We stayed here on a Saturday night in March as we did a short road trip. If you know us, you know…read morewe always try to stay at Hilton properties, and, we book ahead and use the digital key. We did the same for this trip and everything worked fine. The only thing different this time is that we used rewards points to pay for the stay. We arrived at the hotel about 6:30pm, parked and walked to the hotel entrance. There was a sign in the entry asking that guests pardon their dust as they renovate. It appears they are doing a refresh on the property. The carpet, paint and furnishings in the common areas look updated. There was an ice machine on our floor (3rd) which allowed us to add to our cooler. They have all the other usual amenities which we did not use including the outdoor pool which was still closed for the season, and a fitness center. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We did note that the desk chair, couch and window coverings were well worn and could use replacing but overall this is a budget friendly Hilton property that is very easily accessible to I-85 in Mebane.

We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Mebane, NC…read more During the overnight hours of September 3, 2025, our brand-new truck--along with at least four other vehicles--had the windows smashed out and were rummaged through by thieves in the hotel parking lot. What makes this even more concerning is that, according to police, this has happened at this property before. Despite this history, the hotel's security cameras are not actively monitored and are only motion-activated--meaning they failed to capture any of the break-ins. Adding to the frustration, the hotel staff were surprisingly nonchalant and offered little in the way of empathy or concern. There was no genuine apology for what is a very serious situation, which left us feeling that guest safety is not a priority here. Although the hotel did refund our stay, the damage was already done. Instead of starting our vacation as planned, we spent the next day in Durham arranging emergency repairs. A refund does not erase the stress, disruption, or the sense of vulnerability we experienced. As longtime Hilton patrons, this experience has unfortunately changed our opinion of the brand. In fact, for the rest of our trip we made the deliberate choice to avoid Hilton properties altogether--something we have never done before on this annual vacation, as Hilton has always been our trusted go-to. That in itself speaks volumes about how unsettling and disappointing this experience was. We expected far better safety measures and guest care from a Hilton property. It is clear that this issue is ongoing but not being adequately addressed. We will never stay at this location again and strongly urge other travelers to be aware of the serious safety risks before booking this hotel.

I've never heard of the Drury Inn & Suites until I had to stay in a small town in Burlington…read more I picked this hotel for the obvious reasons the ratings and the other yelpers reviews had nothing, but great this to say about this place that I had to stay and check it out for myself. The lobby is very clean the staff is professional and friendly. They only sell alcohol until midnight boo!, but it is what it is. They have a small little area where you can purchase food and snacks which is great. I love that they serve complimentary breakfast and dinner... yes! You heard me correctly complimentary dinner as well. Breakfast is the best in my opinion because the selection is so much better. My favorite is the biscuits with or without gravy and I call them ashy biscuits because they are not quite golden just perfect soft, tender and delicious. I'm not sure if they are made in house, but they definitely do taste homemade and absolutely delicious. I wish I had some apple butter with me. They have sausage, eggs and not the powdered mess you can taste the difference, cereals, potatoes O'Brien, Oatmeal, fresh fruit and so much more. You will not leave hungry I promise lol. It's in a great location right off the freeway and there is also nearby shipping etc... FYI.., the parking can be really scarce. Not enough parking at times so try to get in early if you can.

Trust the reviews, this place is FABULOUS! So clean, so fresh, so complimentary!…read more The bed is the perfect mix of hard and soft, slept like an adult male (not a baby, they don't sleep well) and woke refreshed. Complimentary dinner....GASP! What an idea.....but wait.....Complimentary DRINKS! Wowzaa. That's the winner! I'm picky about cleanliness and this has to be the cleanest place I've stayed. Plus the staff are so so friendly. Located in a great place too next to shopping and food. Ya seriously can't beat it!

Priceline didnt know that apparently but I lucked out and the staff got me a ground floor. If you have a disability, be SURE to ask for a Queen on the ground floor as the upstairs is not wheel chair accessible nor do they have an elevator, Its not the Ritz but the staff is super friendly, and you get a free breakfast in the morning and coffee and tea all day. You can walk across the lot to the Dennys. As long as I wake up tomorrow without bug bites or get stunk out by pot heads we are good! LOL. The downfall is the area-- its not very pretty and looks run down but what place around a truck stop does? So updating review at 1010am next morning--- staff STILL super friendly- they deserve awards in hospitality. The breakfast however was ABYSMAL. I got down at 800am to find nothing but 8 bagels. cold cereal, and waffles and coffee. No hard boiled eggs. no yogurt, no NOTHING else. So either everyone checked out and gobbled it all up before800am or this hotel is in serious financial trouble. There are NO bedbugs so yay! The rooms are clean and the sheets are super silky and soft. But my vents reeked of ciggie smoke late at night even though this is a STRICKTLY no smoking hotel. The three stars are for staff excellence as they worked so hard to accommodate me. They would be the only reason I would return. That said, somone else might have a different experience.

