call, and seemed more interested in being "right" than providing a good experience. When she said she was finished, my nails were not properly cleaned up. I had to ask her to complete the final steps, as she initially told me to just wash my hands instead of finishing the gel chrome properly. On top of that, the pedicure was painful--I was cut multiple times and left bleeding. The overall cleanliness of the salon was also highly concerning. The entire experience felt chaotic, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I will not be returning. read more

Got a gel pedicure and gel builder fill. Pedicure was fine- toes look good. My big toe was slightly infected the day after- massage was subpar. - was basically a rub. Gel builder fill was so sloppy, i asked for medium thickness, nails came out thin. One broke the next day, my under nail was not filed to match the gel builder, the polish was messy on my fingers. Filed my own nails when i got home. Went back to get the nail fixed and was upset they were so thin- Tammy added a few top coats which subsequently started peeling off the day after. She fixed a nail, didn't file it properly so again i went home and filed my own nails. read more

Before I came I look at the prices and options. I wanted basic gel pedicure with solid color and it was $40. I came after work around 5:45 and it was super busy so I waited 30 minutes. Jessica helped me and I told her I just want the basic with gel solid color. After about 30 minutes she was done and I got up to pay and she told me it's $50. I thought it was odd and she repeated again $50. Eventhough as I was sitting there I keep on hearing $40 for pedicure or some with $45 which I assume it's French pedicure. It's too bad that Jessica has to be so dishonest when we are both Vietnamese. Lesson learn ask for the prices first before sitting down bc they will be dishonest. Up until now all of my manicures have been with Tammy (hopefully I'm spelling her name correctly) and they've been wonderful! Shes been helping me to grow my nails and has helped with every style I've asked for since I've started coming here. This latest service though, I am very disappointed with and will not be returning for another service. I will however add that I did appreciate that they offered to help me once Tammy finished with the client they double booked me with which would've been well after their closing hours. But by the time the offer was made all of this had already happened. I requested an appointment for a gel manicure with Tammy - as I always do - and was told 15 minutes after I arrived that she had another appointment and wouldn't be able to help me today. Which is fine, though I'm not sure why they'd book me with her if she was already booked. But they then offered to seat me with a different nail tech who would remove my gel nails and give me an organic manicure - which is what I requested - and I could return tomorrow for another appointment with Tammy. I was okay with this and agreed. I am not sure who the technician was but for starters she was rude when I asked if she could remove the gel nail, in its entirety, and then file them. Not trim ahead so she could remove the gel quickly. As I requested (and am paying for) a gel removal and not a partial removal. I had to repeat this on three different occasions before she proceeded to remove the nails (she only removed most of them btw and not all of them as I still have a partial gel nail on my pointer finger). In the middle of partially removing the gel nails, she asked if I wanted to try gel builder and I merely asked if she could explain to me what that was as I am not familiar with it. She proceeded to repeat that it's a gel builder with no additional information and then had another technician just continue to repeat to me "it's a gel builder". At that moment, I wanted to consult with Tammy as her and I have had numerous conversations about my nails, what she thought of a gel builder since again I had no information about what it was. At this point the technician just gets up and walks off and says I can come back later to be with Tammy. Again - just for asking for clarification. At this point, after all of the yanking and pulling on my hands, I decide I will not be coming back and politely decline and ask that she finish my manicure. She notes that my pink nail has broken about half way down and asked if it was hurting to which I said "yes - wow I hadn't realized it was broken so far down." As she continues with the manicure she files, buffs and scrapes at the broken nail and is visually frustrated as I express the pain it's causing me. Additionally, I asked that she shape my nails in a rounded square so I can just pay and leave. AFTER filing down two of my nails into what looks to be more of a coffin shape and I notice this and express that I do not what that, she then proceeds to tell me that my nails are chipped in the corner and she would need to file them this way because of that. I am completely understanding of this as I do desire to have healthy nails and if she had expressed this BEFORE filing them down and shaping them and not after she had already done this to two of them I would be okay with it. But why ask the shape I want if there's a shape that you a) think is better for my nails and b) are just going to do anyway? Then, after all of that, she proceeds to only give me a semi-classic manicure which again I asked for an organic manicure. And I call it a "semi" classic the pricing includes gel polish and seeing as I declined this, I shouldn't have had to still pay full pricing. read more

Please choose somewhere else to go. We both had the worst experiences of our lives. very unclean as well ladies. RUN. I had to go back a day later because all of the paint on one of my fingers completely came off mind you I had acrylic nails with gel paint on them. The gel paint was still wet and got all over my desk at work, my sweater, and my hands. Had to go back to get it fixed and the man did not apologize. He didn't even completely remove the nail. It was about a quarter inch shorter than the other thumb by the time he was done I couldn't ask him to redo anything because I didn't trust the work was gonna be right!!!! They did not offer a refund. I spent over $150 for manicure and pedicure. They switched between two different nail techs, and they had a miscommunication the guy that prepared my nails was preparing me for dip instead of gel!! The nails looked like they were grown out a week when they were first installed!!!!! Not painted down to the nail bed. I actually cut myself on multiple times on sharp the sides and corners of the square nails. Each nail was a different length and different shape. None of them were completely squared off everything was sloping. Also, the placement of the acrylic nail on my each finger is different: Some of them are tilted left, right, up, down. Also I went with a friend and took us at two different times when we had an appointment to get done together. my friend was left waiting an hour for me to be finished. Bad vibe. Her nails were bubbling and very thick and didn't look good as well. Instead of just telling her they couldn't do the ombré nails they brought out multiple people to try. They violently removed the nails from my hand, not soaking the acrylics off or grinding them down, just simply taking another nail and lifting them up and ripping them off my hand. By the way, the pedicure chipped within the week of having it. read more

