I've gone to TAC a couple times before and plan to do so again. This place is pretty epic and if you're looking for a good CQC Airsoft Field, then TAC is a really solid option for you. I messed up the third time I played here. I payed online and had a printed recipe I was supposed to show, but I forgot and payed in cash, so I double payed. I sent an email to them later, and a really nice guy was totally understanding and said that I could print out the email and next time I come to TAC to play, I can just show it to them, and I'm good for a day. A lot of the staff at TAC are really nice and knowledgeable about airsoft and seam to enjoy helping you. But there were a couple of douch bags that didn't seem to enjoy doing their job/being a genuinely nice human being when around others. The only reason I've docked a star is because the first couple times I was there, there was always an employee or two who were total assholes. One guy had longer hair and a bit of a beard who screamed at me for the smallest things, full well knowing he was doing that to a complete beginner in airsoft. I never saw him again, so I'm, assuming the guy got too many complaints and was fired, or maybe I just got lucky and never saw him for the times when I went. There was another guy with pretty much the same description as the first, except he was like 7ft tall. This guy was a bit of an asshole, but still pretty cool and fun to play with. I say this because when you're aiming center mass normally and then shoot this guy, the shots hit him right in the balls. He complained a bit about that. For the few times I played with him, he was an overall cool guy. Still can be a dick though. I've got other cool and not so cool experiences here, but overall, I think this airsoft field deserves four stars. I am excited to go back with friends and I'm sure most people would be excited too. read more

Everything about this place inside and was dirty. But my son and his friends had a blast, and the prices were reasonable. The front desk staff were really nice. My son's birthday card and money came up missing, and they helped look for it. Never recovered it though. Have someone who isn't playing watch your stuff. read more

I've been taking my son (17 YOA) there for 5+ years, and have had a private party there for his birthday once. Today was the first time he left a session before the end. When I asked why, he said there were others cheating (not calling "hit"), doing it right in front of the ref; my son asked the ref about it, and was told "...there's nothing I can do about it right now." What? The ref doesn't run the show? After enough of this, my son bagged it and we left- he didn't want to waste any more time there. Not worth the time. Avoid. read more

5 stars for the friendly and helpful staff when we were there. If you haven't done airsoft before and are a bit worried, then this is definitely the place for you to break the ice. That said, it's pretty expensive and a fairly basic layout, so I won't be driving from the Newcastle area down to Tacoma to go again. read more

Went here as a private party reservation gave they had rental gear and a lot of bbs I want to mention that the managers was a great and friendly guy, all my friends had a blast. would be cool to use the main field for out private party but that might have just been the timing. Our private party had a good small field, 4 hours felt like just enough time to play for most of our games, some we forgot to play. Over all we had fun but I also didn't pay for the time we spent there. We attended a private party. Our group of 10 played on the private field. This field is very small with a majority of the cover in the blue teams favor. VERY HOT and STUFFY! Our referee, while a nice kid, he definitely took his time getting matches going. I feel like with the time spent listening to his stories, we could have played 3-4 more rounds. He also wouldn't change the teams up at all. Or swap ends for spawn. Our team (blue) absolutely rolled the red team over and over to the point the blue team would all respawn at once just to give the red team a chance to hide. This was a downer for the birthday boy as he was on the red team. While there I inquired about the main field and costs for drop ins. While the entry for play seems reasonable, the gun rental by the hour stings a little bit. I will continue to play drop ins here on the main field. Based on the experience from the private party we attended I would definitely NOT book here. read more

Don't waste your money. $40 a person for the privilege of listening to full grown men (and teens) yelling at each other during matches. They sound like 5th graders. Very poorly run establishment with management who are not enforcing rules. We've been here 3-4 times & wish there were other options in the area. Good idea, extremely poor execution. read more

I am not a serious airsoft player but do play periodically. My old KWA finally broke beyond my ability to fix and I needed some advice. I made the drive to the Tacoma Airsoft Center. It is a pretty unassuming place that is not very well marked. Once I walked in I was greeted and shown around the shop. They have a huge assortment of Airsoft guns of sniper, AK, Compact assult, shotgun and pistol styles available. The sales staff there knows their stuff very well and I got my information in just minutes and learned a lot more. The pricing was maybe a couple dollars or two above the online stores but this is a brick and mortar store and airsoft guns that you can pickup and handle. After my purchase they took it to the range to get my muzzle velocity and to make sure the motor sounded right and was running well. I opted to also have the spring replaced while I was there which only took minutes and once again I was in learning mode once again. This place has full up gear and also a indoor airsoft arena. They have limits on how many people due to Covid for games. They are in process of opening up a new shop in the University District shortly, so they will have two shops. I will definitely say they are the local experts in the greater Seattle area. read more

Guys please be aware this place will rip you off, this is my personal experience, I will be reporting them to better business bureau! Sometime in December I believe it was the 29th my 7 year old son comes in with my sister and his nephews to this store and buys a green gas airsoft pistol. Upon arrival home and trying to shot the gun it doesn't work and brakes when we tried to shot it again it auto fired the whole clip. Thank God no one was hurt as this gun didn't have safety switch. We weren't able to come back and exchange the gun since the New Years celebration so we waited until now January 15. When we went in there and tried to exchange the gun they told us to simply call the manufacturer and submit a claim they couldn't do anything else. This is our local business who is trying to make it and we are trying to support. Honestly it's not even about the $150 air soft pistol that you sold my kid that was broken. It's more about the way you handle business. And yes you will say it's a store policy and this is the way we operate. Trust me guys, specially Matt who took my call and pretty much told me to Ef-off. That's not how you treat your local customers. Guys if your looking at a store that won't rip you off or treat you like a dollar sign don't go here and don't give them any business. Amazing time here. Had to buy bbs and team bands tho (5$ bands 20$ bbs). So come prepared. REFs have a good sense of humor so just follow the rules and you'll be fine. read more

This place is a good place to play airsoft. You may have seen some not so good reviews but the thing about most of them are they are old and out of date. They have really fixed the place up and made it way better. Most of the refs are fair and not as bad as people say they are. I live quite far but I still make the trip down there as much as I can. I definitely recommend playing here. P.s if the refs are yelling at you or your kid, they probably have a good reason and are just trying to make sure you understand. read more

Staff is really bad, refer shot me in the ear! I would not recommend going here with your kids, they where yelling at my kids! I had a really bad experience and I regret paying $60. They need to get new staff memebers because they do not know how to talk to people! I will never come again. There fridge is dirty I bought a drink and it was dirty! Great CQB airsoft. Staff are friendly and helping, quite a store as well. I really wish they would have HPA tank refill's, as going to scuba shops can get quite annoying. The indoor field feels quite repetitive, I wish it was more like the CQB fields that are more open with smaller roofed structures. Great for rentals and beginners! read more
