Today is Sat and I used both this afternoon. They cut like a hot knife thru butter. Clean cuts with no tearing of the hedges which was happening before I had them sharpened. I was trying to break down a whole chicken and noticed it took a considerable amount of effort to do so. It was time to have a professional take care of my knives. New England Sharpening Inc was a bit difficult to find at first as I turned too soon. Once I found the building, there was hardly any parking! I showed up late but the door was still open so I scurried in and asked the guy behind the desk if he had time for one more knife. He agreed to sharpen my cook's knife and was done in a few minutes. My knife cuts like it was brand new now! Prices were rather reasonable. I paid $3 which is much less than what I was used to paying at my usual spot back in California. In addition to knives, these guys sharpen chain saws, shears, woodworking tools, and a whole bunch of miscellaneous items. I may come back at some point to have my swiss army knives and emergency knives sharpened as well.

The owner reported that it is $3.50 per knive ANY SIZE! So I came back with my mini knive hoard and dropped them all off. The inside the shop is not much to look at (a mini hoard itself) but the guy did a great job sharpening and will use them going forward.