I always get the deluxe which comes with a callus remover. She doesn't even lift my feet off and up to remove the callus on the bottom of my feet. She scrubs very lightly so nothing gets taken off. I really wish I didn't have to update my review because this salon had been great--until my most recent appointment. I had a 5:15 PM appointment booked with a very popular nail tech at this spot (who I won't name). Around 4:30 PM, she called and asked to push the appointment to 5:30 PM. I agreed, thinking it was no big deal--I had errands to run anyway. I showed up at 5:32 PM, only to see she was still in the middle of another client. That's fine--I expected a short wait. But what followed was honestly ridiculous. Someone came over, put me on a pedicure chair and put foils on my nails, but I sat with them untouched for 30 minutes. After that, I was moved to a table for the nail tech, still with foils on, and left there again for another 10-15 minutes. It wasn't until around 6:15 PM that I was actually being attended to--for a 5:30 appointment that was already rescheduled from 5:15. There was no apology. No "thank you for waiting" or even basic acknowledgment of the delay. Just silence. And then, to make things worse, after checking my nails, the tech reapplied the foils--for another 15 minutes. She was also on FaceTime during the appointment. Normally, I wouldn't mind--I'm quiet and don't chat during appointments--but under the circumstances, it just added to the feeling that my time wasn't being respected. Toward the end, I glanced at the nail colors, thinking about what I might want next time (still considering returning lol). Of all the things that could've been said--like "that's a nice color" or any kind of friendly comment--the only thing she said the entire time was a sharp "WHAT?" Like I was doing something wrong just by looking. That is where I drew the line. I walked out with my GEL BUILDER MANI at 7:25 PM. (Confirmed my call records this was the time lol) That's nearly two hours for an appointment (FOR A MANI LOL) that was supposed to begin at 5:15, then moved to 5:30, but didn't really start until after a little after 6. And honestly, I didn't even want to tip after that experience--but I still did, out of courtesy. Looking back, I wish I had spoken up more, but I was just ready to go. If you have an appointment, your service should start right there and then and appointments should be prioritized and not put on the back burner. I've been coming here consistently since I moved to the neighborhood in late 2024. I even stopped going to my old salon of 10 years in Santa Ana to come here--but sadly, it looks like I'm back on the search for a new nail place. I value my time and schedule appointments to avoid long waits like this. This experience was beyond frustrating. I've told my friends and family about this experience because as I previously recommended this place, I no longer recommend it. I will not be returning. read more

It was thanksgiving week making it busier than usual. I had a nail break off which has never happened to me before with gel x. This is literally five minutes from my house and my work which is amazing. They play great music. It's aesthetically pleasing. They have beverages and they have Tren equipment and options and colors and great personalities. best part is I was able to get a 7 PM nail appointment on Memorial Day! This is the first time I've ever been able to make an appointment at 7 PM at a nail salon. That alone is worth tons of accolades for this amazing establishment!! I had a really upsetting experience with Ammy. I got my nails done on Tuesday, and by Thursday, not only did the polish start peeling, but one of my fingers became infected. The manicure was sloppy and looked like it was done in a rush uneven nail shapes, messy finish, and no proper cuticle or prep work. I even asked for stronger products to prevent breakage, but clearly, that wasn't done. I reached out to her with photos and tried to politely explain how disappointed I was, but her response was dismissive and unhelpful. She kept insisting I come back, but I didn't feel comfortable returning after such poor service and an infection. She also refused to offer a refund. On top of that, I arrived early for my appointment, but she didn't start until 30 minutes late, and even then, everything felt rushed. She claimed she worked on my nails for over an hour, but the results say otherwise. You can clearly see in the photos how bad they looked after just three days like a grown-out manicure from weeks ago. My mom and sister had also been there before and were not happy with their results either. They both mentioned how uncomfortable it was that the staff kept talking in their own language during the appointment, making them feel excluded or even talked about. If the infection in my finger gets worse, I'll have no choice but to file a formal complaint, because this level of hygiene and customer care is unacceptable. I've been getting my nails done at 90s Nail Bar and I seriously can't recommend it enough! My nail tech Amy, is so sweet and takes the time to ask what shape and style I'm going for, which I really appreciate. She's super detail-oriented and always checks both hands to make sure every nail is perfectly shaped and symmetrical. I get the gel builder, and it consistently lasts me at least 3 weeks--no breaks, no lifting. That's HUGE for me as a makeup artist who's constantly working with my hands. I've never had a nail break, which says a lot about the quality! Amy is also amazing at nail art and always makes my nails look so cute and clean.
