Made a stop here for lunch between Sanford airport and Coco Beach. Great service! Very friendly staff. From the outside it looks like a typical bar but the food and drinks are great. Draft beer selection was good. Wings were good, tots were really good. That Philly cheesesteak with beer cheese though....wow! So good!! Being a Pennsylvanian, I feel confident in knowing a good cheesesteak and this one was hands down one of my favs. Lots of black pepper, grilled onion, mushrooms and peppers. Roll was great. Nice and messy how it should be!!

Good destination. Loved the atmosphere of this little dive bar. They have a small menu (lots of frozen fried bar foods) *there is an adjacent mobile food (attached BLT and collard greens - both fantastic) So... these stars are shared property between the ambiance of the Alibi and the food of the "meals on wheels"

The Genevan and chicken & waffles....all yum!!!

Incredible. I just realized that I pasted this place one too many times. Shannon is ab-fab. The staff and service are super sweet. The food is to die for. Had the Genevan and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back. Sorry about the photo, I was starving.

Small biker bar in the middle of nowhere. Great atmosphere, with a pool table and a large bar. Small menu with typical bar food. There is an outdoor seating section with a stage and there's a food truck there. Bartender was the only one working and Cindy did a great job. Good prices on drinks.

I came here with my dad for lunch. Because it looks and is billed as a "bikers bar" my dad wasn't sure. I told him well rated on yelp so let's try it. We are both happy we did! We got the teriyaki wings, the fried green tomato caprese salad, and the Deep South BLT, made with fried green tomatoes. VERY happy with the choices, the quality, and presentation! The waitress was awesome, too! We sat outside since it was a nice day. Overall, enjoyed and will be back!

Okay, let me tell you why I'm only giving it three stars. First. Food was good. Hot dogs are a must. Like wagu what?! Sooo good!! Tuna nachos were good.. needed a little something or more of the cucumber idk but very good. Pro belly flat bread was amazing. Skip the dessert or maybe it was an off night. What the description was for the cheesecake was cheep syrup some cayenne pepper flakes no gold sprinkle nor whip cream as said and pork belly was dry not the maple sirachia as stated. Now, cocktails.. ON POINT!! Like, wow. So dang good. Spot on flavors. Great and true mixology. Now why I took two off. Their customer service was not so good. Talked about stuff found in hotdogs under a microscope (needless to say, that's not where this one was from) just have a little decorum while others are eating. We ordered another hot dog, which They also forgot )for a bit of time until we had to say something. and with no real apology for the delay (mind you we were the only ones there for a hot minute) they just brought it out. They did get a little Rush and they only have one guy back there making some incredible charcuterie boards, but we waited a long time for the dessert, which again, not even an apology for the delay. Again, food (less the dessert) and drinks where on point. Oh and not sure about the music selection, a lot of foul language for a "dinner" environment. (Just my opinion. )

Hopped into this spot on a whim to grab a drink and beat the heat. It's a good spot with leather booths and attentive wait staff. It's a bit dark and atmospheric, if you're into that kind of thing. The menu is extensive though. We didn't eat so I can review the food. Parking is on the street.

Lunch special was great, Reuben with fries! Crista was a friendly and fun bartenders! We met a group of ladies from Vero and had a wonderful time! Will definitely go back on airport trips

Alllll I can say is WOWWWW... Cocoa Beach is finally arriving in the culinary world. Really cool vibe , stopped in with a friend from out of town . I've been wanting to try this .... so this was a great excuse. The exterior is really cool with rough cedar accents - coming in it looks like a speak easy with luxurious leather seating dark colors and low lighting . I bet this would be a cool date place or a great way for meeting someone for the first time .... dark bars always make you look younger and prettier. I had a plead the fifth tequila drink ... fantastic! I had pork belly nachos with pickled onions , blue cheese , balsamic vinaigrette and of course the pork belly .... southern girl that I am the pork belly was perfect . My friend had truffled fish dip ... I thought she was going to lick the plate. The drinks are original and the Owner / Bartender .. Mattt is a real alcohol engineer. His combinations are so creative . Cant wait to cone back . Cheers Matt .... great job !

Plus, seasonally, it's a Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Farm! The large deck includes lush plants, picnic tables, cozy Adirondack chairs, and is bookended by a fabulous bar and stage for live music. I cannot say enough good things about this space and its owners. They are part of the push to create community in Apopka through offering engaging quality businesses and venues (these are the people behind the future Hall's on 5th food hall right on the same street!). I have been coming to Propagate since we started building our home and have really enjoyed seeing their business flourish over the past few years. They have a loyal customer in me and I cannot wait to see what's next. I digress, the service at The Shade House is stellar, the cocktails are creative, and the vibe is an extension of Propagates but with some added spice. You guys outdid yourselves on this one.

