This is a great brewery! My husband and I have been here a few times over the years. This time there was a food truck right out front which is nice (we did not get anything from there this visit). I stopped here on the way back from the beach since a friend of mine suggested it. It was a super cute place with lots of seating inside and at the bar. The bartender was super nice and let us try beers that we had never had before there. I ended up getting a flight because I like to try so many different beers They do have a food menu that looks really good, but I didn't eat anything that trip. The day I was there they also had a food truck out front. Just came here for the first time the other day and ha da great time. I ran with a friend who does their run club and we hung out after, it's $3 half pours on Thursday! Good vibes here, fun space, and they also had trivia. We were able to snag a spot in a separate room though which was nice because we didn't actually want to participate that time. Really cool, chill brewery in downtown asheboro. They have a diverse menu to include sours, stouts, pilsners, German lagers, and light ales. I tried their Berliner punch, black and blue and red all over (both sours) and their black is beautiful stout. I really enjoyed all 3 but was partial to the stout. They also have a small snack menu to include chips, popcorn, and pretzel. There are also food trucks that park outside most days that you can order from! They take their COVID safety seriously and masks are required when not seated and you can order by text from your phone. Really awesome job adapting to these times! My mom and I were in Asheboro for the afternoon and decided to stop by before we headed out. We got there as it was opening on a Friday and the bartender was very friendly, welcoming and happy to offer suggestions. My mom got one of their stouts and I went with a flight of four - I think I chose a stout, sour, cream ale and Irish red? The stout was definitely the best with lots of flavor and very smooth. It looks like they have lots of weekly events, from trivia to live music. The brewery sits on what appears to me a community park where they have shows and concerts, so grab a growler and a picnic. read more

I really wish this place was a little closer to Winston-Salem so that I could make this place one of my two regular drinking locations. I REALLY enjoyed the brews here. I also really enjoyed the ambiance here, really quaint and intimate drinking place. I tried 3 different beers here, an Upper Road Irish red, Potter's Clay amber ale, and a St. Wenceslaus Bohemian pilsner. The were all great, I could chose a favorite. There is no kitchen there, but thy allow you to bring in food from outside or even let other businesses silver to you there! I got some pizza sent and it was a perfect compliment to the beer. The bar wants you to do so and supports the other local restaurants even keeping their menus behind the bar to allow you to order and eat there. I will go back, and go back everytime I'm anywhere near down that way. read more

On the way home from a trip to Charlotte and discovered this gem on my handy dandy Yelp app (Just a note, Boyfriend was driving since being on your phone while driving is dangerous). Since we were in Asheboro right by the brewery I said lets stop! Walked in, grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a flight that consisted of the Genesis, Stout One, St. Nicholas and Briscoe's. I really enjoyed the Stout One since I could taste the vanilla and Genesis which is a Belgian-style Dubbel. I also liked the St. Nicholas which is a Christmas Ale brewed with the spices that I enjoy. They also had a musician playing music which helped make for a great experience. Chill spot, if you are around the area or traveling through then stop by for a quick brew! This brewery was excellent! The options were varied, a little bit for everybody. They also do something unique here, they make a new beer each week with different ingredients. The only catch is if it goes over well the batch won't last the whole week since they only make a small batch of it. The prices were pretty responsible too! The staff was very friendly and the overall atmosphere seemed very family friendly considering there were several families inside with their children, it seemed like the local place to go. The only drawback maybe the location, it is in downtown Asheboro but I feel if it were in a larger city they would probably have a line at their door every weekend. read more

Wow, who knew Asheboro had any hidden treasures to offer aside from the state zoo? Four Saints Brewing is a relatively new kid on the block that is the bustling NC craft brewery scene, but don't let their relative greenness fool you. These guys know what they're doing! The brewery is right off the main drag in Asheboro and the space is absolutely beautiful. There are big ol' glass windows out front facing out to the main street, a sprawling wooden bar, and tons of space in the taproom with numerous tables and wide walking areas. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly dedicated to both providing good service and pouring quality beers. As for the beers, they seemingly have a variety of drafts on at any given time with numerous seasonals and more experimental offerings always in the works. While there, I had a flight to maximize my sampling efficiency and I can honestly say I was not disappointed with any of the selections. This is a fantastic spot, and definitely one I would frequent if I lived in the home of the NC State Zoo, but unfortunately I do not. Just had a chance to stop by the new open Four Saints Brewing Company and they are fantastic! Got a tour of the brewing process and love the tasting room. The four beers I tried were outstanding. They don't serve food but you can order food from a restaurant next door that will bring it over. I got an excellent salad and it was delivered in less than 20 min. It is a real classy space with the selling point of no TV just good people to talk to. Another fun aspect was the music that you can select from a phone app. Letting you also vote on music that queued up, share comments online, while you are there. read more

