The online ordering process was quick and straightforward. Perfect take out solution for staying nearby at a local hotel and didn't want brown-bagged fast food. Went with simple; classic cheese pizza. Just what was needed. Crispy, slightly chewy crust and a good ratio of cheese and sauce. Good amount of garlic and oregano. Also had the fig bruschetta which I didn't get a photo of. That was delicious but almost a dessert with the added fruit drizzle on top which actually stole to show from the fig a little. Only recommendation would be to lose the sauce and let the cheese and fig stand on their own. Will definitely try going and eating in the actual restaurant when back in the area. read more

Their happy hour is definitely my favorite around, so many amazing food options, from pizza, to risotto, & such great cocktails! Enjoyed an early Saturday afternoon lunch with my family that included everything from several appetizers to pizza, hangar steak, chicken specials and more. Cannoli dessert and cappuccinos were also devoured. This was only my second time trying this place, first time I sat outside many years ago and this time we sat inside. Extremely warm upon arrival and with a quick ask, the temp was adjusted. I know its random but thought the bathroom was appealing. I don't get an upscale vibe as it promotes on their website. My hangar steak was delicious and very tender, but just warm, it was missing that I was just cooked heat. I've had take out a couple times and that has been good, not great. Here's the scoop on this place: If you're going for dinner on a Friday/Saturday night, I would highly recommend you make a reservation in advance, which you can do online through their website. I went on a fairly busy Friday night, and was given bread and water almost immediately after sitting down. The bread was very good and came with olive oil for dipping, which had some spices in it and tasted delicious. For a drink I ordered a house margarita on the rocks, which was good. For an appetizer, I got the Fried Mozzarella with marinara sauce. These were amazing!! The order came with four large mozzarella sticks, which were hot and crispy. Some of the best I've ever had! Next came the garden salad, which had a very good balsamic dressing (the entrees all come with salads). For my meal, I chose the Veal and Shrimp Francese, which came with mashed potatoes and carrots. The veal and shrimp were very good, though not the best I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were great. For dessert I got the homemade Chocolate Lava Cake, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was so good, but super chocolate-y. Overall the service was excellent, with the waitstaff refilling water glasses and clearing the table without having to ask. We were greeted by " Rocco", have you ever been served by an old time professional waiter? We were it added greatly to our meal experience. Had my Dad's 75th Birthday Dinner at Dolce on Mill Plain Rd in Danbury. They were amazing from the hostess that sat us and helped us with our balloons, our waiter Rocco, the food runners, and nice girl who refilled our waters. We had a variety of food - steaks, ravioli, chicken, scallops, shrimp scampi. My Dad and sister had cocktails, my fiancé and brother in law had beers. My espresso martini was so good, I broke my one drink rule and got a second one! Other drinks also looked interested and cocktail list was extensive. They provide fresh bread with olive oil and white bean spread to start which was great. We had appetizers of carpaccio and bruschetta- both fresh and fairly large portions. The carpaccio appetizer with the arugula, Parmesan, and light mustard dressing was melt in your mouth good. The bruschetta has the creamiest chopped fresh mozzarella. For main entrees- we opted for Chicken Parmesan and a Scallop and Shrimp lemon Risotto dish. Both were too large to finish so we took the rest to go as it was too good not to. The scallops were seared perfectly and soft in the center. The shrimp, veggies, and risotto was equally done well. My Husband really enjoyed his chicken parmigiana. Our waiter was attentive and allowed us time to relax and dine at our leisure.
