We had a lot of serrated knives and a few plain edge, the grind on the plain edge knives was not symmetric and the scissors had no noticible improvement. Other people seem to have had good luck, but we did not.

I don't think they were this sharp when they were new (30 years and only me sharpening them on a whetstone). I highly recommend this service and Tom is a pleasure to work with!