I reviewed a Wyndham Days inn in Tehachapi California that Yelp pulled, so hopefully this review…read morefinds you well. My reviews are pure, truthful, and uncut. That's why Yelp begs me to be an "elite" member every year, because of my honest reviews of various businesses Nationwide. My previous review of Wyndham Days inn was pulled because of a comment I made (even though they're breaking federal law per bill #EO14149), and an email from Yelp basically telling me that the feelings of a mentally unwell person is fundamental over warnings of safety and protection to families and small children. But that's San Francisco for ya, let's get to the review of THIS Days Inn. I'm parked across the street. It's not really hot but it's really humid and I wanted to stay somewhere air conditioned, and since I'm a Wyndham's member, (which I may pull out of, now) I booked a room here. Now, I've stayed in some pretty trap places in my day, I typically now stay in nicer hotels as of late but I'm typically not one to complain either way. I REALLY wanted to give this place 4 stars right when I walked in the doors, but you can see that it's digressed. First off I just want to say that the ladies up front are absolutely AWESOME!! SUPER NICE AND HAPPY AND PROFESSIONAL! GREAT GALS! I reserved a king room, which I typically do. And I don't know if this is just a location that Wyndham is overlooked, but this place is ragged. I'll start with the good. My bed feels comfy. AC works great. Now let's move on. There's no ice machine on the second floor, so you have to walk down the stairs, basically to the middle of the building on the first floor for ice. Not really that big of a deal for me but just compounding to the rest of my gripes. I walked into my room, and it was emanating an odor of musty, rotten oatmeal. Nothing you can't get acclimated to, not very strong, but definitely there. Could be the carpet? The TV is like from 2003. The first 1/3 of the left side of the screen isn't even lit up. It looks like a 28-in and I left my room key next to it so you can see exactly how small the TV is. The size doesn't matter, but I would at least like to watch something without having to squint and a bright enough display. (Unless I'm in a motel 6) The walls look like they haven't been wiped down in years. There are paint patches, Nicks, food stains, and directly over the trash can, it looks like somebody threw food against the wall simulating a basketball backboard into a basket. It's bugging me, so I might just wipe it down myself. The bathroom is old. But as long as the water works and the shower is slightly warm, I don't care. I typically get the free continental breakfast when I stay in hotels, but I might just give that a hard pass and go across the street to Denny's tomorrow. If I do decide to eat, I'll edit my review. My room was $101. I'm glad I only booked for one night because I typically book for 2, but seeing the condition that this room is in, I won't be staying beyond tonight. I had already spoke to the lady up front about extending my stay tomorrow morning, but that's not happening. I'm really disappointed in Wyndham for this particular location. I've never seen one of these SO run down. And being right across the street from a truck stop, I know that they're getting more than enough business to renovate and have better quality rooms. Either that, or they should cut their rates down to $49.99 a night, so your expectations aren't completely pummeled upon walking in the door. Had I known what I would have been walking into, I wouldn't have reserved this room.

The value is amazing and the interior is SO beautiful. For 2-person seating you're sat against a wall and the chairs are facing the interior of the room instead of straight across from each other which is more relaxing. We loved our teas and as usual the food is very filling even though it just looks like a small amount of tiny little treats! It's hard to find a good afternoon tea at this price point (actually it's the first I've ever come across) and even though it's in kind of a random area of Greensboro it's totally worth the excursion.

*This review is for the afternoon tea only*…read more As I'm a lover of chatting and snacking, afternoon tea is an activity I enjoy as often as I can afford! As I've done most of the afternoon teas available in the Triangle area, I am not branching out to the Triad. Afternoon tea at O Henry came highly recommended to me by people I know in real life and rightfully so! Afternoon tea at O Henry is served in the lobby of the hotel when you first walk in. They have clusters of seating all over, and they do get booked out so be sure to make your reservation ahead of time. For the tea, they have a few different tiers but I've always opted for the full O. Henry Tea. It's still only $22 which is such an accessible price point as I'm used to afternoon teas costing easily double! It's a hearty and proper tea, and they will refill your pot too. I can't wrap up the review without commenting on the excellent service. Every time I've come for the afternoon tea, I am impressed by the warm welcome and attentive service by all of the staff I interact with. This afternoon tea is one I will repeat time and time again!
