So, I got the small Meatball sub with extra cheese and a small Italian Cold Cut sub. The Italian Cold Cut sub met my expectation of an all around good Italian sub. The bread was fresh and had a nice chew to it and it was filled decently with meat, cheese and salad. The Meatball sub was a bit disappointing. First-the meatballs are not homemade. The sub was prepared by taking the same sub bread, laying cheese down, and then placing 4 meatballs down that are either sitting in a pan with sauce or are heated in a microwave with sauce, but those are definitely frozen meatballs. They then wrap it up and that's it. The bread is served cold and the cheese isn't melted in some places. Its not what I would consider a hot sub. I really had high hopes of having crunchy hot bread, with some melted cheese pull when I bite into it. I also didn't care for the sauce. It has too much Italian seasoning in it, taking away from the marinara and overall taste. The place is a small take out only establishment that is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely return for cold cut subs and pizza. For the price, it's a great value.

Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter. It was quite tasty though the chicken was definitely a bit dry. At least the bulgogi was nice and tender. All told, Bao Yeah is a promising newish addition to the Triad food truck scene. It may not be the best Korean street food you've ever had, but you're in for a flavorful meal without a long wait.

First off, this isn't just a random food truck. There is such an incredible story behind it. It's run by Gary and his best friend Alex, who have been friends since grade school back in Mexico City, Mexico!! You can feel that deep history in the way they run their business. There's a level of trust, energy, and authenticity that you don't usually see, and it trickles down to the entire team!!!Every employee I interacted with was genuinely happy, welcoming, and proud to be there (which says a lot) especially during these times. They've also set themselves up in some of the best spots around. I visited : 1) Summerfield Farms. 2) Oden Brewing Company. At both locations, you're not just grabbing food, you're getting a whole experience! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Live music, dog friendly. The menu is simple, affordable, and done right. We got to try 4 different tacos, their queso dip, and their churros, and everything delicious! The meat was seasoned to perfection, super juicy, and full of flavor without being overcomplicated. But what really made this experience unforgettable? I got invited onto the truck to make my own churros!! let me tell you, that is not something you get to do every day. It was hands-on, fun, and honestly one of the most unique experiences I've had, collaborating with another business. By the end of it, it didn't even feel like a transaction anymore, we became friends! Taco Bros isn't just serving food, they're building up thier community. And that's something you don't come across often.

Overall the truck seemed very clean and hygienic for a food truck. The staff was incredibly friendly and organized. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The prices are a bit high which is common for food trucks. Guac and chips was $10 and the chicken quesadilla was $14. One thing that would have been a nice touch was Jarritos. The chicken quesadilla was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. It was good sized and stuffed full of chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese. Overall we enjoyed Taco Bros and would definitely try them again at another event.

I really didn't know what to make of it all, and worried the food wouldn't be very good, since their focus seemed split in several directions. However, I tried several different things on the menu, and most of them did not disappoint. We split a Green Bacon Flatbread and Cajun Chicken Quesadilla, and I also got a side of mac and cheese and a strawberry smoothie. The flatbread was pretty good, although it did JUST taste like bacon. I ate it with ranch, which they do well. I suspect their other flatbreads (which they have a LOT of) are less one-note, but I'll never know, because I would just order this one again. The quesadilla was great, and the chicken was well-seasoned. They also season the outside of the tortilla, and I appreciated the extra kick of flavor. This came with sour cream and a salsa verde. The mac and cheese was mild, creamy, and chock full of pepper. Usually I like a sharper cheese flavor, but I enjoyed it. Smoothies were extremely cheap (under $5 for a 16 oz), but unfortunately we got what we paid for. They were wayyyy too sweet for our tastes, and not a lot of any fruit flavors came through. Our server was kind, attentive, and quick. The interior was very spacious and I noticed several people with laptops out doing work while they drank coffee. It's a nice space.