You can come and enjoy a nice drink without getting alcohol. We also ordered a burger from their limited food menu. It was very good. Not in competition for best burger in Orlando or anything, but the flavors were on point, and bun was nice and soft, and the furikake dusted crinkle cut fries were the perfect side item. Even on a busy Friday evening, I was able to snag a cozy round table in the back for my friend and me, which was a pleasant surprise. Bonus points for the upstairs bathrooms not requiring a code (unlike the ones downstairs)--a small but appreciated detail! I ordered an espresso martini that was dairy-free (which I love), but it ended up being a bit too sweet and slightly watery for my taste. I only took a few sips before deciding not to finish it--not bad, just not quite for me. Since I was the DD, I didn't bother swapping it out, but it was still the right call. My friend's gin cocktail, on the other hand, was light, mild, and super refreshing--she loved it! Also, shoutout to the bartender for bringing the drinks over to our table--such a nice touch. I'd absolutely come back and give another cocktail a try. The atmosphere & service alone makes it worth a return visit!

Seating is a little old and dated but it's a pub so who cares. With their windows open you can sit outside, they have a very generous patio area. I moved from inside to outside, had a nice glass of wine and enjoyed the atmosphere. It's an incredibly friendly atmosphere lots of fun people and if you want dessert after having one of their giant pretzels there's ice cream next-door. The music was fine, the people were fine and did I mention that they are dog friendly? I got to pet all the puppies! That just made me even happier if it was possible. I hardly ever go anywhere anymore since Covid so this was a wonderful change. I will be back for sure and enjoy the ambience, the wonderful service, and the atmosphere. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about the Village Idiot pub!

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Apparently, the Yelp Skynet a.k.a. the AI that green or red flags reviews, doesn't like the actual name of this pub despite the fact it is the pub's name. Ergo, I will use the abbreviation VI for the remainder of this review. Besides that, you really can't go wrong going to any of the pubs in Historic Cocoa Village. VI is one of the pubs on the eastern side of the Village, in between the famous Fat Donkey's Ice Cream and the furthest east pub in the village, Ryan's. Appearance-wise, the outside fits primarily with the building, but there are some minute details that give it its own personality, primarily around its name. There is also a section of the road and sidewalk that have been garrisoned for VI as outdoor seating and games such as bean bag toss. Indoors, it is definitely your kinda pub that many of the patrons are friends. The right side (East) have long tables with many pub and drinking games such as Hook & Ring and Shut The Box. There is a bookshelf filled to the brim with board games in case patrons prefer traditional or childhood classics. The left side (West) is the "Patio," a room that is decorated by numerous plants, neon lighting, widker and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Finally, the middle of the pub is the actual bar, in the form of an L-shape serving a nice arrangement of beers from many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies across the United States. I had the Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. Other beer selections I would recommend include the Pineapple Cider by the famous Carib Brewing Co. and the Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewing. Personal note on the latter: Mango Carts, well for me, only taste good when straight from the tap. Cans are not good. And the food, it is minimal, but boy does VI know how to tug at my heartstrings as everything they have features, or could feature, cheese. They have pretzels with cheese, pickles with cheese, and my personal favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches. And for the more sophisticated patron, they have numerous choices in charcuterie boards, too. I will also state the drink prices are a bit on the high side compared to some other places I been to. And there are two restrooms that are single-serving and gender-specific. I don't believe the latter has to be gender-specific because they are single-serving. The barn doors are an interesting choice because they are not very good at blocking sound. I guess that is why VI blasts the music so nobody can hear the flatulence. Speaking of music, VI does have a small corner stage for small acts, possibly singular, to perform. Unless there is a pull-out large stage for outdoor performances, I don't see big bands, per se in higher number of members, performing here unless they can all jam in that tight-spaced stage. Ultimately, I am going to give VI three-out-of-five stars for this review. They are a solid pub that has all the fixin's of a good bar to go to. Maybe it is safe to say they really don't stand out too much, especially amongst the more unique bars in Historic Cocoa Village. But still, a good place to have a drink with friends with that "Everybody knows your name" kinda vibe.

I always order the grilled onion burger with the cowboy sauce on the side. It's incredible, but it gets too messy if you put it directly on the burger. Sauce on the side is the move. For sides, it's fries or tots, always extra crispy. That single choice makes a massive difference. Everything comes out fast and hot, every time. I'm down in Titusville periodically for work at Kennedy Space Center, and leaving for lunch easily turns into a 1 hour and 15 minute round trip if you stop here.