Having enjoyed a number of their beers at local beer festivals, we felt remiss that we hadn't ever visited given their relative proximity down in Asheboro. One winter Sunday, we decided to correct this oversight, and then visit a new local brewery (Brown Truck) as well. Four Saints is located near Asheboro's small downtown area with an eclectic-looking storefront. There is ample parking located nearby within a short walk if you can't snag a spot right out front. Their space is very cool with a bit of a rustic feel and a large bar with ample seating. The bartender was friendly and helpful, willing to share his opinion about their offerings and any insight. During our visit, they just kicked the weekly that was currently on (bummer!) but had their sessions at the ready. I was more than happy to try a flight of their stout, amber, dubbel and ESB, and each were very enjoyable. The amber was probably my least favorite of the bunch as its flavor profile just seemed a little faint and I like my red/amber beer to have a bit more on the palette. However, the stout, dubbel and ESB are all rewarding choices. I really look forward to what Four Saints can do in the future, and it will be a must-visit each time we're in the area. read more

Visited the brewery on our "random city, on a whim. Weekend of adventure". Beer was pretty good. Bartenders were very accommodating in allowing us to try various types before committing to a pour. I loved the schmidly bock the most (amber lager) while my partner loved the clachneart Scottish ale. Live music was a great touch. Wish this place had "real food" saw they had what sounded like bar food but be aware these are bags of chips and hard pretzels. This place would be spectacular if they served a menu of food and stayed open later. All in all great atmosphere, we enjoyed our time there. I've been taking a ton of precautions even with things opening back up. I'm still hesitant to go anywhere I have to sit inside, but FS is going above and beyond to reduce contact. They've reduced the number of tables to provide ample spacing. You order via text so you're not standing in a line at the bar or coming face-to-face with the staff. You do the same to alert the staff you're ready to close your tab. When seated, there's a sign to let you know your table was sanitized. And of course, you have to wear a mask unless you're seated at a table. Sanitizer is available in multiple places in the taproom. I haven't seen this level of care and attention other places, and I'll be going back to FS as soon as I'm able because of it. read more

Four Saints Brewing Company is Randolph County's first brewery, which is a big step for the area considering that the county was dry until 2008. The brewery has faced many hurdles renovating and moving equipment into their 100+ year old building, but fortunately was able to open their doors just two weeks ago. Four Saints is the brainchild of Joel and Andrew, who started out as homebrewers. The brewery is named after the four patron saints of brewing, who are featured inside the taproom. Housed in a former car dealership, the taproom contrasts between wood, concrete, and brick, giving the interior a modern and warm feeling. Four Saints is a brewery and taproom only, which means you'll need to make plans if you are looking for a full meal. The taproom offers up Chad's Carolina Corn and other small snacks, and a 10% discount of delivery is available from Times Square Pizzeria next door. In their first month, Four Saints has these six beers on tap: 1. Omie Blond Ale 2. Hefeweizen 3. Bitter Brothers ESB 4. Potter's Clay Amber Ale 5. Genesis Belgian Dubbel 6. Stout One Stout Four Saints is also working on several seasonals, including a peach hefeweizen and a DIPA. On my first visit I tried the hefeweizen and their stout. The hefeweizen is exactly what you should expect from a hefeweizen. Many breweries get it wrong, but at Four Saints it shows its strong clove flavors without being bitter. It's the perfect drink for sipping outside on a hot summer day. Four Saint's Stout One is officially billed as an oatmeal stout in style. The taste of coffee and chocolate are immediate and fragrant, making it one of the best oatmeal stouts in the Triad. If you are short on time, the brewery fills growlers from $10-$20, depending on the beer style. I cannot endorse this brewery enough. Between the location, interior feeling, friendly staff, and high quality beers, I honestly have a hard time believing that I am in Asheboro when visiting Four Saints. This is a good thing, as Joel and Andrew are in good company among other pioneers who are reshaping the culture of this town into something uniquely different. read more
